- Today we start the Book of Deueronomy called Devarim in Hebrew meaning “words” (דְּבָרִים) with the Parashah of Devarim from Deuteronomy 1:1-3:22 and our Haftarah today is found in Isaiah 1:1-27 and very quickly we realize that the central focus of Isaiah as it parallels Moshes' words in our haftorah today, rebuking the people of Israel in a way that they can receive it, in order to put their focus on the Torah instructions that God has given and lead them to remember the importance of obedience, so that we too can learn and can be in God's presence and be a part of the restoration of all things back in the land in the age of mashiach. So today we will look at the principles of reproof and rebuke from Isaiah and Moses…

Great teaching Rabbi. And the scriptures are coming to pass, there is an increase of Jews coming back to Torah and Christian discovering the Jewish roots of the faith and coming to learn Torah as well.
- I don't understand how the Ten Commandments are enumerated the way you Gemorrah rabbis enumerate them. How is it that a statement of fact, "I am the Lord they God which took you out of the land of Egypt" is presented as a commandment while an actual commandment "Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt" is removed from the enumeration?

Shalom ! This is a great teaching , and I have learned so much from these teachings. When I didn't know better, I rebuked like this ( I REBUKE in Yashuas name) , then I learned to say The Lord God rebuke you in Yashuas name. I'm so glad I learned the correct way !
Still learning but saw your post and felt like sharing. Years ago I became so wearied, no matter how much reassurance I had of the power of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh I possessed... of rebuking in the name of Yeshua... I didn't do what you did though (as I said, I am still learning)
*I began asking יהוה to rebuke Hasatan for me*
I was just too weak anymore... I'd cry, I'd pray, seek the Holy Spirit, I'd live for the L-rd etc.. Still not strong enough*
*Church days- before I began asking why the Sabbath/Shabbat changed; why if the story/Books of Maccabees are in the Catholic, Greek& Eastern Orthodox ~ Why isn't it read and observed? Why? Why? Why?

@@IDontSuckAtLifeakaJanis3975 thank you for your comment. I appreciate you reaching out to me with your story. I too have again asking the Lord to rebuke when necessary. I found the closer that I get to the Lord and our relationship grows and knowledge and wisdom and love that I have more peace in my daily life, and I have better discernment now. And I feel like when the enemy knows that you're not going to put up with him and you're going to put the Lord on him then he doesn't mess with you as much LOL. I'm always still unguard and on my toes about it and I tried to stay very observant and awake to attacks and deceit of the enemy. It is my personal opinion that I believe that a lot of books were kept away from most people, because they contain truth that maybe the early church leaders didn't want the public to know, or understand. And a lot of the books also foretold Jesus, and talked about the nephilim, and talked about the end days and prove that there is no rapture., And I think a lot of the churches were trying to stick with their own traditions of men and the days that they felt that they approved of and not what God has ordained for us. I just feel like that they were probably trying to hide or withhold a lot of information from us. One thing being where we are from and who the people are that we are from like the Hebrews, The Jews,The Israelites, The 10 tribes.

I call it the "system of ERROR".

And so I had to go thru deprogramming that sorcery realm does to the soul, in order for the truth of Torah to make sense, I would say IF youre looking to escape 'sunday christianity" it and come Clean into the truth of Torah.
I would say learn to recognize what it has done to your logic and views.
the countless bondages it has augured into your soul over the years or decades, so truth can have "Fertile ground" the seeds of truth planted on to ROOT proper.
Else the baggage will likely never depart and there will always be the background kite strings resonating to keep to bound to IT to some degree. If what I say sounds like mind control has occurred is because in sunday christianity it IS, by & large to its consumers.
Because its undercurrents are very demonic in nature. There is No light in darkness just shades of it.

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
Stick with Isaac here and learn ONLY Torah , that is essential. Don't return to anything sunday" oriented. NONE of it is from a Holy God.

Shabbat Shalom Rabbi Isaac, this teaching is so deeper and extremely extensive. Because what I have seen there are too much stubborn people that refuse change his mind or getting in new way. This has been a challenge for me. Sometimes I want to be like Moses carry on intercede but other times I feel dismotived with harder mind and I just deliver in HaShem hands. Every day I pray to HaShem to be Light and salt and make a difference. All people that I have prayed no one want to change.

Pastor Isaac, I am scheduled to be immersed this evening in a spring near my town with a group of witnesses from the areas Messianic family in attendance. One of my family members has been struggling for years with an evil spirit of pride and control. He is very knowledgeable in Torah but often forgets Yeshua's purpose and teaching which makes it even more difficult at times. Our family has been struggling helping him and often divided on how to approach the situation. I want to make a lasting impact that will provoke real change in him through love of Yeshua but also rebuke this evil with knowledge of ALL His Word that will take deep roots in his life and in our family. This was a blessing for me today and will help me to be armed as we battle against spiritual attacks. Blessings to you. 🙏

I have a request for you - could you do a teaching about the song of solomon and its relation to Yeshua?
In chapter 2 it mentions the early fruit of the fig tree - which was lacking on the tree Yeshua cursed, and in chapter 6 verse 8 it says עלמה or Alma in Hebrew for the word virgin - similar to Isaiah 7.
I think it will be a great teaching for everyone.

To admonish or rebuke our Beloved, reproof via scripture should be sufficient as the Truth bears witness to itself. The Truth should be a sufficient antedote for sin or errant doctrine and should also be a sufficient exhortation as per example of the living Torah Yeshua HaMachiac..His Truth is the Light that destroys all darkness and exposes all lies , redeems all sin ,and resurrects the dead. I wish Rabbi that I could just sit down with you and speak with you about this that has troubled me for a couple of years. I want to tell you briefly about it and ask what your opinion is. Last year at Passover time it will be 2021. I found this little black man on the street and it was cold and he was shivering and all he had with him was a bunch of Bibles and Hebrew literature and bibles and a Kabbalah and notebooks. I tried to help him because he said that he was being abused by the people he was staying with and had walked a long way so I put him up in a hotel room and then I contacted social worker because this man was deaf and partially blind so he was disabled and could not see or hear very well and he spoke as a deaf person speaks. Well after the weekend I brought him home to my house to stay until we could get him in his new home. Which was a home for disabled people who are homeless. On the night of Easter we woke up to the most terrifying and guttural laughter that I've ever heard in my life deep guttural laughter and I jumped up out of my bed and it was this little man and he had been calling out the names of demons and he was looking at his phone at videos of Our Lord Yeshua being scourged and laughing. I just knew that I have been deceived by a demon or Satan himself in this man who I thought was just a little man who was trying to worship the Lord and was being abused because of it. And he had signs around his neck that were in Hebrew and I couldn't really understand what they said but when my roommate looked up some of the words it took him to a satanic site. So I just said I rebuke you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And I told him to stop laughing like that and he did. This was 2:00 in the morning, so I was stunned and a little bewildered because I was right out of my sleep. I know I have learned since then to say the Lord rubuke you, not I rebuke you. We have found out that he had also been studying the satanic Bible. I feel so foolish now for not having correct discernment but I thought I was doing the right thing and helping a poor disabled person that's all that I knew at first but that was what Satan used to deceive me to get into my house. I took him at daybreak to a hotel room and I told him that he would have to make his journey to his new home I contacting the counselor. I don't feel like sometimes I did the right thing but I only did what I thought was correct at that moment and I have prayed and asked God about it to give me wisdom about it and then I learned afterwards to say the Lord rebuke you. Also I just want to say that when we got back to my house I discovered that he had left a ring on my bureau, and when we saw it I just took the ring, and I threw it across the street and it landed in the grass next to a dogwood tree. That dogwood tree is now dead.
YHVH bless you for your kind heart Amy, but what a horrible experience for you! The Spiritual warfare we are in is very real. When the English Bible's say that Michael rebuked Satan saying, "The LORD rebuke you Satan" it actually would have been using the Hebrew "YHVH rebuke you..." and you can use this along with "...in the Name of Y'hoshua" as he reclaimed the rightful dominion and authority haSatan from Adam through his perfect life and death. Thank you for this lesson/message. I've recently stumbled onto a channel called "The God Culture", the administrator of which sees himself in his own words as a "researcher" only, disseminating what he finds... and in the same sentence says that he feels called by Elohim to rebuke those in power leading people astray - and yet he does this with a spirit of enmity, in my opinion. I think the research is important and very worthy of discussion, but I am troubled by the hate and malice which fills his presentation. I find myself wishing he'd learn a thing or two about this from YOUR research. This all culminated in this week when I tried to gently persuade him to be more sensitive... quoting some of the scripture you quote here, and I was reproved/rebuked. He asked if I would dare rebuke Jeremiah or Ezekiel and told me if I commented about this again, he would no longer give me audience. So I was searching for guidance... only to find THIS message in such a timely fashion. I still don't know if there is something I should do, perhaps you could review that channel and advise.
That’s very difficult situation. Blessings on you, we all have run into a leader who gets judgment happy at some point. Would anyone agree with you who has seen this as well? It’s really discouraging but I hope you find strength knowing God is leading you. I’ll pray for you. If you could write what you discovery along the way, it be useful to my learning as well.
@@jellydarling1008 - I would suspect that I am not the only one who would so comment. People who do are often simply troublemaking trolls and their comments are deleted or muted, so I cannot verify. Still, if one refuses to listen we take the matter to another elder, wise in the word as Pastor Yitzak is and people who heed/learn from him. So I brought it here. Perhaps that is all I can do, but I will try to keep you posted if anything comes of it.
While we do not wish to disparage any and do not personally know the ones of which you are speaking we do know what the scripture says about knowing people by their fruits and by their love. Our prayer is that all exhibit the character of Yah's humble selfless love and the sweet fragrance of Messiah in their demeanor and characters no matter what work they have been called to do. 🙏❤️

I have to be honest that i don't know how to rebuke or reprove? Whenever i use the word to guide someone especially with Torah, i get told that i have a religious spirit
I think that this is one of the biggest challenges we face as believers today, everyone feels that they are right in they own eyes. Truly this is a test of gentleness and patience
if your spouse is the scoffer, would you not rebuke them? do we treat a spouse differently as a scoffer than others?
Maintaining shalom in the home is of the utmost importance and we treat our spouses with with the greatest loving respect so as to never speak a critical word if possible.
