@andr3w_496 *most* prebuilts on Amazon arent the greatest value. 90% of the time MC prebuilts are great value, IMO people interested should still look into building so they can learn something new
$608 for that prebuilt was a killer deal. Microcenter is the best. I love building PCs, but their pre-builts are so fairly priced, it's hard to not just take the easy way out.
Every MicroCenter ad makes me miss Frys even more :(. It makes me miss living in Texas and having both so I could walk in and play around like a kid in a toy store with staff that are awesome and clued in.
I used to love going to frys and it had a weird feel. I would go in 2018-2019 and they would have all the latest stuff and old stuff too. Ie ps4 pro demo next to ps3 demo. And Steve Jobs era iTunes gift cards
You sound like me. I grew up in Austin and there was always a Fry's in north Austin/Almost Roundrock. I did so much pc upgrading at fry's. I live in Denver now with a MicroCenter 20 minutes away. But my family still Lives in Texas and anytime they want PC upgrades they gotta drive 2-3 hours which all things considered isn't bad. We miss Fry's 😥
My girl and I were going thru some issues and we would go to fry’s for sandwiches and tech shopping almost every weekend . It helped, it was a mood. I still got a camera I bought there 😊
Mine was in Dallas, then I went and moved to Scotland, our "pc retailer" is a joke and whatever current market prices are they mark it up 20% and no clued in staff or good vibes here. @@legenarylemon
I have a Micro Center just over an hour away from me, taking toll roads. And I am damn happy about that. That dude that helped with the pre-built was very helpful (they all are) and funny.
I love how these guys are doing the boots on the ground work for us. Mostly for newer or budget minded gamers, but I appreciate how much you guys are looking out for the people.
@@D4NM00DYmuch respect for micro center not trying to booty blast wallets, most other retailers would sell it with like-new prices and shitty swapped out parts
That's actually my local microcenter! And I just walked out with a powerspec G518 for my buddy as a gift and looked it up on youtube when I got home and seen this!
I’m about to go buy an open box. Was super nervous about the open box but this video made me feel so much better with my decision. The mark down on the pc is absolutely insane. The specs are even more insane.
I've been a Tustin MC shopper since 1995! There was also a neat little shop right around the corner at Redhill and Edinger but I think they closed. They used to sell us Cyrix chips when there were tons of x86 options until Intel intro'd MMX technology.
Bruh your sales rep Dan was the same one I used in Cinci the other day! He was awesome thought I was gonna be there for hours building a PC for my son, he showed me a PowerSpec pre built that was $300 off, from like $1299 to $899 & a super nice Nitro monitor curved HDR 1440p, I was in & out in 30 mins! That dude is awesome forsure
I'm patiently waiting for the Charlotte store to open up since it's only 90ish miles from me compared to the 2 Atlanta stores that are over 150 miles away
604 for a 4060, 12400F, 1TB and a B760M is an insane value. I built a friend with some similarly spec’d used parts (12400F, 3060 12GB, 1TB SATA, B660) and the MC system is only like $100-ish more. Props to MC.
wow. the pre-build price is amazing. $300 for the GPU and $300 for rest of the computer. wow !! Love Microcenter. Been loyal customer for more than a decade.
Microcenter open box deals can be really good. I've bough at a few really nice $150 PC cases for like $50-$60 and some DDR4 RAM for super cheap. You're always rolling the dice on getting a bad part but I haven't been personally bitten yet.
You should try this virtually in the UK market you may be pleasantly surprised at how much we get screwed on prices in the UK . I wish we had a micro centre at there prices
Microcenter was my first job out of college back in the late 90s. The PowerSpec brand back then was about using the cheapest shittiest components. They have come so far. Their pricing is great
