gotta love for such an old CPU it's still so powerful that a 550 (a fairly more recent GPU than that CPU) is the bottleneck instead of the usual other way around
The 550 was a trash tier GPU when it was released. A 7850 easily beating the shit outta it, which is from 2012, and it wasnt a flagship card in any means.
@@CrocoDylianVT You cant compare like that. Back in the days you could get a 4830 for less than 150$, and it was literally a lower top tier card. @@HlfEtnBread Hi there! we just inherited a desktop computer and I was wondering if it would be worth turning it into a video editing computer. It has a smaller housing, so I would have to see if it would fit an upgraded gpu. I will have to add ram as well. My main concern is the CPU. I would be using davinchi resolve, and if needed, I would think about using the Studio version, which pulls more from the GPU than the CPU. I would take the ram from 8 to 32gb ddr4. I know some basic things, but I am reaching out to someone who knows better to see if it would be worth trying to upgrade or just start a new build. The specs are as follows, and I really appreciate your time! HP desktop pc 570-p0xx Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz 3.90 GHz 2 core Ram 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable) Mother Board HP 82f2 A01
Honestly it's a nice looking PC and if aesthetic is important this wins, But Less than a 100 more (it's actually cheaper if you include shipping costs) can get you a Ryzen 7 5000 series with 32 GB of RAM a 1TB SSD and iGPU that performs better than this rig... Personally I do think it's nice and for RGB and case builds it's probably best for price but sheerly in terms of performance It's not all that competitive with even APU set ups, especially with the slower CPU. Although the inclusion of all the peripherals along with the RGB casing does make this a good deal, just not the best deal in terms of performance. I guess the more flashy stuff is included the slightly slower components to offset the cost.
Built my PC wrong years ago. No exhaust or intake fans, just open mesh. My 12400 stays at 60-62 while gaming, and my rtx 3070 stays below 63 degrees. People don't always need their cases full of fans. And my case isn't open at all it just has some exit holes for air.

@JordosTechShack, to me it says something about them then if they don't mention that fact in the listing and reflect it in the price, otherwise they should repair/replace before putting it on the market to a customer. It's as bad as buying a very low-priced car so you know it's exactly "new" but they never told you the driver's side windows will need fixing before you can roll the windows down otherwise you just have to open the door to conduct drive-thru transactions etc.
Recently upgraded my 2nd computer that friends gets to use, went from delid OC 4790k 2x8GB 2400Mhz to:
3600 36$
b450 50$
2x8 3600cl16 46$
Did not buy SSD/PSU/CASE/GPU since I already had RTX A4000, average case, 850W PSU and couple of decent drives but lets say:
basic ssd 20$
basic psu and case 30$
Meaning left over for GPU 168$
You telling me you can't land a better deal than 4590 and rx550 for 350$? Might be unused parts but holy hell that's some real struggle for price to performance..
Every used market differentiate from every country no doubt and so does retail, I think you should be focusing on more whats best used to performance value wise generally to get viewers a glimpse on what to aim for and what to watch out for. These pre-builds in my mind are getting a bit tiresome, sure they make 1080p playable but what you left on the table could mean huge gains even up to 1440p gains.
Seems like this is more of a review of pre-build to buy with amazon affiliate links at this point than actually making tech/upgrade suggestions but if that's your thing well who am I to judge, keep up the huzzle.
1h of research and i completely agree with you. Those specs for what they tried to do makes absolutely 0 sense and feels like they didnt even try. Almost feels like these RUclipsrs get paid by some of these workstation dumps when they happen.
Looking on ebay right now (some parts are obviously second hand)
R5 3600 = $30-40
Asus Rog b450-f going for = $30
Cheap pc case + psu + couple of fans(can even get rgb if u want it that badly) approx = $100
500gb SSD going for around $20 these days
2x8GB DDR4 3200mhz = $30
That comes down to around $210 after which the only thing thats left is a gpu. For around $100-110 right now you can get a gtx1650-1660.
Total cost = $310-320
This pc will put the one in the video straight to the garbage so stop showing People some dusty old workstations when you can do a lot more with the current market.
This is straight garbage and i know the guys in the video know what they’re talking about which is even more confusing. Must be smoking some straight dick if you think recommending People to buy something like this is reasonable.
I think 350 dollars can easily get you atleat rx 580 with an i7 4790k or maybe even i3 10100f
You might be right. I just scowed my local used market for deals and made a ryzen 1600 with rx 580 and a quality used psu for 270$. I had storage on hand so I didnt need to payfor that.
I managed to build one with a ryzen 5 1600 and rx 6500 xt for 300
@@charlieellison5677 4790k is still slaying 1080p games with good framerates. Takes a decent overclock too without degrading the life of it really. Games have sort of been stagnant the last 10 years
Wel you can get the icore3 12100f for like 100 which is a really good for its price you can form it with any good gratis card
I think I found that same one but now it’s a bundle and comes with a 24 inch monitor but it’s now 429$
A GTX 970 would be nice to go with that 4th gen i 5
I bought a Skytech Archangel that came with a gaming mouse and keyboard but I didn’t know it and it’s membrane, not mechanical so I ordered a Hyperx Alloy and Haste. It’s my first gaming PC in years and I’m very happy. It performs better than I expected. Also Ryzen 5 3600 smokes an i5 and probably cheaper. Lol
Depends on the generation, for the most part an equivalent i5 will be better (with worse thermals) and around the same price if not cheaper.

Would I buy this? If I had a kid and knew nothing about PC building I would consider. What I do like is the SSD and ram. Cheap PCs have a habit of being 8gb ram and/or 250gb SSD. I would want a warranty, which I don't know if this has one or how long it is. Also I would want my PC to come with child safe software to protect my children so if the company offered to set that up would be a plus. The other option is to just buy an Xbox.

gotta love for such an old CPU it's still so powerful that a 550 (a fairly more recent GPU than that CPU) is the bottleneck instead of the usual other way around
The 550 was a trash tier GPU when it was released. A 7850 easily beating the shit outta it, which is from 2012, and it wasnt a flagship card in any means.
@@lanwish I wouldn't call it trash tier GPU for a sub $100 at launch, what is a trash tier is the 1630 for $200 when an RX 6400 beats it for $150
@@CrocoDylianVT You cant compare like that. Back in the days you could get a 4830 for less than 150$, and it was literally a lower top tier card. The 550 was really bad, just for a little more you could buy a 460, which was much, much faster. Or just bought a used card. If you didnt need the speed you bought an apu. It was a card without a real meaning.
And he could upgrade the CPU to a i7-4790k down the road and put a used 2070 in there and it will be a very capable 1080p gaming rig, probably using the same power as the original.

I currently have a decent laptop, Dell XPS 15 with an icore7 16gb ram and a Nvidia GeForce rtx 3050ti. I do a lot of 4k video editing in davinchi resolve but wanted to dive deeper into vfx and such. The stock 4gb vram Nvidia that has just isn't enough. So I'm looking to possibly build something on the cheap that could handle the load of that program. Is this a decent product or a good start for a build? Thanks

Hi there! we just inherited a desktop computer and I was wondering if it would be worth turning it into a video editing computer.
HP desktop pc 570-p0xx
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz 3.90 GHz 2 core
Ram 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable)
Mother Board HP 82f2 A01
Honestly it's a nice looking PC and if aesthetic is important this wins, But Less than a 100 more (it's actually cheaper if you include shipping costs) can get you a Ryzen 7 5000 series with 32 GB of RAM a 1TB SSD and iGPU that performs better than this rig...

And my case isn't open at all it just has some exit holes for air.
yup sometimes fans = more noise
I was almost gonna buy this until I noticed the €200+ shipping fee
lol bro don't bother if you have to buy internationally, and that's for literally everything because it can cost more than the item itself🤦.
Also the plugs will cause problems since they won't go into your outlets.
Getting an Alienware aurora r15 with rtx 4070 and an intel 13900f for 2200, that good?
Hello Toasty Bros! I don’t know a lot about PC’s and I was looking to get one around 300. So would you say this is good or are their better ones on the market?
i have a similar tower from the same brand company, does this one have a PCE-I connector? I cant seem to find mine because i want to upgrade my GPU
It went up in price by $100. The bundle (monitor) is currently $469.
It's 369 without monitor
I'll rather get a Dell or HP office pc with an i5 or i7 and a better GPU for that price, less looks but way more performance.
on amazons link it says its a 4th gen I5
Has anybody got any idea where to buy this? The link in the description takes me to a £3000 pc

i have a ryzen 3 3200g , a320m motherboardm, a rx570 gpu, 16gb ram, 500gb ssd and 1terabite hdd and a 24 inchest dell monitor i got it for only $245 do you guys think its worth it?
I recently got this pc and the rbg fans are not lighting up any ways to fix this issue?
that gpu is most likely a biostar my son had one just like it we bought it off amazon a few years ago for like $85
you can build a 1660 super pc for around this price with used parts.
While that's true, not everyone likes used parts. Some people will hard headedly insist on only using brand new "still in the original sealed retail packaging" parts.
@@Apollo-iq1vx hard to call the parts used in this build new either though. there simply arent remanufactured cpus so that part is used. the "remanufactured" motherboard uses chipset components from used and recycled boards, honestly the heat of desoldering and resoldering those is worse thatn simply buying a used board in certain regards. the same goes for those rx 550s, no telling what crypto mine or never cleaned gaming cafe computer those things originally came from.
@@Vegatablez yeah, that's true. If you dislike used or refurbished parts you're pretty much shit outta luck on a budget PC build, you'll need to spend at least a cool $800-1000 on one.
I hate used parts but at this price i would happily take a used 1660 over a 550 and a bunch of outdated parts
@@Apollo-iq1vx not really. At least in the US you can get a ryzen 5500 and rx 6600 32gb ram pc for under 600$ all new. without deal hunesting, probably under 500 if you get 16gb of ram and use a cardboard case 🤣 Not quite as fast as a series X or ps5 but plenty close or and extra 100$ for a 6700xt
I got it but i had it for about 7 days and now it freeze in fortnite not cause rendering i got lowest graphics mode boost peformance on and it says my graphics isnt compatible with the windows update so i cant manage it idk if its the thermal paste or what
What are a few GPU’s you guys would suggest as a suitable upgrade for this PC that wouldn’t be overkill but yet allow it to preform at its best? Love the vid!
Probably an rx590 8GB card, probably gonna be bottlenecked a bit but it's double the vram and would probably be a decent upgrade that wont break the budget
this pc comes with all of the power cords with it to connect it to a monitor and stuff?
I’ve been wanting to get a pc for a long time and I’m always so intimidated by all the lingo and such. I wanna get a prebuilt pc as my first bc I don’t know much. However, with that being said, I don’t mind not having a top tier pc bc I just wanna play simple games like Overwatch and other smaller online games. Any more affordable pc’s I could potentially look into ?
No this would be the bottom of the barrel lol unless you build your own pc
I bought this exact system as my first PC. It's a good starting PC for anyone looking for a budget way to get into the PC world. I do recommend upgrading the graphics card to something (like I did,) a 10 series like the 1050 ti.
Is the wifi adapter good? Since i see a lot of wifi problems.
@@mrowl7838 Yeah, the wi-fi adapter is pretty bad. I heard about this before I bought it and ordered an ethernet cable with it, that allows me to run at 25 ping. I highly recommend it
@@mrowl7838 No, the wifi adapter is pretty bad. But if you get an ethernet cable it solves the problem, which is what I did :)
@Waki_gaming is it better than running 3kbps wifi and 5Mb download (I hope so my laptop runs at 3 kbps 😭and a 5Mb download speed)
@@mrowl7838 Yeah it's way better with the ethernet, 40 kbps and 10 to 12 Mb download speed 😅
I literally have the same PC except I have a old Dell optiplex 7020 and all I had to do was buy 2 sticks of ram for 20$ so I had 16 then I had to buy a rx550 and it is a pretty good budget gaming PC I get 60 fps on rust when I drop the res down to 990p or even 80 fps on 900p overall buy a old Dell optiplex for 50-100$ then spend another 80-120$ to get you the same PC but no RGB, RGB doesn't. Mean more proformace trust me rx550 are pretty cheap I got mine for 70$
Would u recommend this pc? I’ve been trying to find a prebuilt that’s not gonna break the bank but I’m also willing to update any parts if need be like u said in ur comment but I’m pretty new to this pc stuff so idk if it’s like worth buying it or if I should keep looking for something else 😓
@@brynn1642 I would say yes it's a good deal but get a rx580 and upgrade the CPU to a i7 4790 or a 4790k

Seems to imply that there are other choices.
no, that's the base/turbo frequencies. How do I know? I have an i5-4590. Select from... one processor choice.
I saw this PC on Amazon and I've been playing project zomboid on my laptop with an i3 integrated graphics and 8gb of ram I think this will do well
would this be ok for someone who just goz on youtube and stuff and have a recording interface for doing my music?
Quick question is it a complete pc with everything like the fans and motherboard and stuff like that??
Yes
What pc would everybody suggest to get for live streaming xbox gameplay to twitch and youtube simultaneously?
I'm in the UK. The link for the $350 pc took me to a PC costing £2,799.96. That was when I stopped the video 2 minutes in and wrote this comment before changing channels.
Can you upgrade this computer with a 4070 or would I need a bigger power supply?? I’m new at this
I got this pc for Christmas. I was wondering what I would need to replace or buy to make this updated enough for newer games anyone have any advice ?

GTX 660 is better than this card
Yo toasty bros can you tell me did I do an goo upgrade I used to have and i5 4th gen and the gtx 480 so after 2 years I upgraded to an rx 5600xt and an ryzen 5 3600 what do you think 😅😊
would the (I7/RX 5700 8G) bundle be a better option to run games such as rust and cod?
Not really interested in gaming, but I need a good computer for video editing and processing. Are any gaming PCs good for that?
Really depends on what software you are using cuz some pcs with xeon work better than the I series but some softwares work better with I series. But for high workloads xeon would work better
Can u pair an rtx based card with a 4th gen i7? Will be waist of money or will it game ok
Is this a case? If it is did you guys have to put stuff in it to get it working? Or were you guys able to play it like that.
It comes with all the parts
Comes woth all the parts installed
I'm getting the same exact PC I'm so excited it's gonna be my first PC
Might want to start looking at ways to upgrade it

(Just learning about pcs)
Are you recording using the pc like is that how the pc records?
Hi, I don’t know much about pc but I want to buy one to get my gaming on the next level so is this worth it?
i was able to semi build my own pc, you could buy a cheap pc for 60-80 then upgrade it with ram, storage, and gpu, then soon enough you get a better psu, next move is better motherboard and cpu, or better and nicer case, boom you ended up with a really good gaming pc for under $400 or $500
Didn’t know it was on . Thanks for sharing that . 🤔
A relative of mine bought me a gaming PC bundle from Ebay about 2 years ago, used it last year it was doing fine and used it this year again however it was doing fine until the 3rd attempt of testing the PC out it stopped working went blue screen death and won’t repair or fix itself and won’t actually restart either neither options seem to work whatsoever
The monitor was terribly small and seemingly outdated while the PC seemed alright so far however didn’t know what was wrong from it it also was also on sale since 2019 with hundreds of saved folders from 2019 that didn’t work either and I couldn’t play particular games like Minecraft with addon mods nor download them without any issues due to the settings and softwares preventing me from playing games and the screen opening to the PC looked like a regular work computer not a gaming one
The rest that came with the bundle worked fine so far except for the USB which didn’t seem to activate anything and I couldn’t use a disc that came with it since my PC lacked a internal or external disc device part.
Would this explode if a ran my modded out 50+ expansion pack sim game ? I only play the sims and don’t want anything supper fancy
I have a series x but I would love a starter gaming pc. These local stores around me don’t sell gaming pcs.
intel i3 12100f
gtx 1650 super / rx 570 or rx 580
16 gigs of ddr 4 ram ( 2 x 8 )
( the ram i use is corsair lpx its really nice )
get a good but affordable motherboard and for the love of god dont cheap out on your power supply and thats it.
I've just check ( 7th July 2023), in the uk its now went up to like 2k 😭😭
Can you guys try out the Lenovo yoga 6 laptop cuz it runs some games pretty well also I want to know if these games run well on it
I think 3.0/3.1 usb isn't wired correctly or isn't supported on knockoff motherboards
I’m buying this pc soon what do I have to do to get it fully working😅
What would be a better deal for $300? Asking because you said that it's fair for $300. So what would be better for the same price?
It's fair cause of new mobo and ssd. Rest is used. Getting an optiplex and upgrading with some cheap graphics card. Etc
Did you tell us what generation the CPU is? Did I miss it?
it was an i5 4590 so 4th gen.
Now you can get a 5500 for like $120 would it be worth that upgrade?
No just save and get a 6600 or higher 6600 comes out to 200 bucks which it runs as a rtx 3060ti
What parts should ppl who buy it upgrade and what should the pieces be for a little more moneh

System will come with a 4th generation I5 or I7, which is more then a decade old and has recently met it's "End of Servicing Updates" (Wednesday, June 30, 2021),. expect it to be a paperweight come Windows 12 or so,. Memory can only use DDR3-1600,.. while we're now on DDR5.. and you'd be capped at 32gb (its the most the processor will support). Is it worth $300? Sorta-ish,. $300 now and then a get forced into total rehaul in a year or two- or just spend $2000 or less building something current, that should last the next 10-20 years...
Could you upgrade the cpu and gpu on this PC?
