If Netherrealm were the ones who decided it, it would've easily been done, the developers would've likely killed to be able to have the DC characters performing fatalities, or at least brutalising eachother. But Warner Brothers likely wouldn't allow it.

I liked how the writers had to clarify that they purposely wrote wonder woman out of character for this series because she wouldn’t be remotely on board.
Wonder Woman isn't against killing the odd person who deserves it, but being like this, hoo boy, this is definetely an alternate Wonde Woman.

Injustice comics > Injustice game. I will say that the comic killed some characters for no reason and only for shock value *cough cough* Tim Drake
I'll never get over that. It was so stupid they did that just as Tim got out of the Phantom Zone.

They do that for all the characters (besides Constine) who aren't in the game. Although im not surprised, because most elseworlds stories unjustifiably kill characters.

Shazam at the time of his death did not have his powers activate, but the reason he was in his Shazam body I because they did not want to show superman kill a child

Man.. Klarion's literally my favorite villain in the whole DC universe, honestly just wish writers would establish him already, I feel like he has so much potential.
He was pretty cool in Young Justice.
Nightwings death as dumb as it was also made so much and shows how very easy it is for normal people to die. Damian was also forever full of guilt over it even in IJ2 he never forgave himself "he always dodged when we sparred"
For scarecrow's death, that could've been an impostor used to escape the joker. He might have even used fear toxin to confuse the Joker into killing the wrong one.

I like to think scarecrow survived because he had built up some sort of immunity to toxins due to constantly working with them, but the joker toxin just messes up his face into the permanent joker smile

Scarecrow's "death" did always kind of confuse me. The way I rationalize him being alive in Injustice 2 is that since he works with toxins of his own so often he built up just enough of a resistance to them to just barely survive the Joker toxin

I think that Injustice shows one of the sides of Superman, one that people constantly deny it. Superman have a higher chance of being a ruthless dictator, he always uses his powers as a way of showing this.

This is the same thing with dictators, their use their power and influence to make what they believe be considered as the truth. Superman just need a horrifying experience to become the Injustice Superman and whowever he goes this feeling will be his shadow.

To be fair he arrives home, is nearly beaten to death by Captain Atom and his girlfriend is almost killed in a nuclear explosion, and sees what clearly appears to be the insurgency either assassinating or kidnapping his parents, and then Green Arrow shoots his dad

I feel as though Scarecrow wasn’t killed by the Joker. I feel like he was dying from the Joker gas when Flash and Batman found him, but he was at a point where he could still be saved, hence how he returns in Injustice 2

Phantom Stranger can't die. Like... it's spiritually, physically, everything-ly not possible. He is one of few characters who is, by definition, immortal. Also Spectre is ridiculous so I'm not surprised, but Spectre cannot kill Phantom Stranger.

I think you vastly under sold Shazam’s death. That was a big moment for me at least while reading the books/playing the game. To me Shazam is when Injustice Superman truly became a supervillain

The He-Man Crossover not withstanding, if Diana did kill Harley, do you think Bruce would train Lucy(assuming she's willing) as the next Robin or Batgirl? Considering what her father had done too Jason and Barbara, I think it would be interesting if an older Lucy took up one of those mantles.

Man hunter was the only hero that could’ve genuinely saved Superman from becoming the tyrant he is now. It’s also why he was also immediately interrupted by Wonder Woman. He was in the way of what Wonder Woman wanted from Superman. He even saw just how violent she truly was and even offered to kill her so she couldn’t hurt anyone else.

One thing about injustice is the inconsistency between the games and comics. Damian kills Zsas in his cell in the comic. But in Injustice 2, he does it at Arkham with Batman and Superman watching...

Summary: superman becomes a tyrant oppressor who threatens the earth to stop war or he'll kill those in war. He kills criminals and JL splits on who is actually correct; superman or batman
