I came to my senses!!!
I came across this reaction earlier today. Since you had a chance to “sit with it” 🤣. I would love a new video with your new in understanding. There’s so much history on this album and so many layers. It’s hard to understand! The fact that she sang an Italian Aria and then performed a song called “Spaghetti”, or how she called out the “Radio Chitlin Circuit” or how she covered “Blackbird” with 4 Black female artists. It’s power packed with so much, it’s hard to comprehend it all!
The "Spaghetti" song uses a Brazilian funk sample "Aquecimento das Danadas".

Who cares if she sampled her own music, Alligator Tears is about her son. He is the new man in her life that she adores and I could see him putting on when he wants to go out in public. Beyonce isn't having it, she refuses to let the trolls break his spirit, thank God Blue is a girl we girls are resilient at letting water roll off our backs like a duck. I agree that they need to protect their son.❤❤❤❤
@kimberleighlivi, thank you for saying this song is about her son, I also think this song could be about her kids , we know kids can be manipulative sometimes to get their way, and as a parent we lovingly give them everything regardless, I see so many people on TikTok saying this song is about “white women tears” which to me doesn’t make sense, because there is love in her tone of voice regardless of the alligator tears. But we are all speculating anyway.
I refuse to believe this song is about her son when black ppl have built damns, railroads, The Whitehouse and civilization for America and we were forced to change our religion for America. Plus with all the videos of Karens crying (crocodile tears) to get the cops to come out on black ppl for no reason. Plus every song she makes doesn’t have to be about her personal life. This song could just be about any body in a relationship that uses fake tears to get their partner to jump though hoops for them.
I kinda feel she killed Jolene. Went from a warning to action into daughter where she was now cleaning the blood off her dress 😢

She created a body of work so amazing that she would saturate country music with. Hell hath no fury! She created genre bending art. HAHA!!! As a force of nature, she will not be marginalized! I understand your need to revisit this album. It's so different, it requires multiple listenings. Beyonce is always a wise teacher who forces us to do our homework. She truly is a visionary and an innovator. She has always respected the elders. She realizes and pays homage to the brave who paved the way for her success. She prepares to pass the baton to those who follow her. Cowboy Carter is a masterwork to be honored in the tradition of Thriller. I also heard her I Love You to Tina Turner. Her's is a voice for the ages. It has no limits. Enjoyed your reaction very much. You get it!
