Dude, Superman killing Shazam was what made him irredeemable in my eyes. I could've forgiven him for all that he did before, he was driven mad by his grief and Wonder Woman stoked those flames. Then he killed a child, not someone like Barry or Hal who'd lived and made their choices as adults, he killed a boy who looked up to him his whole life and followed him because he always did what was right. Superman here is just as much of a monster as the Joker.
Actually, it broke the character in my eyes. I don't believe any real version of Superman would kill a soldier child who fought for him.
The authors were like "Hmm, shit, Superman isn't evil enough, some people will thought ending crime and wars are cool... there should be only one opinions... he needs to be a monster! Maybe killing children?.."
Imperative Games I do t think you get that there is a multiverse out there countless scenarios can happen. There is a universe for every choice made and every choice not made. This universe is just the one where a Good Superman turned evil. The superman we usually follow makes the right choice all his life. So saying any real superman wouldn't do this undermines the existential reality that we are a product of our choices.
Your choices are limited by your perception of those choices. You wouldn't go home and eat your family today (I hope). The guy who can be recognized as Superman won't kill his children soldiers. Or he diverges too far from title of Hopeman, just as you would differ too far from "good family member" title.
Again you miss the point. My previous statements still stand. It's like you think this superman is the main superman, he's not. you surely have a mental hurdle to get over. In a multiverse a superman can be a killer or a hero or dont exist at all. you cant complain that The Superman we know would never be a killer when this is not the superman we know, and the whole story is a what if scenario about what would it take to make a good superman turn evil. your complains are kind of silly considering the crux of the story.
Superman is a myth, an idea. A title, if you wish. You can't point at a random guy and tell he is Superman now because authors told so.
Also, you can't turn into evil in that way. You have to crazy and evil in first place.

Its fear, I think that Hal was a yellow lantern because he instilled the most fear in himself. He feared what he became. Letting his friends get murdered by superman, even letting a child die.

Shazam was 17 years old when Superman killed him; However, that was still horrible. The true tragedy of this story is that things did not have to go so far as Superman's regime went in order for MUCH NEEDED REFORMS to have taken place. Superman truly needed Bruce to met him halfway and to help him grieve. But Batman was such a Fucking tightwad! Imagine how things could have worked out if a compromise could have occurred.

if you read a comic, it's mention over and over and 2-3 times, she said that she knows and she can't change her past. She's also needed badly when Ra came. They need someone to be middle man and she's the one that can speak on both side due to her being villain and good guy.

Harleen Quinzel was a normal, functioning psychiatrist. The Joker broke her mind and turned her into Harley Quinn. Last I checked, she is still crazy, still violent, and still masquerading as the twisted female version of Joker that he made her. Even if she's not with the Joker, she is in no way free from what he did to her, as long as she keeps embracing what he made her. Also, your name, HarleyxJoker FOREVER, is quite terrifying... Their relationship is the poster-boy for abusive relationships...

May be two years late, but Harley admits in the comics for Injustice 2 that she was expecting the plan to fall flat as they were directly fighting Superman. I believe she said, “Superman was supposed to save the day like always”, or at least something close to that.
The only reason why Harley Quinn got a get out of jail free is because of her gender.

Will Squires that's the point the game focuses on all the other characters so for them to make a comics they can't rip the entire story so they tell it with Harley as the main character.
That was the point to GZ, to both recite the story of the game, but filtered through her so it's not like "why bother buying this comic when the game cinematic is there?"

Nashrin's World They made characters that would have a huge impact in the fight die early so they won't mess with what the writers want.
Not as bad as getting killed by some random stone on the ground.
Maybe we could get Kyle/White Lantern as a premier skin for Hal in IJ2.

Injustice is my favorite Batman vs Superman story. Batman's best solution? Get another Superman. Also I think seeing this flawed, evil version of Superman gives you an appreciation for who and what he is. While Bruce strives to overcome his limits, Clark has to impose them on himself.

Azor Ahai More like how overpowered they made Superman, Shazam held his own against Hercules and he broke Eros' wings. Superman bullshited his way to the very end. Killing Hercules, surviving Captain Atom's blast, equal to ten nukes exploding when in TDKR one nuke was able to weaken him by a lot that he nearly died.

I love this storyline but it killed me to see some of my favorite characters die so quick or easy because they seem unkillable in the normal timeline
Because in normal timelines its about a happy ending and given a full plot armor while this one is dark civil war where their only hope becomes the symbol of fear. Ofc, the plot armor getting reduced to zero.
Thanks For Injustice's Complete story. I saw its series stories till year 5 episodes in Hindi language. But, after that The Story teller left it And kept it only Suspense for us. Now I'm completed this.😃

Shazam was still being innocent thinking he could get through to him, he wasn't mentally prepared to face Clark.... this Clark in a real fight.
Injustice: Captain Atom beat both Superman and nearly killed Wonder Woman, putting her into a coma, at the same time. Alfred beat Superman. Batman beat Superman numerous times. Superman gets his ass handed to him a lot, throughout the Injustice story. Mr. Myxzptlk was posing as the Spectre, and got stuck fighting Trigon, and was put into another dimension, where their still likely fighting. Constantine tricked everyone, so he could beat Trigon's deal for his soul, and live happily with his daughter. Evil Injustice Superman gets taken out in one hit, by Batman, and that ends his whole reign.
Yeah, he's pretty weak, he got very lucky to last 5 years.

Nope, superman wasn't going full out, it was stated this multiple times. Superman actually had the upperhand even though he was holding back, and he survived the blast while wonder women went in a coma. Saying that atom can beat superman, let alone superman and wonder women is a very fanboy thing. Also injustice isn't canon, if it was superman would have stomped captain atom harder. These are the same stories that have trigon in mr mxy's level. I love injustice but they are purely for the story, not in realism in comics, otherwise if superman wanted he could rule the universe let alone earth.
