    With so many people now getting into iRacing, I've noticed a bunch of posts where people are asking for help when it comes to the PC they need for a good sim racing experience.
    Having built many gaming PC's and needing an upgrade myself, I figured I'd put together a quick build guide to help people figure out just what it is they can really get for $1,000 and $2,000.
    Also, if you'd like some personalized help with your system, just leave a comment down below or message me with your budget and needs,
    Anyways, I hope this helps you out.
    Enjoy!

    I couldn't agree more on your layout here. A very good price point! I bought a Dell ... it's pretty good ---- BUT .... I have added a MVMe 1TB drive (on sale!),. It really had made a huge difference --- with only Win10 and Iracing --- startup was near the 2min mark .... after the switch to MVME .... 21sec. My graphics card is the RX580 4gig ... if I upgrade to just even the same card with 8gig, I have to upgrade the power supply. Go Figure, huh? .......... so, if buying new -- I do recommend this lower price point that Tom points out --- you will be way way ahead. Thanks Tom!

    That was exactly the help i was looking for, in a big quandary right now on what kind of computer to put together to get into sim racing (and be able to use VR and also run a single 32 inch monitor at 1440p and 144hz (with super high frame rates to match the monitor hz). I am wanting to work with you to help me build my pc and i will pay you to build it. You were just what i was looking for...how do i contact you personally? I couldn't find any way to contact you on youtube, great video again!

    Hey there, thanks for the video, very useful. I’m looking at building my own PC with a £1800 budget... but what about warranty? Cheers in advance.

    • @TommyBrandon
      @TommyBrandon  4 года назад +1

      yeah you don't really have a warranty when you build it yourself. there is a warranty on the parts, but if you install them incorrectly and something happens, then it voids the warranty

      Any wifi adapter should work. But i wouldn't game or sim race using WiFi. You always want to have your ethernet plugged in.

    What if I have a low budget for a iracing PC because I don't know if I will spend enough time doing it to invest a lot of money to start out. Do you have a suggestion for a $400 PC? Maybe buy a used PC and upgrade it. Where would I buy the used computer and what parts would I need to buy to upgrade it to run iracing. Thanks for any help.

    What would the 2000 ish dollar amd version be with a Ryzen 9 3900 instead of the Intel? Is it that much better than the amd? Also the case front panel wires do they make an adapter to combine all those single wires into a 9 pin connector for easier installation?

    • @TommyBrandon
      @TommyBrandon  4 года назад

      Intel is better for straight gaming becausr it has the higher clock speeds but its way more money than an 8 core amd. As far as the adapter, im sure there is something that can combine some of thar stuff. They've pretty much got everything covered now when it comes to building pc's.

      @@TommyBrandon thank you sir. I'm going to build a sim rig as soon as the game room addition is finished. The computer will also be used in games other than sim racing. I know it would be overkill for iracing, but the kids also like those games where you are some kind of soldier on a mission.
      Oh also is that graphics card able to support VR?
