Who cares if she sampled her own music, Alligator Tears is about her son. He is the new man in her life that she adores and I could see him putting on when he wants to go out in public. Beyonce isn't having it, she refuses to let the trolls break his spirit, thank God Blue is a girl we girls are resilient at letting water roll off our backs like a duck. I agree that they need to protect their son.❤❤❤❤
@kimberleighlivi, thank you for saying this song is about her son, I also think this song could be about her kids , we know kids can be manipulative sometimes to get their way, and as a parent we lovingly give them everything regardless, I see so many people on TikTok saying this song is about “white women tears” which to me doesn’t make sense, because there is love in her tone of voice regardless of the alligator tears. But we are all speculating anyway.
I refuse to believe this song is about her son when black ppl have built damns, railroads, The Whitehouse and civilization for America and we were forced to change our religion for America. Plus with all the videos of Karens crying (crocodile tears) to get the cops to come out on black ppl for no reason. Plus every song she makes doesn’t have to be about her personal life. This song could just be about any body in a relationship that uses fake tears to get their partner to jump though hoops for them.
Ikr he a hater fr because every song of hers is different it wouldn't be a album/song if it all sounded exactly the same he really a fake unloyal fan fr
I came across this reaction earlier today. Since you had a chance to “sit with it” 🤣. I would love a new video with your new in understanding. There’s so much history on this album and so many layers. It’s hard to understand! The fact that she sang an Italian Aria and then performed a song called “Spaghetti”, or how she called out the “Radio Chitlin Circuit” or how she covered “Blackbird” with 4 Black female artists. It’s power packed with so much, it’s hard to comprehend it all!
Humorous, pop culture references on dec, loves Beyoncé, understands music and cute… like a first listen of act 2, I’m overwhelmed 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for your reaction
The Chitlin Circuit sustained Black musicians + performers during the era of racial segregation in the USA🇺🇸 from the 1930s-1960s well into Jim Crow. Beyoncé is working part time as a historian providing teachings via context clues in her imagery + live performances. 🐎🤠Cowboy Carter is a bold, ambitious album in Beyoncé’s discography-an audio museum emceed by country legends Willie Nelson + Dolly Parton. We get transported inside Honey B’s country music’s hallowed halls to find Linda Martell whom became the first commercially successful Black female artist in the country music field and the first to play the Grand Ole Opry. Beyoncé pays it forward cutting checks to the current Black Birds of country music today. What a legacy she is carving out and will leave behind. Top 5: Tyrant/Sweet Honey Buckin 👑🐎(trap country to dance house country sub genre) Ya Ya (Tina Turner + Little Richard tributes) 🙌🏾🙌🏾 II Heaven (Jodeci feels) Desert 🦅 (Chaka Khan-esque bass riffs. Double entendre of a 🔫 or a sex position) Bodyguard (Sheryl Crow ran so Julius could run)
All hail the Queen! Grovel, infidels! When Beyonce was so viciously disrespected at the 2016 event, she pulled herself up by her bootstraps and went to work. She created a body of work so amazing that she would saturate country music with. Hell hath no fury! She created genre bending art. HAHA!!! As a force of nature, she will not be marginalized! I understand your need to revisit this album. It's so different, it requires multiple listenings. Beyonce is always a wise teacher who forces us to do our homework. She truly is a visionary and an innovator. She has always respected the elders. She realizes and pays homage to the brave who paved the way for her success. She prepares to pass the baton to those who follow her. Cowboy Carter is a masterwork to be honored in the tradition of Thriller. I also heard her I Love You to Tina Turner. Her's is a voice for the ages. It has no limits. Enjoyed your reaction very much. You get it!

Ummmm not sure i totally agree with that assessment patsy belts, Carrie does…. There some great country songs that go full on belting… but i agree that’s not every single

Dang dude. Every song doesn't call for super high notes. These songs are beautifully arranged.

I kinda feel she killed Jolene. Went from a warning to action into daughter where she was now cleaning the blood off her dress 😢
Omfg!!!! The way I did not link these two together and it’s kinda genius track placement and storytelling
respect on spaghetti
I came to my senses!!!
anne marie lastrassi ate with this album
Our Italian queen 🙏😍
The "Spaghetti" song uses a Brazilian funk sample "Aquecimento das Danadas".
Gotta check this out now

It’s RIIVERDANCE for me ❤❤❤❤
The way I was not expecting that song to turn into what it is 😳❤️
Ya, ya is more 60s than 70s . 70s was the DISCO era.
Country is not a belting genre…maybe if she sings it live she could belt on it tho. I like it staying in the pocket tho
I think as I’ve listened now with headphones and multiple times, I am so glad for all of her vocal choices. She’s storytelling!

Thank you for showing love ❤ what an album!!!
Country is not really about belting.
This comment!!! After revisiting this album a few times I’m picking up on her vocal restraint to showcase the storytelling
Ummmm not sure i totally agree with that assessment patsy belts, Carrie does…. There some great country songs that go full on belting… but i agree that’s not every single
Was enjoying your reaction til that horrid camila clip
I kept watching and you do so much complaining... jesus christ
that was an innocent insert
Camila was honestly the first thing that came to mind in my post-edit 😅 and I agree, it was late and my initial reaction started getting critical
@@WillTheeTaurushe did that before. I came back to try with him again but he really does complain a Lot
