I know this is super late but the voice on the chorus of Call Me After Midnight is Sam Dew! He is a super talented singer, you should definitvely listen to Red Hearse, an album by the band of the same name with Jack Antonoff, Sam Dew and Sounwave, I think you will really like it!

Her harlequin album is INSANELY good… It compliments the character and movie so well and it’s still very gaga esc. Harley Quinn is VERY classic gaga coded when you really think about it. You just have to be willing to genuinely sit down and listen to it all the way through, while understanding that it’s meant to be a separate entity from her main work. I know jazz isn’t everyone’s favorite, but you’d be surprised how much you might enjoy some of the songs if you gave them more time/more of a listen.

Coldplay represents plurality, energy, color, freedom, purity in lyrics and melodies. This album reflects everything I mentioned. Simple melodies, sweet lyrics and good energy. My suggestion: they could have included more tracks on the album (about 14 sung songs, for example) and perhaps some of these songs with arrangements and lyrics more focused on Slow Rock (as they did in the early days), with guitar solos and sounds from all the instruments the band members (Example: they did this in the song "Coloratura" on the previous album and the result was excellent). I realize that many Coldplay fans are clamoring for this and are upset and others are even outraged! But the band remains among the best and continues to be very successful due to its essential plurality.

As much as I would love A wave to end Moon Music, it does make sense in terms of story telling of the original album and this deluxe edition with more live and acoustic versions to end with a wave like it’s a concert

It isn't stellar. But at least the Moon Music instrumental and A Wave take us back to the Coldplay with full intention that we all fell in love with. Those two are a 5/5.

I had the same reaction as you, I'm frustrated. The album could have been so perfect if he had put The Karate Kid just before Rainbow Emoji and A Wave instead of "lalalala" in One World...

Arabesque is in my opinion the best song in this album.

Yeah I think the album is great. iAAM and Aeterna is like the peak of the album. I was also as surprised as you were at the start of Aeterna, it is pretty jarring after the last track but I think works well. Its a great dance/EDM track from them!

I do think with Coldplay they have the problem with their latter years as oasis did in their early years. They both wrote beautiful and incredible songs, but shit a windmill when it comes to picking songs on the album and which songs should be B sides or extra songs you just want to scream at times!

That’s my initial reaction on Man in the moon at first. But oh boy.. It’s growing on me like anything. It’s on loop now. Try to get more into the lyrics and you’ll love it!!

Your reaction was great, I was surprised that they released the deluxe edition of the album so quickly, I get emotional with man in the moon every time I listen to it, it's not just one of the album's highlights but also one of recent years, based on the most pop albums , mylo xyloto, a head full of dreams etc, I also loved the wave and it should be the last song on the album, in fact, it's fantastic :)

The whole reason why this album is so full of positivity is because that's what we need in the world today, with all the wars going on. That's why Flags is my favorite song by them; it's sad, but it has a positive message.
