What's interesting is at the begining of the movie Edward says that Aro has no respect for humanity. Take that as you will. But he believes they're superior to humans. To say what he said and to call Edward soulless was just so manipulative. He only knows that because he got in Edward's head and it's all just a game. He doesn't truly believe or i can bet care about humans. He just finds Bella and Edwards dynamic amusing
I would say however that the law of the volturi is completely vital to the existence of humans in a vampire world. It's pretty much the only thing stopping most vampires from killing whole cities if they wanted to.
I remember when they introduced us to who they had cast to play the Volturi for the movie, and they said that Michael Sheen had been cast as Aro, I thought for that character the casting could not have been better and over and over he just knocked it out of the park with Aro.

@@org6760Idk why this comment motivated me to continue writing my story. Somehow hearing a successful franchise like this started with a girl at home who just wanted to write a story she liked fills me with hope. It’s the exact reason I’ve been crafting my own story for years.
They should have had a plan for when the battle started where Bella and Kate go straight for Jane. Zafrina can blind more than one person at a time, the other vampires and the wolves protect Bella and Kate until Jane is dead. Bella had newborn strength and Jane has probably never been in a fight in her life. Bella could rip her head off in a tenth of a second and then go for Alec with Zafrina and one of the wolves. They never clarified if Alec's vapor can go in more than one direction at a time, plus it seems like it moves too slow for him to attack more than one target at a time. They should have had two wolves go for Felix at the start. Kate and Emmet, she paralyzes them and he rips their heads off. It seemed like they didn't have a plan.
Wish we would have seen more of Alex’s powers . Just funny he has shadow tendrils which are a white wolf slash minds eye theatre vampire trait. I forget which clan . My dad was a larper haha 😂
Alice doesn’t see the full future, just snippets or possibilities. After all, Alice didn’t know if they were going to die or not, so she made arrangements for Jacob and Renesmee to escape. So it’s possible Alice didn’t know. Also, though Aro is thousands of years old and could be capable of taking in all the information in a minute, it makes more sense for him to skip through it and focus on the information he wants.
He couldn’t read her mind so he knew she’d be powerful but he didn’t know she’d be a shield probably sensed she would be something of the sort. He was intrigued though
I wondered about that too but not nessisarily the shield part but wouldn't Alice at least known about the pregnancy because that was a very BIG part of why they had to change her to save her life. I think Alice held back a lot of information when he took her hand. She showed him all he needed to see at that moment.
This was actually the first time Bella showed fear and bravery but if you really pay attention towards her actions she knows she has no real authority fr
Прошу прощения, не на английском Элис также могла видеть будущее будучи человеком. Похоже, некоторые способности, будучи слишком сильными, проявляются даже в человеческой жизни.
It's because you didn't read the books, but Edward explains that bella's ability is genetic. The combination of her father's and mother's minds. Bella's father was also partly immune to Edward's powers, although he understood more or less where his thoughts were going, he could not hear them clearly, like listening underwater. Bella's mother, on the other hand, shouted her thoughts to the point where the people around her were almost forced to indulge her desires. In the book they also explain that Aro had a mania for finding exceptional people when they were still human, because when you become a vampire, those characteristics increase, thus making vampires with abilities
It's not a plot hole. All unique vampire gifts have a weak element or presence in the person pre-turning. Becoming a vampire exponentially amplifies their strength, smell, sight, and what ever subtle gifts they have. Truly, I'm not making this up. Did you know that some people have an inherent gift of knowing where North is? Such a skill would be very useful in a primitive migratory tribe. Not everyone has this skill. In my interpretation of the lore, subtle gifts are greatly magnified. Edward might have had a special gift to read people's mood, a good compassion to read the room ,get on people's good sides. Alice was sear (whereas most sear are frauds, she was the real deal). Jasper was a manipulator. Carlisle's gift was compassion; an empathetic priest. Not to be confused with modern priests.
@mya.xoxo_ What I was getting at was missed opportunities to explore the fantasy / world-building. I think there was a lot of potential in the Twilight Universe with plenty of material to expand on in extended fantasy series. Not just a one-off sequel but a continuation after the og saga. We only got to see what Bella was allowed to see of the vampire world as a human and briefly what she saw as a newborn. There's so much more Stephanie could've done with it than a "and they lived happily ever after" ending. Like an ACTUAL war with the Volturi. Here's my pitch of how the plot could naturally progress after the vision of the battle in Breaking Dawn had it been written using logic. The Volturi now knows the following information: There's an alliance between vampires and werewolves because of Bella and her half-vampire child (whom the Volturi find extremely fascinating and want to know more about), plus alliances between multiple vampire covens. Of those are alliances are very powerful vampires who oppose/are willing to stand against the Volturi, Carlisle had the pull to recruit them, and they would have won. What conclusion do you think the Volturi might come to? The Cullens are a *threat*, and the scent of *rebellion* is in the air. That's enough criteria to declare them *enemies*. And what's more, the allied enemies witnessed the Volturi retreat immediately after seeing the vision. They've shown that they're weak. Now before you say of course they retreated bc they knew they would lose, the allied enemies didn't know that would work for sure; they might've attempted to fight with the advantage of knowing how they could counterattack. So they've also made themselves look like cowards. This is what would be going through the Volturi's minds. No doubt the word will spread of how they tucked tail and ran, making a full rebellion a very real possibility. So naturally they would start scheming and amassing greater forces to squash a potential rebellion. And boom, you're off to the races with your next overarching main plot, and while that's going on you're expanding the world-building, further developing the characters and all that good stuff. Unfortunately we'll never get to see any of that.
Since Edward was very opposed to changing Bella into a vamp…the vision Alice had was very split second considering that what she showed Aro was either “her choice” that she had a vision of OR it was Edward’s in a last minute desperate decision to save Bella’s life based off of what Aro had just stated seconds before Alice intervened.
It's so understandable, because by that point of staying with Edward, she discovered from him that vampires are killed easily by snapping their heads off therefore that view of Edward with Felix terrified her.
The only thing I hate about Twilight is that Edward is not an almost perfect fighter. It would be very interesting for him to be like Heimdall from God of War - for example, he could only be beaten by numbers or a very special ability (like Bella's shield).
Edward: Refuse to join the Vulturi and tries to expose himself before humans. Bella: Is imune to vampiric powers. Alice: Can see the fucking future. Aro: LMAO I will let you guys go home with a warning, there's no way it will come back to bite my ass in the future. Have a nice day 🤗
Her skill as a mortal and an immortal is 'blocking'. A good ship or border wall keeps the idyllic, wanted things in and the unvirtuous, unwanted things out.
In equivalence, Felix is something like a mix of Bruce Lee while also being the most phisically strong vampire ever. Only way to defeat him is wich distance powers and thats why not even an extremely fast and also mind reader as edward has any chance against him.
A lot of humans will show signs of powers even before they’re turned into vampires just not as strong. Like Alice when she was human would be able to guess something would happen and then it would happen. She couldn’t see the future but has early signs of being able to
I love the Volturi, they were perfect lawful antagonists and I'm so glad that they weren't defeated and killed at the end. @@org6760 I will delete the S then, but still.... A lost opportunity LOL
Oh shut your trap about “crap fantasy love”. This isn’t an action series like those billions of generic hero bs that lazy losers watch to feel “cool” about themselves while sitting on their butts. Get lost. 😒
@@org6760Idk why this comment motivated me to continue writing my story. Somehow hearing a successful franchise like this started with a girl at home who just wanted to write a story she liked fills me with hope. It’s the exact reason I’ve been crafting my own story for years.
Seeing little bit make me want to watch all over again
The Volturi could have been super cheesy characters but I thought these actors did a great job with it!
"Good bye, my young friends." 😅
Edward: Alice ..maybe we should start with your visions next time.
Can anybody tell me what Aro said after Bella said that he didn't know a thing about a soul?
I’m pretty sure it translates to “perhaps, not yours either” or something close to that
Love these movies, you have to see beyond the vampire thing. It’s about two people from two different worlds/ cultures that wanted to be together

“Bellir is alive after all “
Felix needed more screen time
He called her “Bellir” 😂
Wish we would have seen more of Alex’s powers . Just funny he has shadow tendrils which are a white wolf slash minds eye theatre vampire trait. I forget which clan . My dad was a larper haha 😂
That would likely be the Lasombra clan. 😁
2024 am still here can’t get over this movie
If Alice could see the future and Arro saw her visions of Bella - wouldnt they know there and then that she is a shield? 😮
Alice only see parts of future. And in this film, she only saw that Bella will be a vampire in the future, nothing else, not even her powers.
He couldn’t read her mind so he knew she’d be powerful but he didn’t know she’d be a shield probably sensed she would be something of the sort. He was intrigued though
Maybe the power is yet to be discovered,or maybe to them the shield power is still a myth
I wondered about that too but not nessisarily the shield part but wouldn't Alice at least known about the pregnancy because that was a very BIG part of why they had to change her to save her life. I think Alice held back a lot of information when he took her hand. She showed him all he needed to see at that moment.
I just love seeing how Bella keeps crushing Jane's confidence 😂
I love when Aro speaks in third person. Such an incredible character and actIng 🎭
This was actually the first time Bella showed fear and bravery but if you really pay attention towards her actions she knows she has no real authority fr
This appearing on my feed reminds me I’ve never watched a single twilight movie. Don’t hate it, don’t love it; just indifferent.
Confusing how much focus it takes not to damage ourselves
Aro is like a kid in a candy store when he discovers new powers.
i loved the voices of two people who were sitting on chair all the time.
Hahaha, in the scene that Aro took Edward's hand, Bella looks like " Dude can you give it back? It's mineeeee" I litrally laughed at the look
Bella's immunity while human is still a plot hole. But I do like how Aro test to see if she's immune to all their powers.
not really. Her father was also a bit immune to Edward's power albeit not totally. I think it's just e generational thing.
Прошу прощения, не на английском
Элис также могла видеть будущее будучи человеком. Похоже, некоторые способности, будучи слишком сильными, проявляются даже в человеческой жизни.
@@Cherry-bj7ddyes this was mentioned in the book
All the trouble in the following 2 books could have been avoided if Aro had just turned Bella himself right here.
It would be fit her personality and goals too especially if we consider her a bit power hungry
I feel the old guy from umbrella academy and the guy with the long hair can have tea together they both say fascinating a lot 😂
There's so many cool concepts and lore in the Twilight saga...if only Stephanie Meyer were a better writer lmao.
Uh, excuse you? It’s because of her books we got these movies
what are you talking about? her books came before the movies, so most of the “many cool concepts and lore in the twilight saga” are because of her.
Unfortunately we'll never get to see any of that.
i love that line 'we do not offer second chances' sounds so cold
So, that is what that song "Bella Ciao" is about!
You gotta love the irony of Michael Sheen playing a Volturi Vampire in the Twilight Series while playing a Lycan in the Underworld Series.
a fight between jasper and felix would be interesting
Since Edward was very opposed to changing Bella into a vamp…the vision Alice had was very split second considering that what she showed Aro was either “her choice” that she had a vision of OR it was Edward’s in a last minute desperate decision to save Bella’s life based off of what Aro had just stated seconds before Alice intervened.
Dear sweet gods, what the fuck did they make poor Charlie go through? I feel so bad for him.
Man, you know they're powerful when they have the Leader of the Lycans and Vecna both seated in the place of the Vatican..
I'm just here for 03:20 😂
😂😂😂
Breaking Dawn AWOOOWAHAHWAHAAA
So when Bella is still a human she was already a "shield" ...which is her power when she became a vampire..
Why did Bella grab her own head when she screamed “No, please!”? Kristen’s acting choices are so questionable.
Some people do that ..i thought its normal when u cry /breakdown, ur hand will automatically grab ur head
She was amazing in that one
It's so understandable, because by that point of staying with Edward, she discovered from him that vampires are killed easily by snapping their heads off therefore that view of Edward with Felix terrified her.
When you see something awful happening to another persons body part you tend to grab that part on yourself as a mirroring response.
She has the ability to feel what isn't hers.. it's called being an empath...I know this all too well
I think it’s a shame we never got to see emmet vs Felix in breaking dawn that would’ve been juicy
how many fights do they have and how many times do they repair the stonework?
The only thing I hate about Twilight is that Edward is not an almost perfect fighter. It would be very interesting for him to be like Heimdall from God of War - for example, he could only be beaten by numbers or a very special ability (like Bella's shield).
"Thank you.....for your visit
Can't read her mind because there is nothing there.😁
Hi there movies are background.... Not captured. So its from start 😊 or maybe not seen again .
Have a nice day 🤗
I really really enjoyed the powers in these films
5:00 PLEASE PLEASE
Her skill as a mortal and an immortal is 'blocking'. A good ship or border wall
keeps the idyllic, wanted things in and the unvirtuous, unwanted things
out.
The audio is terrible you can't hear anything
Love these films! Genius work❤❤❤🎉
In equivalence, Felix is something like a mix of Bruce Lee while also being the most phisically strong vampire ever. Only way to defeat him is wich distance powers and thats why not even an extremely fast and also mind reader as edward has any chance against him.
Can someone tell me how she was able to shield their powers as a human?
A lot of humans will show signs of powers even before they’re turned into vampires just not as strong. Like Alice when she was human would be able to guess something would happen and then it would happen. She couldn’t see the future but has early signs of being able to
Her gift was strong
Yes, she had the gift already even as a person - it was magnified when she became a vampire.
@@francescaa8331 so why is she the only one with a power among the humans?
Because she was born to be a vampire
Alice lied. She didn’t turn Bella herself
She did that for a reason
Full movies without friend is a big crime...in itself...
Everyone was beautiful in this movie
Bella, forever constipated
0:08 - 0:17, alec is making me blush hardly with his voice 😫😫😫
I don't know if its just me, but is the volume low for anybody else?
It's Twilight weekend 😊
This is when Aro made up his mind to destroy the Cullens. He wanted Alice's power and was willing to exterminate their entire coven to get it.
I love this
Imagine Felix vs Emmet
I have seen them several times and enjoyed them. The books are always better everyone knows that
