I swear it takes ageing to truly appreciate Rosalie's character. When I was 12 i thought she was just a frosty bitch. Now I'm 22 I understand her traumatised, bitter, strong woman she is. She was betrayed, assaulted, left for dead. Her life its dreams, possibilities, family and the chance of a family all gone. Then she see's Bella willingly throwing away the humanity she so desperately longs for. It would piss me off too.
Yea Bella was so immature, I can see why Rosalie was annoyed with her. Bella’s personality eventually became an obsession/infatuation with Edward in these middle movies. She had no hobbies, no personality, no passions or desires outside of Edward. Both Edward and Bella’s existence and reason for living depended on each other. Yes Team Rosalie all the way! I can understand why she's so mad at Bella for wanting to give up her human life and why she protects the unborn Renesmee so fiercely. She can never be a mother but she sure as hell is a dedicated aunt.

Well, she's being truthful - she doesn't hate Bella. What she hates is the decision Bella made to turn her back on a normal human life, because from Rosalie's viewpoint, Bella has everything Rosalie desperately wanted but never got, and is just throwing it all away. They're different things.

The real driving force for her attitude and actions is her longing for a husband and family, and her consequent resentment of Bella, who has everything that Rose wanted but is throwing it all away - or at least that's how Rose perceives it. It's in portraying those aspects of the character where Nikki Reed comes into her own.

I guess it's not fair to compare Bella / Twilight to other contemporary books . It's fantasy yes but truly it's a love story . Juliet knows Romeo only for few days when she marries him and afterwards kills herself . When Romeo is banished she literally thinks she would rather have both her parents dead than Romeo banished . Still Romeo and Juliet is considered such a great love story . Bella is better than that at least.. She cared about parents enough . She was ready to sacrifice herself for her mother in the first book .. She's not all selfish . Yeah she got all dependent on Edward etc . And that's not something a normal modern girl of this age would do .. But Bella was ready to die for Edward many times .. at the hands of Volturi .. She was ready to risk a gruesome death for him ... And he was ready to die for her . Which is not how teenagers of this age love either .. There's nothing to learn from Twilight , Bella is not supposed to be a role model.. Just like there's nothing to learn from Romeo and Juliet except the author's assertion that True Love is beyond any rules and whatever shit ... You don't have to believe it and accept it as only truth . It's only one way to look at things .. If the characters of Twilight are unrealistic and shallow then so are the characters of Romeo and Juliet . And I don't see anyone criticizing Romeo and Juliet for being suicidal or selfish or unhealthily obsessed with each other , or not caring a bit about their parents . Only because Twilight is contemporary one could not expect Bella to be like contemporary and modern , emotionally independent women . Her insecurity about her looks and obsession about good looks are lot more cringe than her relationship with Edward ... I haven't read a shallower character .
I would totally watch a short twilight series were each episode highlights a differ Cullen's backstory. Starting with Carlisle's. Which may take more than a few episodes. His ends when he turns Edward. Then we follow Edward watching his mother dying and waking up to see Carlisle has saved him. Follow Esme down to the cliff cut to back when she opens her eyes to see Edward and Carlisle. Rosalie's will follow her life before and after being turned ending with Royce's blood spray on her wedding gown. Jasper's life may take a few episodes ending when he walks in and sees Alice waiting for him. Then we'll follow her through her battle with her visions in a poorly run asylum. Perhaps try to guess just who exactly turns her. A doctor? A nurse? A patient? Waking up in a graveyard staring at her tombstone but seeing the future clearly for the first time. Know her life was going to be so much better from then on. Timeline wise I'm not sure where Emmett comes in. Perhaps he longs to see the world outside the hills he was born into. A couple of episodes about their travels. A few episodes of Edward's hunter days would be kewl. Where he listened in on the thoughts of murderers and rapists and slaughtered them before they could hurt again. Just one short season ending when Carlisle comes in to tell them he's gotten a new job at a hospital in Forks.
Ok, this would've made a REALLY interesting movie right here. The story of a woman who turns into a vampire and hunts down her rapists? WAY more interesting than two teenagers blandly complimenting each other while everyone else does the work around them.
They should really make another movie just focusing on the Cullen's back story! I would love that! The only back story the explain in the series of movies is Edward, Rosalie, and Jasper. They don't talk about Esme killing herself after losing her child or Emmet being malled by a bear or Alice being locked in an asylum and having to go through shock therapy while everyone she knew pretended she was dead. Plus we know that Carlisle changed most of them but who changed him? The movie would be a hit!
Bella Kok carlisle father was some kind of witch or demon hunter i think. carlisle was helping hunt down a deranged vampire in the middle ages and went down into the sewers and got attacked from what i can remember

Mending Wall That’s not what Rosalie’s main focus was. She talked about how her life was frozen, she was stuck in a reoccurring cycle. Rosalie isn’t scolding Bella for not wanting kids, she’s scolding her for so willingly putting her life on hold for someone else.

The only movie that nailed Rosalie's look! Every other movie had Rosalie looking a mess. The book describes her has being perfect polished. The other movies did her no justice.

Technically she didn't tear him up. She made it clear that she was super careful not to spill his blood so that she wouldn't be tempted. She and Carlisle are the only 2 in the coven who haven't tasted human blood.

The best scene in the entire series is when she busts through that door and makes him whimper. Amazing visual especially the bridal getup. These movies are background noise while I'm writing things or doing hobby related stuff. They aren't bad because of moments like these.
My favorite part of rosalie's retrospect was when she says " I was a little theatrical back then". The shine in her eyes and her wounded smile was priceless. The ones who raped her deserved every bit of her histrionics in how she dealt with them. Rosalie is my favorite character in the saga. Her smile reminds me of the cat from Alice in wonderland. It draws you in.
I like how they also gave her fiancé a bottle at the end, to show he hadn’t changed and he was still a drunkard. But now he wasn’t drinking out of joy or addiction, it was fear and anxiety

Welp, at least she's honest. It's true that she doesn't hate Bella - she hates the decision that Bella is making. And I really don't blame her for not liking Bella, because Bella is a threat to her family. In Twilight she is worried that Bella will expose them as vampires, then in Eclipse she knows that the Volturi will kill them if Bella remains human. I'd be pissed too.
Captain Marvel Wilson they honestly have everything against the cullens. (I’ll try to avoid using a “in the books” standpoint). But if you look throughout all the movies and out everything together it enhances what is frequently reiterated in the books. The Romanians from Breaking Dawn part 2 hate the Volturi because all they do is sit around and make strict laws and dictate and decay on their thrones. The volturi is strict. Later in this movie when they plead to Jane to spare Bree she says that the Volturi don’t give second chances. Technically there’s laws around the interaction of humans and vampires and the Volturi do not like being undermined. They want to be feared. They want to be respected. The longer they let the Cullens keep Bella as human makes the Volturi look weak and soft. More so, the Volturi (and it shows by their company) love to recruit the most talented vampires. Hence Jane for her gift of pain, her twin Alec for his gift to numb sensations, Demetry and his gift of tracking, Felix and his strength. The Volturi and Aro specifically have been wanting to recruit Edward and Alice for ever and never can, that’s why Aro is always so happy to see Alice because she can see visions and it’s even more of a reason that they don’t harm the Cullens. They’d be wasting talent they hope to one day have at their side.
It sucks when so many people say Twilight isn't a good series. I mean yeah it could've been put together with more detail, but someone worked hard on this, and I think the author and the director did a great job with the characters. You watch the movie scenes and you could almost FEEL what they're feeling but you feel it more in the books. It's a great series.
There were times when Stephanie Meyer wrote cringe-y lines and metaphors, but there were other times when she really went into a deeper level of writing with a lot of character development.

Humanoide #707 Rosalie could adopt, and she can die, just not in a predictable fashion. She could explore Mars, the moon, the deep sea. She can do extremely dangerous work (for humans) and die knowing she helped humanity. This could also be a superhero movie. Maybe the Cullens can make a pact where they agree to kill each other after a certain amount of years that they pick from a hat but the other doesn’t know how many years they have left, for the sake of their mental health

I love how the books and movies were like “Hate Rosalie! She doesn’t want Bella to be happy as a vampire with Edward!” And then the whole fandom collectively went “she’s a smol bean and we love her with everything we have”
People who hated Rosalie or any character in any fandom will usually never admit they did once realizing that its not beneficial to do so. She's now being seen as more than just an angry and shallow pretty girl. Because she's now seen as a victim and a sympathetic rational but hypocritical person. Its no different than people admitting they were in the wrong. Nobody likes to be wrong or be seen in a negative light. I hated her, sharing experiences with a fictional character makes you realize you're not so different. I just don't have the immortality or want to wear a wedding dress and murder.

Rosalie's character alone makes the whole bella-edward-forever-love thing crappy. She is so so mature. While this vampire thing seems so fascinating, her character brings in the reality, the human part, the necessity of a moving life, and kind of destroys the lovey-dovey concept portrayed in the movie

Stephenie Meyer could make so much money writing prequel books. Even if they never made it to the big screen again, they’d sell out. “The Host” was amazing, she can write well. She has a basis for the characters already. My inner 13yr old heart really hopes it’ll come true some day.

Okay, so this is what I heard-I think Stephanie herself said it. Once a vampire falls in love, they'll always be in love. When Rosalie said FROZEN in this scene, that's how it works with love for them. Who they're in love with-will be the people they'll be in love with forever. I found a slight problem with this, but if that's what Stephanie said then I guess we just gotta go with it.
@@Nai-robi0871 In the guide book she wrote she explained it. They are frozen. Everything about them freezes after they change, their physical appearance, their personality. She said not much can change about them so when there is a change like love that also freezes so they love forever.
So if they freeze and not much about them can change how can a vampire fall in love once they are changed? Since Edward falls in love with Bella and in the last movie it seemed like a male vampire they know falls in love with their vampire cousin.
I think the reason intended or not.. Is to bring the two clans together through the child... That's why Bella has these two guys after her.. Its fated.. Non of it accidental. The relationships had to happen as they did to make that world a better place... Also I have met plenty of people who seemed to be "nothing special" and always have guys fighting over them. I can say without a doubt that this was the best part of the franchise We got this empty nothingness of a girl with two abusive boyfriends when we could’ve had Rosalie hunting down her rapists

I agree actually I enjoyed more the Twilight saga on the books than in the films because there were parts of the book that wasn't put or even explored in the movies don't judge me I like the movies but if I have to choose between the Twilight Saga and The Vampire Diaries I will go with The Vampire Diaries honestly. One more thing yes I found Bella annoying as much as Elena of The Vampire Diaries. I like more Katherine than Elena.
Yes they do wind up liking each other in the books. Sure Rosalie was spoiled and vain when she was human, but all she really wanted was to have a husband and children. Really, it's no wonder she didn't like Bella, because from her viewpoint, Bella had the chance to have a human husband and lead the ordinary human life that Rosalie so wished for, and just thrown the opportunity away. They do become friends once Bella understands where Rosalie is coming from, and Rosalie gets to be an aunt if not a mother.
Bella explains in the last book that Rosalie finally came around after having Renesmee. She said that she finally did something that Rosalie would have done if she had been in her shoes.

once you're a vampire you're frozen- personality, appearance, who you're in love with. none of that ever changes so technically they'll never fall out of love
Its funny because Rosalie notices that Bella makes the exact same mistake she once did. Edward wanted Bella for one thing, her blood was more appealing than any other human, he isn't exactly hiding that fact either. Bella feels special and is in love with the attention and the fact that Edward is singling her out despite being so many levels "above" her. The love is one sided. Bella has no redeeming qualities other than her blood, Edward has basically nothing special left after he turns Bella into a vampire and lifts her up to his level. Notice how in Twilight Breaking Dawn 2, Edward is nothing but a plot device, the big, attractive mystery of a character is just gone. Rosalie knows exactly that this love isn't justified and that at the end of the day, Edward wanted Bella to stay human for her blood and Bella wanted to enjoy being a vampire, like the naive, dumb girl she is.
Rosalie isnt very logical either. She admitted when she met Royce she was in love with the idea of being in love and he was the most eligible bachelor in town. She wanted emmet changed simply because he looked like her friends son. At the end of the book, bella opens her mind to edward for the first time and he can see the love was real
It is a curious thing, how she managed to torture Royce and her other attackers, because Rosalie states in the book that she did it bloodlessly because she knew if she drew blood, she wouldn’t have been able to control herself, and she didn’t want any part of them inside her. It’s a canon fact that she’s never drank human blood.
Unfortunately the book doesn't really go into any detail about exactly what she did to them, except that she took Her time doing it (as Rosalie says "He screamed when he saw me. He screamed a lot that night.") and that she took care not to spill their blood. Dislocated every joint and broke every bone one by one, perhaps?
Rosalie's n Alice's story intrigues me the most among Cullen's. I wish we could have gotten some sort of spin off on just Cullen's back stories... including of course Jasper's struggle, Carlisle's self discipline, Esme's pain & Emmet's bear fight that he always hold a grudge about.
I remember reading Eclipse as a child and not understanding she was raped. As a character when I see this scene as well as New Moon where she states she doesn't want that life and wished someone would vote no for her. I can't help but feel for Carlisle and Emment during that scene. Carlisle sees the Cullens as his children. So imagine him hearing his daughter say she hated the decesion he made to save her life. Imagine not regretting his decesion to save her but feeling guilt she was unahppy. Imagine Emment hearing her say if her life had a happy ending she wouldn't be alive, and that she wouldn't have chosen this life she has with Emment. I always feel he doesn't regret Carlisles decesion to save her. Still must be hard for them to here. No doubt the trauma of her rape affected her years later and I don't think she regretted being with Emment or a part of the Cullen Family. I'd like to think getting to help care for Rennesme helped her heal. I remember in the books Rosalie and Alice spoiled her with clothes and took pictures everyday. While Alice did not really desire for a baby like Rosalie, I'd imagine it would be wonderful to have a child to help care for. Just hoping Leah would get her chance! Perhaps with Nessie who would be her step niece if Charlie married her mother.
It's funny all of these people are vampires because they died a tragic death while human and bella is kinda spitting in their faces saying hey that looks like fun i would love to be a vampire idk why you guys look so sad. It's like wanting the last slice of pizza super bad but your sibling takes it and just throws it in the trash.
Rosalie, Alice, even Victoria were all much prettier than Bella. I'm not saying Bella is ugly, but she's not all that for two hot guys to be fighting over. On top of that, her personality is dull.

Bella only got interesting after being turned into a vampire, which I think is kinda one of the points of Bella’s story. That she was always meant to be a vampire. That’s why her human life/personality seemed so boring, because that wasn’t who she truly was.

Contrary to detractors’ claims, Kristen Stewart has great acting instances. Like this. Bella Swan is nonconfrontational. 1:05-1:10 Stewart nailed Swan’s hesitation in confronting Rosalie Hale, 1:11 her determination (if she’s to be a part of the Olympic coven, she’ll have to deal with Hale’s attitude towards her, once and for all) and 3:43 her empathy upon learning Hale’s past.
I love how twillight has such shitty main characters, but such interesting and original secondary characters. Rosalie's, Carlisle's, Jasper's and Alice's background story is far superior than the main plot. hahahaha

I swear it takes ageing to truly appreciate Rosalie's character. When I was 12 i thought she was just a frosty bitch. Now I'm 22 I understand her traumatised, bitter, strong woman she is. She was betrayed, assaulted, left for dead. Her life its dreams, possibilities, family and the chance of a family all gone. Then she see's Bella willingly throwing away the humanity she so desperately longs for. It would piss me off too.

It's in portraying those aspects of the character where Nikki Reed comes into her own.

Juliet knows Romeo only for few days when she marries him and afterwards kills herself . When Romeo is banished she literally thinks she would rather have both her parents dead than Romeo banished . Still Romeo and Juliet is considered such a great love story . Bella is better than that at least.. She cared about parents enough . She was ready to sacrifice herself for her mother in the first book .. She's not all selfish . Yeah she got all dependent on Edward etc . And that's not something a normal modern girl of this age would do .. But Bella was ready to die for Edward many times .. at the hands of Volturi .. She was ready to risk a gruesome death for him ... And he was ready to die for her . Which is not how teenagers of this age love either .. There's nothing to learn from Twilight , Bella is not supposed to be a role model.. Just like there's nothing to learn from Romeo and Juliet except the author's assertion that True Love is beyond any rules and whatever shit ... You don't have to believe it and accept it as only truth . It's only one way to look at things ..
If the characters of Twilight are unrealistic and shallow then so are the characters of Romeo and Juliet . And I don't see anyone criticizing Romeo and Juliet for being suicidal or selfish or unhealthily obsessed with each other , or not caring a bit about their parents . I would totally watch a short twilight series were each episode highlights a differ Cullen's backstory. Starting with Carlisle's. Which may take more than a few episodes. His ends when he turns Edward. Then we follow Edward watching his mother dying and waking up to see Carlisle has saved him. Follow Esme down to the cliff cut to back when she opens her eyes to see Edward and Carlisle. Rosalie's will follow her life before and after being turned ending with Royce's blood spray on her wedding gown. Jasper's life may take a few episodes ending when he walks in and sees Alice waiting for him. Then we'll follow her through her battle with her visions in a poorly run asylum. Perhaps try to guess just who exactly turns her. A doctor? A nurse? A patient? Waking up in a graveyard staring at her tombstone but seeing the future clearly for the first time. Know her life was going to be so much better from then on. Timeline wise I'm not sure where Emmett comes in. Perhaps he longs to see the world outside the hills he was born into. A couple of episodes about their travels. A few episodes of Edward's hunter days would be kewl. Where he listened in on the thoughts of murderers and rapists and slaughtered them before they could hurt again. Just one short season ending when Carlisle comes in to tell them he's gotten a new job at a hospital in Forks.
And after that a season two with the volturis

The best scene in the entire series is when she busts through that door and makes him whimper. Amazing visual especially the bridal getup. These movies are background noise while I'm writing things or doing hobby related stuff. They aren't bad because of moments like these.

Welp, at least she's honest. It's true that she doesn't hate Bella - she hates the decision that Bella is making. And I really don't blame her for not liking Bella, because Bella is a threat to her family. In Twilight she is worried that Bella will expose them as vampires, then in Eclipse she knows that the Volturi will kill them if Bella remains human. I'd be pissed too.
You just summed up the things that don’t make sense in this franchise. What is it that the Volturi have against the Cullens when Bella is human.
Captain Marvel Wilson they honestly have everything against the cullens. (I’ll try to avoid using a “in the books” standpoint). But if you look throughout all the movies and out everything together it enhances what is frequently reiterated in the books. The Romanians from Breaking Dawn part 2 hate the Volturi because all they do is sit around and make strict laws and dictate and decay on their thrones. The volturi is strict. Later in this movie when they plead to Jane to spare Bree she says that the Volturi don’t give second chances. Technically there’s laws around the interaction of humans and vampires and the Volturi do not like being undermined. They want to be feared. They want to be respected. The longer they let the Cullens keep Bella as human makes the Volturi look weak and soft. More so, the Volturi (and it shows by their company) love to recruit the most talented vampires. Hence Jane for her gift of pain, her twin Alec for his gift to numb sensations, Demetry and his gift of tracking, Felix and his strength. The Volturi and Aro specifically have been wanting to recruit Edward and Alice for ever and never can, that’s why Aro is always so happy to see Alice because she can see visions and it’s even more of a reason that they don’t harm the Cullens. They’d be wasting talent they hope to one day have at their side.

It sucks when so many people say Twilight isn't a good series. I mean yeah it could've been put together with more detail, but someone worked hard on this, and I think the author and the director did a great job with the characters. You watch the movie scenes and you could almost FEEL what they're feeling but you feel it more in the books. It's a great series.

Rosalie's character alone makes the whole bella-edward-forever-love thing crappy. She is so so mature. While this vampire thing seems so fascinating, her character brings in the reality, the human part, the necessity of a moving life, and kind of destroys the lovey-dovey concept portrayed in the movie

Stephenie Meyer could make so much money writing prequel books. Even if they never made it to the big screen again, they’d sell out. “The Host” was amazing, she can write well. She has a basis for the characters already. My inner 13yr old heart really hopes it’ll come true some day.

Okay, so this is what I heard-I think Stephanie herself said it. Once a vampire falls in love, they'll always be in love. When Rosalie said FROZEN in this scene, that's how it works with love for them. Who they're in love with-will be the people they'll be in love with forever. I found a slight problem with this, but if that's what Stephanie said then I guess we just gotta go with it.
@@Nai-robi0871 In the guide book she wrote she explained it. They are frozen. Everything about them freezes after they change, their physical appearance, their personality. She said not much can change about them so when there is a change like love that also freezes so they love forever.
So if they freeze and not much about them can change how can a vampire fall in love once they are changed? Since Edward falls in love with Bella and in the last movie it seemed like a male vampire they know falls in love with their vampire cousin.
I think the reason intended or not.. Is to bring the two clans together through the child... That's why Bella has these two guys after her.. Its fated.. Non of it accidental. The relationships had to happen as they did to make that world a better place... Also I have met plenty of people who seemed to be "nothing special" and always have guys fighting over them. Yes they do wind up liking each other in the books. Sure Rosalie was spoiled and vain when she was human, but all she really wanted was to have a husband and children. Really, it's no wonder she didn't like Bella, because from her viewpoint, Bella had the chance to have a human husband and lead the ordinary human life that Rosalie so wished for, and just thrown the opportunity away. They do become friends once Bella understands where Rosalie is coming from, and Rosalie gets to be an aunt if not a mother.
Bella explains in the last book that Rosalie finally came around after having Renesmee. She said that she finally did something that Rosalie would have done if she had been in her shoes.
She has such a good story telling voice.

Its funny because Rosalie notices that Bella makes the exact same mistake she once did. Edward wanted Bella for one thing, her blood was more appealing than any other human, he isn't exactly hiding that fact either. Bella feels special and is in love with the attention and the fact that Edward is singling her out despite being so many levels "above" her. The love is one sided.
Bella has no redeeming qualities other than her blood, Edward has basically nothing special left after he turns Bella into a vampire and lifts her up to his level. Notice how in Twilight Breaking Dawn 2, Edward is nothing but a plot device, the big, attractive mystery of a character is just gone.
Rosalie knows exactly that this love isn't justified and that at the end of the day, Edward wanted Bella to stay human for her blood and Bella wanted to enjoy being a vampire, like the naive, dumb girl she is.
Rosalie isnt very logical either. She admitted when she met Royce she was in love with the idea of being in love and he was the most eligible bachelor in town. She wanted emmet changed simply because he looked like her friends son. At the end of the book, bella opens her mind to edward for the first time and he can see the love was real

It is a curious thing, how she managed to torture Royce and her other attackers, because Rosalie states in the book that she did it bloodlessly because she knew if she drew blood, she wouldn’t have been able to control herself, and she didn’t want any part of them inside her. It’s a canon fact that she’s never drank human blood.
Unfortunately the book doesn't really go into any detail about exactly what she did to them, except that she took Her time doing it (as Rosalie says "He screamed when he saw me. He screamed a lot that night.") and that she took care not to spill their blood. Dislocated every joint and broke every bone one by one, perhaps?
Rosalie's n Alice's story intrigues me the most among Cullen's. I wish we could have gotten some sort of spin off on just Cullen's back stories... including of course Jasper's struggle, Carlisle's self discipline, Esme's pain & Emmet's bear fight that he always hold a grudge about.
I remember reading Eclipse as a child and not understanding she was raped. As a character when I see this scene as well as New Moon where she states she doesn't want that life and wished someone would vote no for her. I can't help but feel for Carlisle and Emment during that scene. Carlisle sees the Cullens as his children. So imagine him hearing his daughter say she hated the decesion he made to save her life. Imagine not regretting his decesion to save her but feeling guilt she was unahppy. Imagine Emment hearing her say if her life had a happy ending she wouldn't be alive, and that she wouldn't have chosen this life she has with Emment. I always feel he doesn't regret Carlisles decesion to save her. Still must be hard for them to here.
No doubt the trauma of her rape affected her years later and I don't think she regretted being with Emment or a part of the Cullen Family. I'd like to think getting to help care for Rennesme helped her heal. I remember in the books Rosalie and Alice spoiled her with clothes and took pictures everyday. While Alice did not really desire for a baby like Rosalie, I'd imagine it would be wonderful to have a child to help care for. Just hoping Leah would get her chance! Perhaps with Nessie who would be her step niece if Charlie married her mother.

Bella only got interesting after being turned into a vampire, which I think is kinda one of the points of Bella’s story. That she was always meant to be a vampire. That’s why her human life/personality seemed so boring, because that wasn’t who she truly was.

Contrary to detractors’ claims, Kristen Stewart has great acting instances. Like this. Bella Swan is nonconfrontational. 1:05-1:10 Stewart nailed Swan’s hesitation in confronting Rosalie Hale, 1:11 her determination (if she’s to be a part of the Olympic coven, she’ll have to deal with Hale’s attitude towards her, once and for all) and 3:43 her empathy upon learning Hale’s past.
I love how twillight has such shitty main characters, but such interesting and original secondary characters.
