Another one that I found for saving FPS, is the Higher Detail in Mirrors setting. I've experienced it, and have noted others that have, where that setting enabled can almost cut your frame rate in half. Definitely one to remember!

On shift horizon, it can be adjust in the mirror black box, and as off the new 2021S2 build, it will display a red line across the screen for a brief moment when adjusted on the fly. This is useful because you can line the red line up with your eyeballs, and takes a lot of guess work out.
Hi David! In you latest video you also talked about Shift Horizon. If zero is eyes in middle of screen. What is eyes under the middle of screen? Positive or negative numbers?
Great video (as always)! Quick question - do you have tips on what race sessions / categories are worth doing, and which ones to avoid, for road racing? I am trying to go for a more open wheel career, currently at D class (with 3.7 safety rating, so I guess I`ll be promoted soon), but so far all the Skip Barber races I have been, for example, were a carnage fest. I couldn`t finish a single race without getting destroyed by someone divebombing into me.... very, very frustrating. Formula Renault 2.0 is a very fun one, but usually I get groups of like 12 people,, 13 at most, so not very popular.... anything would be appreciated!
Hi Dave, Great vid on the tips and ctricks, they've been really useful especially as I'm new to Iracing (nearrly 3 months in). Does Iracing have a tiime acceleration feature for instance you run for 60 mins but then its tells you how much fuel used or tyre degregation based on say 3 hour stint?
Brilliant tips, thank you. One question I have in the review replay section when you are adjusting the camera etc how do you then remove the UI from the screen so it’s just the view? (Remove the play pause buttons etc )
Hey, you can map a button through the controls option in iracing. So where you can change things like "thanks" and "sorry"... map one with #cleartires. Then to add them back in add another mapped button to #lf rf lr rr Head over to Davids Discord, load of people over there which can help with this stuff.
