This album comes with a full visual, that basically goes through all different emotional stages in the context of infidelity, but also touches on other aspects like generational trauma, police brutality, racial injustice etc from a black person’s perspective. It was really beautifully done, still one of my favourites. Also, Beyonce did another visual called Black is King for the Lion King inspired album she released in 2019. I am not black, but I cried my eyes out the entire time, just because I never saw black people represented in such a beautiful way on film. I appreciate your reaction❤ hope you will continue this Beyonce journey, because she has a lot to offer
Awwww this young man don’t even realize this album just sent him down the Beyoncé rabbit hole……. This album is just the tip of the iceberg…… Beyoncé’s journey started in 1997 young man…… And she has been 🔥ever since the whole time with no misteps (well maybe one or two 😂)
Daddy Lessons song indeed inspired the country album she dropped this year. In 2016 she performed this song at the CMA and some people in the audience did not felt she belonged there. Rumour has it that some people yelled “get that n* of the stage”. She definitely felt all that hate from her fellow artists and I think that motivated her to prove them that she can get into their space if she wants to, and even dominate their charts, which is exactly what she did with Cowboy Carter😂
Lemonade by beyonce. 4:44 by Jay z. Everything is love by the carter's. Its a trilogy of albums. Her side, his response, and a reconciliation with a joint album. Lol, they don't do interviews. They monetize pain and healing. You want marriage tea, pay up, 3 albums 😅
I would rank Lemonade as #2 because it is timeless and so relatable. My #1 is Renaissance just because is all good vibes and my go to album when I feel down. My #3 is Cowboy Carter for the complexity it brings to her discography. I think it is her best work yet, just not spot on my particular taste in music. The Gift album (inspired by the Disney Lion King remake, where she was cast as the voice of Nala) is definitely #4, very good afro beat album. Really hard to rank her work when you actually listened to everything multiple times😂 I just feel like she gets better and better each time, so my ranking is rather chronological
You should really watch the Formation film, it really gives a new perspective to the music and whole new level of respect for Beyoncé as an artist!!!!!!😊
I find it fascinating that anyone can have missed this. I made one of my sons who as 13 listen to it 😂😂 he now says it’s her greatest album and he’s not a fan
Jay Z cheated on her, yes she was talking like this lmao and yeah 4:44 was his response. Then The Carters - Everything is Love came out after both albums.
