  • Listen and learn from Rabbi Isaac's new Dvar Torah teaching on the 21st Torah Parashah from Exodus 30:11-34:35 named Ki Tisa (כִּי תִשָּׂא‎) - Hebrew for “when you raise up,” as in the heads of Israel to take a census for who is able to serve. Ki Tisa also tells of the building the Tabernacle, the incident of the Golden calf, the request of Moses for God to reveal His glorious character, and how Moses became radiant.
Ki Tisa contains 9 new mitzvot comprised of 4 positive commandments and 5 prohibitions...
Each year we study and understand on a deeper level and we hope this deeper teaching blesses you with deeper insights and spiritual growth for today!

Thank you Pastor for sharing. Some of us are still learning and getting surprises of getting revelations which we were supposed to understand and live by during our Christian faith. May our Father above continue to bless you with His wisdom so you may be a tool to bring back the lost sheep of Israel including those who may be willng to follow Him and not only keep but live by His commandments , precepts and statutes without doctrinal hindrances. The 2nd Exodus is the reference to our deliverance through Messiah... with him taking us back to our inheritance in the promised land similar to the way Moshe did with the people of Israel after the first Exodus.

I read the people feared him so he hid his face from them. While looking into that I saw statures of Moses having horns.. can u please shed some light on the subject. Thank u.

God's spirit at times descends upon people as a flame of fire above their head as occurred at pentecost
so it is possible that Moshe had a double anointing that looked like horns to the people

    In Shemoth 34:27
“And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Write these Words, for according to the mouth of these Words I have made a covenant with you and with Yisra’ĕl.””
    ‭‭Shemoth (Exodus)‬ ‭34:27‬ ‭
In Hebrew does this particular sentence
“to the mouth of these Words “
Does it translate exactly like this or is there a slight difference in Hebrew? Thank you so much for working The Harvest 🙏

They asked for a replacement for Moses because they thought he died. Not a replacement for g-d. the Egyptian magicians with them formed the calf and made the statement that this was the g-d that delivered them. We know this because when g-d refers to the Egyptians g-d tells Moses look at what the people you brought not look what my people have done.

And yet all but the tribe of Levi lost the right to be priest due to the sin of the people of Israel. But praise YHVH that now the covenant has been renewed all Israel will be able to be a kingdom of priests in the Messianic age of the olam haba soon to come.

Is this jewish messianic or jewish orthodox or jewish christian ? everybody call him self rabbi now. It should be at least clear what it is ..... It is not good anymore that all people take character of Orthodox Rabbis. Imitate someone is not good idea.

    • @AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers
      @AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers  2 года назад

Unfortunately there are many without understanding. Rabbi simply means teacher in Hebrew and we all call our teachers, “teachers” out of simple respect (as I am sure you did when young being schooled).... The Aramaic word there in the verse you mention is spelled רב without the י normally the word is spelled רבי for that of rabbi. But we have the י missing. The י, as noted by the sages symbolizes humility given that it is the smallest letter in the Hebrew and Aramaic languages. The י is also made of three parts; a prong pointing towards heaven and a prong towards earth and an intermediary part to bind the two together. Without the י the word, as found in Matthew 23 becomes רב meaning "great one" because they have lost their י symbolizing their humility. But in the previous verse we see the י. Showing that obviously Yeshua was speaking of two different things. And the verse should be properly translated as "call no man great one" as it is properly translated in the Aramaic English New Testament from the original manuscripts of the New Testament. Also if it said "Rabbi" then the verses would be conflicting in another facet as well.
It is important to note that a rabbi and moreh are not the same thing. A moreh is a "teacher" which many in the Hellenized tradition think that a Rabbi is. But a rabbi does teach however his job as noted in the torah is to be a servant unto the people which is another reason why the י is within the word רבי (rabbi). It is not equivalent to a Christian pastor. People think a rabbi is the Jewish version of a pastor but it is not the case. In fact the main job of the rabbi is to be a servant to those in his community and in his schul.
This is a part of my job description, to do so and not ask for anything in return but rather to increase in my tzedakah and chesed. Thus verse 11 of Matthew 23 would be in direct conflict with the term rabbi, because essentially it would be saying "don't help the people in anyway whatsoever". That is in direct opposite of the message Yeshua was giving.
Here are further texts that prove that having a teacher and calling him teacher is not an issue with the Almighty…
And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others" (Exodus 35:34)
"Act according to whatever they teach you (the Shoftim) and the decisions they give you. Do not turn aside from what they tell you, to the right or to the left" (Deuteronomy 17:11)
"And Hashem has placed in the Kehilah first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance and different kinds of tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:28)
"Ezra the teacher of the law stood on a high wooden platform built for the occasion........." (Nehemiah 8:4)
"In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food" (Hebrews 5:12)
The list goes on and on and on, to where this very premise would have been a contradiction of the Torah, the Nevi'im, the Ketuvim and the writings of Rav Sha'ul if this were indeed the case. So either the "lone wolves" have Matthew 23 out of context or the Torah, the writings and the prophets as well as the emissaries of Yeshua were all liars and incorrect because of one verse. But the question is, if this were true then Yeshua would have corrected all the others who called him Rabbi in John 1:38, John 1:49, John 3:2, and John 3:26,
The real issue was when men of the first century shortened the term “rabbi” to “Rav” meaning “great” and as there is only one who is Great, Yeshua was correcting this. No one through history has ever had an issue calling a teacher a teacher from kindergarden through Phd. But anti-semitic false shepards would turn away people from the real Jewish teachers of the Torah by creating this false issue through a twisting of the scripture and false translation as they do when they translate synagogue to “church” when it is convenient to promote themselves but say synagogue when in revelation it refers to a “synagogue of Satan”. Hope you understand the agenda of the enemy!
