Has anyone called the Sierra Club, and if not, why not? They have an army of attorneys on retainer just sitting around waiting to set the government straight! To start with I'd make an appointment with the HOA and give them the info. My wife was a LPGA member and the 1st lady head pro in Palm Springs Ca. and she said the last place we'd ever move was on a golf course because of the chemicals her greens keepers sprayed. She said when the wind was blowing it would cover the tables and chairs as well as the toys in the backyard of homes. This was 20 years ago. I wonder how many of those people have cancer now!!?
wow, this is eye opening info!!! I never knew how toxic golf courses are... I always envied people who live with golf course view. Not anymore! Thank you so much for this video!
I don't know if it would help but I shared this video on Facebook and I added your channel to my featured channel and will do a video later this month and give your channel a shoutout. My family has been here since 1919 and I love Florida, thanks for caring.
Don’t bash the golf courses and people spraying. Bash your neighbors who complain when they see weeds or algae and make us spray. As well as it is a proven fact that golf courses filter water.
Golf courses are a host for birdlife and lots of other life. Far better than any urban or housing development which people are usually licking their lips to do on that sort of land. It's a conservation area. Golf courses are beautiful especially early in the morning and late in the day. Get for real and pick the right battles!!
@@inharmonywithearth9982 Get real. Golf courses create a space for human beings to connect with the tranquility and beauty of nature, something which in the urbanised modern world is really important. There are lots of life there and especially when there's water and all the birds and types of ducks and goose come. Please just pick your battles. Golf will eventually sort itself out and use natural and sustainable methods. It's a brilliant sport which is a great balance of technology and nature. They conserve large areas of land and prevent urbanisation
@@danielkelly8756 FACT- Some Golf courses were actual wildlife sanctuaries until the greed stricken developers came in and made them into golf courses.
@@inharmonywithearth9982 lol. Great point. Just like sensationalist media which causes social unrest and hysteria, you've found a couple of examples of where that's happened. Congratulations. If you visit most golf courses though they are a host for a lot of life and the game of golf keeps urbanised human beings connected to nature and its beauty. Something which urban environments mask. Yourr doing well though. I'm sure you comment on all the American football stadium videos, race track videos and all the other spots which destroy natural environment to stick some sort of human game on. Well done thanks for messaging.
Golf is arguably one of the most harmonious mainstream sports there is. The stupid American courses with 600 million bunkers and teams of 200 working on them to serve rich billionaires, I agree are ostentatious and toxic things not only to the enviroment but that's not golf. Look into golf, it's a great game. And there's a big movement towards going back to using natural land shapes and less materials and sustainable methods as well as all the newer more eco friendly equipment being manufactured
This channel deserves about thousand times the number of views it gets. This guy knows his science.
What I wouldn't give to live in a place/country where this kind of toxic application were illegal. Thank you for this excellent video.
They don't want you to be able to survive if shit hits the fan

Wow. So much misinformation and ignorance shared here by this "expert."

I’d like to see more about golf course spraying and runoff. As a long time golfer, I hate that the industry turned into.

There is more wildlife in a neighborhood than a toxic golf course.
