This is the best tutorial I've ever seen and I've been searching for a while 😂 on console and been wanting to go to PC for ages! This is definitely going to help! Thank you
Hi Oliver, glad I could help and you are more than welcome.
Man this has been one of the best tutorial videos I have ever seen. Amazing work and thanks!
Wow, thanks! Really glad you liked it.
@@Sampsoid Have you noticed how much wheelsets have gone up.
I do need to update my PC but noticed when checking out your link some of the items are no longer listed and prices have gone up. Shall we say $700ish now? I would like to see your updated list. Thanks
Great tutorial. I got one for under 500 plus the screen with little less cup power. It's doing fine. And you don't need to be a hardware geek to build your machine like in the old times.
I'm racing on console at the moment, but want to join friends on PC as well, so this is really great tutorial, as I have been out of the loop for some time regarding to PC build... Thank you very much 👌👌👌👍👍👍
This video kicks ass, mate!
Here it is October 2020 and I have tried to buy most of the parts for this build and the best I could do was around $700 and that was with a 500GB SSD. My big hangup is the graphic card, buy a G-Sync or a FreeSync as the monitor I am looking at is a FreeSync. I would like to here your comments on this. Thank you David for posting this video.
Appreciate it brotha.
Your welcome 👍🏻
Another thorough video, missing just one thing that jumped out at me. While choosing my video card i opted to have 3 display ports just in case i get the 2nd and 3rd monitors somewhere in the future.
Thanks a lot, I do mention when picking a graphics card that you would want to make sure you pick one with the appropriate ports. I didn't want to assume what monitors you have in the video. Thanks a lot though and yes I have 3 monitors using display port also.
@@Sampsoid Now I am thinking, I may as well look for 3 ports. David.. recommendations? Any precautions in assembling this box? Still using DDR4s.
Thanks man I know a lot about cars but but nothing about PC’s.
To bad gpu prices have skyrocketed
Awesome vid..
Didnt realise how simple to assemble
Hard bit is knowing what you need..
All $US i assume
New to iRacing and trying to learn as much as possible before making my purchases. Your videos have been a big help for me. Thank You!
Amazing tutorial. Not a lot of people make videos in detail. Most videos are ok buy this, buy this, oh you will definitely need this!....... Thanks for taking your time and explaining everything. I been with consoles my entire life so time to build me this $600 1080p. Oh I almost forgot. This is with HDMI? Cause I would like a big screen instead of 3 monitors. Seeing the Basel bugs me in a 3 monitor setup.
Very informative
Glad you think so!
This is a REALLY good build I bet I can run shooter games smoothly to
What kind of changes would you make to be able to run VR with out issues. Brilliant video as usual 👍🏻
when buying mother board pleas make sure its a decent power delivery with some sort of heatsink
good video thanks...are all cables etc included in the various parts...or do you have to buy them separately.
Hi David great vid could you run iRacing and stream at the same time with this build
would this setup be good enough for asseetto corsa and GTA VM at max settings
Great video, thanks. I'm looking for a PC to run iRacing with 3 x 24" or 27" screens, 144Hz and 1080p. Woukld this sort of build run that comfortably, or would you upgrade CPU and/or GPU?
if you want 144hz I would recommend scatter volts 600$ pc build. It is very budget and can run most games at 120-180 fps.
This is super helpful. I noticed though that you only went with an SSD but no internal hard drive. I’m really new to PCs but have seen other RUclipsrs recommend the additional hard drive. If I’m just planning on sim racing (plus maybe some video/photo editing), am I really sacrificing anything but just sticking with the SSD only?
Ssd is quicker then hhd, that's why, but u can have a hard drive
Great video, do you have a video on monitors on a budget?
Unfortunately not but I will look at doing one for sure. Thanks for watching!
Back in those days sure a good Price. But Sep 2021 The Price for the GFX is insane high. Is around 350-400 for it only... What would be a good Budget GFX right now?
Can you make video for ryzen 5 build. Without graphics car but built-in only
I'm thinking of using your build list for me iracing pc. The motherboard is out of stock. Do you have one you would recommend replacing it and do you have an updated parts list?
buzzkill 84 gigabyte ds3h
...today in 2.21 for 600€ a joke!...but nice vid!
Im running a Ryzen 5 3600 and a RTX 2080 super and 16GB of ram and my PC only scored a 5.1 in meeting the Iracing PC requirements it scored high in storage and ram but CPU and GPU didn't score well im not sure why?
can it run assetto corsa with SOL mod and some maps??
would this be ok with a samsung odyssey G9?
I know I’m going to incorporate VR into my sim rig in the future and was curious. Will this build be compatible with it?
for VR always run 1 tier higher. in this video he picks i think 1660 i'd pick the 1660Ti one for no compromises
@@siriuswinter1065 I might go with the 1070 used
The video card chosen is no longer available. What would be your second choice? Thanks for the helpful details!!
Honestly this is the first budget build video that didn't recommend the rx 570. Not sure why he put minimum 6gb.
You can easily get a 4gb rx 570 for $130.
There are plenty of GTX 1660s available. All the same really, only minor OC or fan differences.
David Sampson Thank you David!
Build another sim racing PC Build with a different budget pleaseee ! Budget being $800🙂👍🏾
This run assetto corsa ok aswell?
So i need a pc for sim racing but i Also play csgo, could this computer handle that aswell
Loved the video! I had a question regarding GPUs. I built my GTX 1070 based PC a few years ago. It is more than enough for the single 1080p @ 144Hz monitor that I currently have. Fast forward to now and I've finally pulled the trigger on 1080p 144Hz triplets for the sim rig. I watched this video to build a new, separate dedicated sim rig PC... until I saw you were using a GTX 1660. AFAIK, the 1660 and 1070 are very close in performance. In your opinion, is the 1070 going to be able to handle the triple 1080p, 144hz monitors on high or ultra settings? I don't necessarily need to have ultra, but don't really want to go down to medium after having been at ultra the last 4 years. Thanks in advance.
I have and amd 3100 is that good enough (I also have a 1650 with 16gb of ram)
I am realey not a computer person. Are these built with what you pick and shipped or do you have to put it together yourself?
Ordering this was requires you to put everything together yourself.
I am looking to take part in endurance races. Will this be able to handle long sessions?
Yes, absolutely. I have done it with less for sure.
Would be nice if you could still do this lol a graphics card of $600 or more now for a decent one, I just bought a Sim Rig PC cost me $4,200 if I woulda built it myself it would have cost me a hair over $5,500 that’s just crazy saving over $1000 by buying a pre-built
Now it costs 1.4k
Thanks for posting this, is the information still valid for 2021? What would you change now, and can it still be built for about 600.00? Thanks!
And boy oh boy, are the video graphics cards crazy expensive now....
I thought the answer on gpu for a budget gaming build was always RX 570?
The RX570 is 3 years old now and the GTX 1660 has the new Nvidia Turing architecture without the RTX price tag. You can get a 1660 for around $200. All in all the newer architecture and faster gddr ram will result in almost a 35% increase over the 570. All the best and thanks for the comment
I got a i5 2400 dell office pc slapped in a 1050ti and a ssd bam gaming pc for iracing...£80 i5 2500 8gb ram,1tbb hdd pc,£70 1050ti ,£40 ssd...is that budget enough lol
Single or Triple screen? Most of that setup is ok but the cpu is a little on the old side. Keep your settings low and have nothing running in the background and limit your FPS to around 70 and you should be ok.
Hi sir can you make a updated version of this in 2023 thx
100% Great idea. Will get on it
What about an Operating System?
technically its free to use widows 10 but you can buy an activation key for like 13 bucks if you wanna get rid of the watermark
I need a pc to build a pc😩
Would shipping costs kill the budget to New zealand ?
$$$$$ We use £££££ in the UK!!
Haha
could this run acc😅?
u dont need 1TB for gaming pc
Crucial P2 ssd is better
Buy an 800 pounds PC. Don't subscribe to iRacing ^^
