I'm doing fitness blender for nearly two years now...I must say I never hated a excercise like the side hip raise toe touch...unbelievable how exhausting those are!!! I am 22, I have a 2 year old daughter, im 5'2 and 150 pounds! Sheesh, completely out of shape. but I've been doing the Jenna micheals work out for the past 2 weeks it was great but I decided to pump it up to a hour instead of 30 minutes. So I tried this work out yesterday and I must admit it was the hardest thing ever, I made it through 30 minutes and had to stop because I was about to pass out and throw up. I was bummed that I didn't finish but I was proud that I got so far with this strenuous workout. But I told myself don't give up keep trying and I did, today I did the ENTIRE workout and im still pumped. Moral of my story is you just have to keep pushing yourself to allow your body to get used to it. if you want the body you have to work for it! Nothing is overnight except the moon and the sun!
I don't want to sound like a pro or something;p but I think you should try doing those 30 minute workouts for a longer period of time I started my fitness journey (which now lasts almost 2 years, yay!:) by doing Jillian Michaels videos like you do and I started with her Body Revolution programme whch lasts 12 weeks and is designed to challenge you every week so you do more demanding exercises every week and I have to say when I finished this I could do any routine I wanted, your endurance is just up the roof . So that's just my little recommendation:)
In my opinion, most of their workout routines are putting Jillian Michaels to shame

I see plenty of people sharing their fitness stories and commenting on this workout below, and I just want to share mine in hopes of reaching out to people in the same boat as I am! I am 24 years old, 5'6", and 142 lbs. I am at a very healthy weight for my height and age, but I am terribly out of shape. And, frankly put, I HATE cardio.
I thought I'd try this workout for the first time today. I got through about 7 minutes before I had to take a 5-minute rest. I continued through the workout cycles, having to pause the video after every cycle to lie on the floor for about a minute. I eventually stopped at the 24-minute mark. Even though I didn't complete the workout, and had to take such frequent breaks, I feel great about myself. Any progress is worth it. I am not the fittest person on the block, but I know from experience that it WILL get easier in time. The first workout after a long break can be difficult and disheartening, but feeling the workouts get easier and easier over time is the best feeling in the world. Keep going!

This is one of the hardest workout i have ever done! Repeating each exercise 8 times is just killing me....worse than 1000-calorie workouts. Muscle endurance challenge definitely. Almost died!
Normally TABATA is my nightmare but I think with abs interspersed it made this bearable. Although I will hear Daniel saying, "4, 3, 2, 1 start 'em up!" in my worst dreams tonight. Thanks Fitness Blender for another good workout.
Amazing work out! To those who are curious, here are my Heart Rate Monitor stats after this routine (I am 5 ft 1 at 112 lbs):
Average HR: 147
Maximum HR: 188
Calories burned: 498
Fat burn: 18 min 53 sec
Fitness: 48min 36 sec
(Keep in mind I pressed pause twice in order to get my heart rate down before hitting the floor for abs; namely, after high knees at 44 mins and after the long jumps at 53 min)
I.started my fitness journey about 3 weeks ago and I have been working out with fitness blender..... I started out with 10 minutes workouts and am so joyed to have finished the 1 hr workout... Feel better about my self ever since I started so thank you for helping me stay on my fitness journey

Feeling discouraged? Here's a fun fact: I made the mistake of trying this workout when I was still a beginner (2 years ago) and ended up vomiting before the 10 min mark. Not saying it was easy today, but I am so proud of how far I've come and I want to tell anyone who is just starting their fitness journey to always listen to your body, start where you need to and work your way up :) I will come back to this workout until I can do the whole thing without having to take breaks and switch to low impact versions every now and then like I did today !!!
Wow. I've never hated an exercise as much as I hate the side plank toe touch. My elbow and side of knee hurt from the friction between the mat and my skin holding my weight/position. And I felt like an elephant doing the broad jump 3 backward hops lol. The whole time I was praying my neighbour below won't complain
In right there with you on those side plank toe touches. It feels like my knee skin is pulling in crazy directions and you have to do it 8 times in a row same side :-/ At least "this workout is complete" feels well earned after this one!

Thank you! I'll take note when I do that exercise. But that would mean I'll only be able to jump very short distances instead of making "power bursts". Never knew I'm hurting my knees for I've been doing that since I was in primary school for NAPFA standing broad jumps. So thank you!

I am a fitness instructor, I incorporate lots of HIIT and ab training into my average week, I like to think I'm in pretty good shape... and I am SORE after this! I did it yesterday and found it challenging but I haven't been sore like this in awhile. Those side hip raises with a toe touch are brutal. I love it.

i am following their 8 week program and i am feeling stronger and fitter by the day. the routines are challenging but i can feel the result every passing week. i love these guys. clothes fit better and confidence soars. i am so thankful for their videos.
These 8x HIIT exercises really test you mentally. The plank steps were the worst for me. Nice sweaty workout and I am now free to enjoy my weekend!

have only just started working out after years of not being able to due to relapsing from my eating disorder, and i must say, i haven’t felt this much pain and this close to death in a very long time lol. trying to get in the mindset that i’m working out to feel good and to better myself and my body, but it can be really difficult when you’ve had the same negative mindset towards food and exercise for a long time... but there’s nobody better to turn to then you guys!! ❤️

After 40 minutes I was hovering over the mouse, basically already decided to do the last 20 minutes some other time. However Kelly kept me going in the end, I joined in again and I lasted. I eventually made it through :) Thankyou Fitness Blender!

I've recently returned to your videos, and man did I miss your workouts. The way you put your videos together is my favourite. I love the bar showing what's coming up, the commentary, as well as the fact that you switch the exercises often enough that they don't get boring. I've never enjoyed doing the same Tabata workouts sets over and over, and you guys always keep it fresh and stimulating. Loved this workout today, thanks guys !

I believe this is the first @FitnessBlender workout during which I thought I was dying. In fact, the switch knee mountain climbers, very first thing, should have given me an idea that I would, indeed, die a number of deaths throughout. The water break was more like a breathing break. I can't remember when I've sweat as much during a workout. I may have almost shed tears at one point when I thought we were on round 5 or 6 (may have been the dread side hip raise toe touch), but we had only just completed 4. Now my goal is not to eat the house the rest of the day! Thanks, guys! This one is definitely a trophy workout! #workoutcomplete

Felt like 5/5 in difficulty, attempt at your own risk! This was a great ab workout, and I was surprised at how great of a cardio workout it was too! I was huffing and puffing! I had to sit out a few rounds because I was out of breath so I did butt kickers instead. For the side plank toe touches I did 4 on each side per set, instead of doing just one side for 8 rounds. My shoulders couldn't make it!
I'm just so proud of myself for making it to the end! If you watch Kelli's face I think she was struggling by the end too!

When I hear you say that you know the muscles burn it reminds that they do and somehow, I feel more tired. I used to have a trainer who'd say, "you're not tired, tell yourself for not, breath and go!". Somehow that gave me that extra push when I tired at the end of intervals. Just a suggestion that might push people when they feel they reached their end. I was always surprised at how much it helped. Thanks!
I always say out loud you can do it, you can do it, don't stop, the pain will go away when you finish the routine:) and I agree it helps a lot! I think everything is in your mind and you're in charge of your body.
My point is it's best in those gruelling seconds and when you're most fatigued, to hear an external message of," hang in" there as opposed to a reminder that I'm tired as in, " I know you're tired."

Still one of the best FB workouts ever. Never fails to sweat, stretch and burn inside and out, demanding lots of deep breathing and control. Make your own humid hot yoga room in an hour! Puts your head on straight too, I’ll tell ya.

I'm loving fitness blender I have been exercising for a month now. I enjoy the mini scissors kick because I find them easy. Swictch hoot burpees are a no no. I always finish the program I will be sweaty and exhausted in a nice way. thank you so much you kept me going during the festive season. You are simple the best @fitness blender!!

A tip for the side plank toe touch! I have pretty bad knees, my kneecaps are very poorly anchored so I have a lot of trouble because it causes me a lot of pain to do this; to alleviate some of the pressure on your knee without taking away from the exercise, take the hand youre using to touch your toe, and put it flat in front of you, it also helps you to have a more stable sense of balance, and can allow you to hold the position a bit longer, and you can adjust the length of your torso/plank as necessary.
just make sure you arent putting all your weight into that arm!! Just use it for stability and a little pressure reduction!
This exercise was amazing. I'm not really used to FitnessBlender, but I've started to like the workouts. I mean I used to be too weak to do any 1 hour long workouts but nowadays that I do, I'm really grateful that FitnessBlender is there with all these crazy videos.
I especially love it when I'm totally sticky with sweat after a workout, arms and legs shaking and all. It's just an amazing feeling.
I can remember the first time I did this and I was sweating, complaining and really tired and worn out, a few months later with a good combination of strength training, cardio and HIIT with fitness blender, this has slowly but surely become one of my favourite workouts which leave me feeling empowered, on a high and feeling stronger than the day before- a big thank you to you, Daniel and Kelli!💜💜💜

Holy cow...this was a great workout. I lost about three pounds sweating. It would be helpful to have an option for the movement where you lay on your side, lift your hip and swing your top leg forward. I can build up to that, but at this time the difficulty affects my form. Thank you for sharing!

Killer! I got through the whole thing, it didn't always look pretty and I shouted and wailed while I did some of the more demanding exercises, but I did it.
