Each of them could defeat maybe 1 or 2 at most at the same time but for as much as these vampires get ridiculed for the glinting in the sun bit, these vampires have skin that deflects bullets and can only be killed if ripped apart and burned and most of Blade's and Selene's armaments don't involve fire. Not to mention that many vampires in this world have special powers. They're clearly a higher level of vampire then the usual ones.

I want to see a movie of the Volturi vs. Blade...even though that movie would only be about a minute forty seconds long before the Volturi were all ash blowing away in the wind.
It's been a long time since I watched this movie.
I enjoyed this movie. Sadly, I'm one of those people who prefers the image within my mind from reading the books over the books brought to life in film.
However, this scene was wonderful as it gave us a different scenario of the main scene while maintaining the true storyine.
