I love your video! I am the 58 year old guy just starting iracing , no computer guy. Need iracing videos to start set up for the steering wheel buttons on a G29/920 , and what do you use the buttons for? Video for how to enter iracing start a ghost race, Video how enter/find a race, practice, qualified, then race. Iracing made videos do not tell how to race!!! Even the time on the iracing page don't match real time? I don't get the start time? That is sad Iracing can not do a better job helping new people step by step. FYI the only video gaming I owned was "Pong" from the 70's, Thank you David

You don’t have to use any of the buttons. You can set them up later if you feel like it. For your first couple seasons it wouldn’t be realistic to have buttons on your steering wheel anyway. The iRacing website isn’t the best, but you’ll get the hang of it. Keep watching RUclips videos.
Man, thanks alot for your videos! Everything in iRacing seems to cost something and it's difficult and overwhelming to start playing this game (I've just started a week ago), kinda discouraging even.... But you've really made it all easier with your FFB video and these setups. Please continue making videos and sharing because at least for me, you've made me stay with iRacing for now at least, I would've just left

Hi David. First off massive thank you for documenting your journey through iRacing :) I last raced in iRacing in 2014! I've been wanting to return for a long time but life/work has not permitted this. Now we are all in lockdown I jumped at the chance to get back in. I've spent the last week working my way through your Vids and seriously loving them, especially the tutorial vids. Lots of information presented very clearly so thanks. Keep up the good work and hopefully see you on the track soon :)

Hey David, almost as long as I play iRacing, I am struggling with loading my downloaded setups with Sync Setup to load these setups in iRacing. Every time I want to load a sto file, it fails to be used directly. Then I have to adjust lots of thing to pass the 'IRacing-setup-jury', but then my setup is as slow as a snail, if you know what I mean. Pffff. The baseline setup is always unbelievably much quicker.. I am looking everywhere for help but I can't find other I-racers with this problem. Getting a little desperate here in this cold little country, hope you or anyone else who is reading this and recognize and maybe understands my problem, can and wants to help me.. Great video's you make by the way, thanks a lot for especialy the tips and tricks video's, they rock.. Cheers and greetings from Holland, Art.

I bought one from VRS for the supra at Michigan and the qaul setup was a moon tone! lol
just a heads-up setup sync no longer is supported by the developer and is down for the foreseeable future

Yeh seems to be down a lot, check out setups4i.racing/ for now.
Tried to down load the I racing sync it downloaded ok then when you go to open it it tries to update and fails any suggestion

I went to that iRacing setup sync and seems to be a year or 2 out of date there is no supra in the database.
annoyingly Barcelona isnt there.. and thats what im searching for!!

nope.. Still runs great. Sometimes the provider is down. It's a free app..

How did you paste the setup in the iRacing setup folder? I’m new to desktops and stuff trying to learn shortcuts. Thanks.
Once you download a setup, open explorer and navigate to your downloads folder. Cut the setup and now navigate explorer to 'My Documents' look for iRacing folder, inside that setups, then pick the car the setup is for and paste it in that folder

As far as I can the service is down. I have the software installed and it is no longer working! Big shame.
i just did this to a t, everything worked as it should except it says right height too high??
Glad it helped. What car? Probably an out of date setup. Things change every season.
