You are not alone. I have been fighting this, along with Stockbridge Bowl's ConCom and the Brewster Lake Association in Massachusetts. Thank you for making this simple video of the principles of basic Limnology. You don't remove plants when they are there to absorb the nutrients. Its amazing how foolish people can be in 2022. Keep up the fight. Europe is ahead of us on all this. I wish you the best.

I was just thinking today about our lawns. The chemicals, air pollution, etc that we put into making sure our lawns are obsessively manicured is insane.

Yes that is terrible but it is nothing compared to corrupted agency entrusted to conserve deliberately poisoning all the habitat they can get away with by using all these non biodegradable toxins and getting paid our taxmoney to do it. And leaving behind these stinking chemical burned dead zones!

I am not sure why they spray. Is it water flow or muck build up. What is the rational for spraying non navigated water?

There is Monsanto corruption sitting in the top chair of the USDA! The Monsanto men are always apponted to sit on top USDA chair by EVERY president every 4 years. USDA controls all these Forestry, Wildlife, and Agriculture agencies. My Wildlife agency got 1and a half million dollars granted to spray a 20 acre pond of native aquatic plants by simple lying about finding a non native aquatic plant on Monsanto/ USDA invasive noxious plant list. It is Money that goes to purchase their non biodegradable toxin and massive extra funds. That is why.

They spray because it costs money. Plants die, grow back and need sprayed again. Rinse and repeat with your pocket book.
