    I just bought an 02 model in red, with 25k,it’s awsome cruising about on, lots of cool extras to add, love it, great review I might add. 🇬🇧👍

      Thanks for the thumbs up Gary, glad you enjoyed. Wow, an 02 with 25K on the clock, I hope that's miles no KM's! That's only about 1300 a year, not even run in! The previous owner must have taken it around the block once a week! Probably too cold to be out riding today though? Thanks.

    Thanks for the fun and informative "Rev View" as I'm looking at an '05 with less than 10k miles in a couple of days, even in the same color. The only thing I didn't care for is winding up both Hondas under zero load for no reason and banging into the rev limiter. To each his own but that's nails on a chalkboard to me and I used to race two strokes.

    • @CompleteRider
      @CompleteRider  2 года назад

      Thanks for the good vibes, the REV VIEW bike is a Honda RVF400 and they are as tough as nails, completely over engineered. I raced one for years and the only time people ever blew them up were when they tried to hot them up. I get where you are coming from but they are an electronic rev limiter so it's not valve bouncing. Enjoy the Goldwing my mate still loves it. Ride safe and Subscribe 👍

    Back in 2002 I bought a brand new GL1800. Illusion Blue like the one in the video. I’ve owned motorcycles my whole life. I’ve been on the street for 38 years and had 10 years riding before that. I’ve had many many motorcycles and the 02GL1800 was the best bike I’ve ever owned. The motorcycle you look at is not the motorcycle you ride. It feels way lighter than it is. Feels super stable at all speeds, it does everything you ask of it and it does it well. I drove mine daily like car until there was snow on the ground and the bike really does a good job of it, very practical with all the storage.
    The guy that designed that bike is the guy that used to design the 500cc 2 stroke Super Bikes back in the 90’s. Compared to previous Generations of GoldWings, that Gen changed the game. I think it was from 01 to 17. Up until 10, they were built in Ohio.
    Good video

    I just bought the 2005 anniversary model. No CD and poor sound, but few miles and seems to be a great bike. Right turns after yield, on country roads, are a bit more challenging than my 1200A, but I'll learn. So far, a wonderful upgrade to my latest Deauville 650. Of course - 5 times the price :-)

    I bought this same bike, same color in 2005. My first Goldwing and I still have it in my garage with low miles. I agree its about as good a big bike as one can get and I've owned touring bikes from BMW, Harley and Yamaha. Wing is the best of them overall. I got the 6th gen a few months ago, a lightly used 2018 just to have another Wing in the garage. No time to ride it yet so be interesting to see and feel the differences.

Great if you are in the market for a seconhand one or just seeing how far bikes have come over the years. I love two wheels and an engine, old or new, fast or slow. I don't need the latest greatest to be happy. Hope this helps you to understand the channel. Thanks for the interest.
