Extremely impressed by his knowledge of their collection and his ability to recall the facts so fluidly. He is a great representative of the museum.
"It might have trouble pulling the skin off of a pudding." Classic. That jargon needs to be in a museum!
I could walk around the vault listening to that guy talk about cars for hours.
What can i say ?! It's real ? No it' a dream. I am drooling. What a nerve ! I want these cars in my garage ! A big hug from BRAZIL (South America).
I give Tony thumbs up 👍🏽 for his knowledge of hot rods and customs.
The hotrod xr6 was built by my grandpa Le Roi “Tex” Smith!!!!!! That means the WORLD to me knowing that one of his hotrods is safe and there for all to enjoy!!!!! One day I need to come to the vault to see it with my own eyes and to remember what a legacy my grandpa was to the hotrod community!!!!!
Tony Miller is a legend!
All those cars, all that knowledge.
Keep the videos coming!
More to come!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! TOTALY AWSOME ROD & CUSTOM COLLECTION!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING AND I LEARNED SO MUCH!!!!!
Amazing! All done without any editing - one flowing shot! This guy knows his stuff!
Growing up in the 50's and driving in the 60's this is treat beyond words, but full of memories.
Kudos for remembering all the names and details.
What a pleasant, knowledgeable host. Thanks! Great car video 👍
What a memory - and what a stunning collection of vehicles - especially others in the back ground. Thanks for doing these tours, guys.
Fantastic collection of Hot Rods in the Vault.
Very good video! I could listen to this gentleman all day long
More of this please.
Those cars are amazing.
The gentleman presenting this tour is outstanding.
Tony did such an amazing job!
Thank you, guys! Very lovely walkaround!
Thank you Tony Miller. Great vault tour and hot rod collection. My favorite is 1932 Ford roadster.
Good choice!
I would be in heaven walking around in that place 👍👍
Eye opening and entertaining. I learned a little and picked up a couple of very funny idioms along the way.
Well done and well enjoyed!
Thanks so much for the tour!!
This chap actually makes does the subject matter justice with his fine narrative, unlike other videos presented at this museum.
Thanks Tony! I have been to L.A. twice in the last 3 years for just a day. Next time I will check it out!
Did the vault tour exactly 1 year ago today, after landing in LA from Oz & driving directly there. My head was spinning like a top at all the cars I’d seen in magazines, & then there were more that I didn’t know of, but were equally amazing. And then there was upstairs!!!!!!😱 If you’re into cars, this is one of the meccas👌🏼 Can’t recommend it highly enough, & the docents, like Tony, are sooooo incredibly knowledgeable & humble🙏🏻
Thanks Petersen’s 👌🏼
Thank you for your support Murray!
Thank you for doing this. Great job, enjoying Petersen videos during my quarantine.
... thanks Tony Miller for this great video tour. I visited many times the petersen museum in the past. Rod & Customs are a part of my livestyle, and when I´m in California to visit friends and car shows , "the petersen" is always on my "to do list". Many greetings out of Frankfurt, Germany, ... Matt.
Thank you sir. Very nice job.
Beautiful lowrider collection!!!! Thank you for sharing this with the world!!
I enjoyed the video. The dry wit of the narrator made me smile.
I bet that guy in the video knows everything about every car in the museum what a memory well done.
Hey man

Vault guide Tony really knows his stuff I have enjoyed his tours. I love the coddington and chip foose work displayed
Tony is amazing! Thank you for the tour.

Sweet! Love the track style roadsters.
1:27 into the video and I've spotted the one car that would forever satisfy my thirst for automotive perfection. Oh mylanta, that colour, that shape! Gorgeous.
I'm assuming its the Jag!
Wow, thanks a lot Sir. This takes real effort to keep these historical artefacts preserved and shared with the rest of the world. Cheers from India. Thanks.
Many thanks sir for this beautiful tour ! It is such a rare opportunity to see rods and customs in France, unfortunately our local road law is against any car modification. Keep up the great presentation Petersen museum, what you bring in theses times is priceless, and help us keep dreaming.
Incredible cars
This was outstanding... Let's see more!

Thank you! I really enjoyed a walk around this exceptional collection, that man made an excellent job as a host and it was a real pleasure to listen to him talk about the cars! Would love to see more videos like this, I bet that there are other cars with interesting backstories in the collection :) And if we could get the same man to host it, that would be awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the tour so much I had to watch it twice! My favorite hot rod is "the Alien"! Beautiful custom body!
Tony, what a pleasure to see you in this video, and to hear your wealth of knowledge. I look forward to enjoying your next video just as much as I enjoyed this one. I'll be on the lookout for it. All the best to you, Tony.

like that orange roadster with the quad-cam webered Ford V8 in it; now that's my kind of engine.
Great stuff, Tony!! The vault is where it's at.
Thank you, this was impressive as was your narrating.
Nice Job Tony. Thanks
Hey, Paul. Thank YOU!
I just love hot rod culture,,,,great collection
Thanks for watching!
I remember reading the articles in Rod and Custom in the early seventies when Jim Jacobs(who was their technical editor at that time) acquired the Niekamp roadster and returned it to its 1950 appearance.
I got to go through there some years ago, truly amazing...
Omg. Car heaven!
Great presentation. Thank you!
I need to go and take a tour with Tony, he was absolutely amazing! Thank you for this wonderful video!
Our pleasure!
Amazing tour! I love all the details and stories...
Excellent and thank you so much for such a fine presentation! My only criticism is not enough.
Thanks for the tour, so many names and cars that I remember from my youth. L’il John was the guy who for me, personally was responsible for venturing into Street/Hot Rodding along with Pete & Jake. Fast forward to today, almost 70 years old and I still have the bug. Currently it’s a fender less Washington Blue ‘32 Ford 3 window coupe done in a forties style. How fortunate some of us have been to experience & share in some of the finest years of the internal combustion engine.
Thanks again from England 🏴.
Absolutely amazing, when you go, don’t miss the vault tour. It was one of my bucket list things to do.
Thanks so much for the tour of the Petersen Vault...
That was fascinating! Thank you!
This is amazing!!to see all these cars is still in existance, most of the cars was cover cars from magazines in the 90s and early 2000s,love the coddington cars they have
Wow! Well done Tony and entirely off the cuff ... way to go! Keep them coming!

Excellent work Tony. Some serious history right there.
Amazing pieces of history in there! Some of which I had never heard of and found very interesting.
Been there Done that, But that was some years ago. Would do it again in a heartbeat. TX 4 the update. Great Place.
Amazing collection and commentary . great job.. thanks for sharing this with us.!
Much appreciated!
Very nice thank you for the video .I’m sure u know channeling is actually cutting channels in to the under side of the body for the Frame to fit into. Causing the body to sit lower to the ground.😉 kind of a mouthful. That’s probably why you didn’t elaborate. You’re the man thanks again.
very knowledgeable man … surprised me how you knew so much about each individual piece, tony.
Interesting video! You have some very unique cars in your collection. I definitely have to visit your museum one day.
Amazing talented car builders 70, 80 years ago.
I've heard of this museum but know that I'll never get there. Thank you so much for sharing and making these videos.
Amazing
You have an excellent job. Way to represent those beauties man.
This is an incredible collection . 4:15. The first production year for Hot Wheels was 1968. The first year series have 1967 copyrights. Bradley’s car became the Custom Fleetside HW car.
My Grandpa had a 56 belair convertible, sold, it always regretted it. He bought a matching matchbox belair :)
Please hire a video editor/producer. The incredible knowledge of the presenter and the amazing cars deserve it.
man, that was fun. . . .thanks for the post.
Glad you enjoyed it
it helps being stuck inside with the fake lockdown.
That was fantastic and thanks for the tour.
I remember supplying some electronic parts for the Mitsubishi 4G63BT engine that powers the Aluma Coupe back when I worked at HKS Performance Products. It was a cool project.
