Why The Writer of Injustice Was The TRUE Villain

  • Yeah I said it! The writer of Injustice was the TRUE Villain of the story! Okay, let's be honest. Injustice Gods Among Us and Injustice 2 does give an entirely different feeling to some of your favorite characters. Injustice Superman goes completely off the rails and isn't able to be consoled at all by anyone to make him stop hurting the innocent. Injustice Wonder Woman, doesn't put any restrictions on what they are doing and looks at everything as a casualty of war even though she was betrayed in one of the biggest wars in the world. And Injustice Batman...well he flat out isn't a good friend at all and even when he goes through something similar to Superman he still doesn't try and help his friend. I must admit normally I don't blame writers when breaking down characters but in this video we will be shining a light on some of the odd choices that don't make much sense that the writers decided to have different characters do. If you enjoy make sure to leave a like, sub and comment below suggestions for future videos!

You're not wrong, the writer just took everybody completely OOC. Hell, when the REAL Superman showed up it basically spelled it out that he would never do this. You want a good example of a Superman who lost everything due to Joker. Kingdom fucking Come Superman

I think Jonathan Kent explained Batman and Superman's reasonings best, he said something along the lines of "Clark looks up to you. He may be able to fly but he thinks you can walk on water." And then to Batman he said "You held an impossible standard to an impossible man, but he needed help rather than your standards" and those quotes arent accurate, but the meanings should be the same

If it's the writer's fault it makes it all uninteresting like when you pit characters together like Iron man vs Batman or something if you say it depends on who writes the story or comic or movie or whatever like come on can we exclude them?

When it comes to injustice I really don't care about the writing to be fully honest. Because, in the end of the day is about DC heros beating the crap out of each other. And however they handle injustice 3 when it came out, I'll take for what it would be. If Superman or Batman or whoever ends up dying in the end, I'll be fine whit it. Expect Zatanna. They better not make my Queen dirty.

Of course it is the writers fault. The knew doomsday has no internal organs, they knew Superman can just see your vitals. They chose to have the dumbest weakest Superman. If they say differently then they are either lying or stupid.

Superman is infected with Scarecrow toxins and doesn't think straight or even if he doesn't have rational thoughts. We all know that Superman is much more emotionally driven than Batman, and so does the Joker. You play like if Superman is going on detective mode when he's losing his mind right there.

@fordderek2429 what are you talking about? It's been shown innumerable times that Batman is the brain, the cunning one, and Superman has rushed into the places without thinking twice more than once.
Of course, Superman can afford to have such attitude since he's nearly invulnerable. Batman is very vulnerable, so he always checks before getting into somewhere.
The problem is that Superman has never dealt with the Joker. It's a clear case of underrating your opponent. Batman knows Joker, so he always is terribly vigilant on where he's stepping because Joker loves playing games with him. Superman has never dealt with a figure like Joker. Even he's fallen into Luthor's traps more than once, only to escape thanks to his overwhelming powers.
The setup scenario is plausible and credible. If you choose not to believe it, it's your choice, but I don't see the nonsense you talk about. Everything is consistent with the characters.

Okay, so I am not sure if you are aware of this but the Injustice comics came after the video games. Basically Tom Taylor and the other Injustice writers had to get Superman, Batman, and all the other characters to their starting places in the video games so the fate of the characters' was not theirs to write. The perfect example is Green Arrow. Green Arrow died in Year One because Batman tells us in the video game that Superman killed him early on. And some decisions do make sense when given this insight, such as them changing Steve Trevor's origin to make Diana more of a villain.

I absolutely disagree with your premise that it's the writer's fault.
The writers are writing a story with a clear message: "Hell is paved with good intentions."
The writers want to give a single message: You may think that killing bad guys is good, but you never take into account the unintended consequences.
This saga is about that famous message from Nietzsche: "Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster...
For when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. "
Batman always repeats in English this message: "I don't want to become what I fight against."
For Nietzsche, as for Batman, the idea of killing for good is a slippery slope:
You start killing the bad guys, and it works. They're afraid, the run away, you set an example.
Then you move forward (why not?): "Kill all the inmates in prisons. They're irredeemable, and they're a burden to society."
You may kill people who are actually innocent, but you don't care. They're doomed.
Then, when resistance happens, you think they're a problem. They're bad: they're helping the criminals you consider irredeemable.
And what do you think? Some people have to pay so a better society arises. That all these necessary evils are worth it...
Your good intentions are all that matter, nothing else. You decide who's worth saving and killing.
And before you realise, you're indistinguishable from a villain or a tyrant. Because they all think like that: I'm protecting my people, I'm protecting my town, etc.
AND IF PEOPLE CROSS YOU, you are weak, and if you're weak your mission is in jeopardy. So you must do Whatever it takes to succeed: give them a message that tmyour mission will succeed bo matter what, even if you kill some people to strike fear in everybody's hearts so ALL OF THEM WILL BE SAVED.
That's why people that say: "It's Batman's fault for not killing the Joker on time" or "if Superman just stopped when he killed the Joker everything would have been fine"...
They don't understand that people may not react like THEY think people would.
Remember, in the comic is clear: Superman does bad things one step at a time, but they're small, so many of his friends don't notice or don't care: when Superman threatens Atlantis into submission for joining the regime, when he decides to execute publicly, etc.
    Food for thought.
