- Our Torah portion today is Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17 and is named Re’eh (רְאֵה) the Hebrew for "see", and the first word in the parashah hinting at our need for “Spritual sight” to see,,,
The parashah begins with Moshe turning to the future leader, Y’hoshua, saying, “After leading Israel across the Jordan, station half the nation on Mt. Gerizim and the other half on Mt. Eval. I shall soon reveal to you the blessings and curses to be pronounced there.”
Then Moshe offered to the entire people the following advice: “In each aspect of daily life you are faced with the choice whether or not to obey Hashem. Know that this actually involves the choice of whether to bring blessing or curse, life or death, upon yourselves.
“Even though each person has free choice of action, God is not indifferent to the path each chooses because of His great love for us! As it were, He entreats and counsels us, “Contemplate the options: doing good and reaping a blessing, or doing evil and incurring a loss of blessing - Choose life and blessings!”

(Husband and 2 grown sons) They are wiken and have left the family and turned away from G-d totally to become a " high priestess". No contact in many,many years. I am still praying and believing. when idol worshipers run the justice system, there has been no justice for my son who was almost murdered twice on Maui where they still worship their gods, no restitution or justice and he is broken but healing and keeping the Law the best he can as I taught him growing up..please pray for him and our relationship that is fractured but slowly healing...Shabbat Shalom
It is very true about the state of the false system... but Yah's system of perfect righteous justice will be set up soon in the Messianic age so be encouraged and know Heavenly Father is in the process of restoring all things... including your relationship with your son! wine is a symbol of the blood that ratified a covenant... and when we keep Yah's shabbats holy we are entering into covenant with him and called His people (Exodus 31:13-16)

Wise men worship Christ Jesus
Did you know that there has never been a person born in Israel named Jesus? Furthermore, did you know that God commanded Israel to worship no other gods? In Exodus 34:14 He says, "For thou shalt worship no other god: for YHVH, whose name is Zealous, is a Zealous God" Thus He is zealous for only His own name being used and worshipped. Through the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 45:4 He reminds His people again saying, "“I am YHVH, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God." So there we have a double witness from Him in the Torah and the testimony of His Prophets... and He says in Isaiah 8:20, "To the Torah and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." I hope this helps. His real Hebrew name, aa far as i am aware, is YAHshua which means God with us.
I'm not certain but isn't the Word for salvation Yahshuaty ?
Somewhere in Isaiah, I think, says when the messiah comes, one of His names will be Almighty God. Then in the gospels did Yahshua not create from mud, heal many people, bring people back from the dead and walk on water?
He did a good impersonation of Almighty God If He actually isn't who He said He is.
@@yhwhsproperty3360 Y'shua never claimed to be Almighty God but the Son of God there are far too many Scriptures where he states this truth & for example when he prays to his Father & where ABBA Father responds to Yeshua such as at his baptism to far outweigh any confusion of the separate roles & identity as our Lord, redeemer, exemplar, High Priest, mediator so much more to our Heavenly Father Almighty God Yhvh.

Being taught biblical things outside Israel are more storybook to peoples minds, inside it ,All points including names, meanings, are significant making all the difference how you can interface with ppl there.
And principles are at time a matter of life and death there.
As taught outside Israel they seem storybook shallow".
It is so so different to live the scriptures there VS be taught it outside Israel and not take full ownership of things.
I don't use jesis because truth to unlearned ppl will always be jarring to them so why say something that isn't consistent with the rest of proper scriptures as meanings, seasons, times, names etc?

Why the photo of the temple with 4 gates on the north side?
The Temple Mount, located in Jerusalem, has twelve gates.. but there are also six other sealed gates. This does not include the Gates of the Old City of Jerusalem which circumscribe the external walls except on the east side. According to Josephus, during the second temple period there were ten entrances into the inner courts, four on the north, four on the south, one on the east, and one on the west from the court of woman to the court of the Israelites. Thus the artist's depiction of the second temple period which we simply used to represent the people streaming to Jerusalem in the future (but not indicative of the three gates on each side of the Ezekiel temple Messiah will build in the future.). Hope that helps... good catch!
Questions about the second tithes.... so, years 1, 2, 4, 5 are for traveling to the three Feasts. Years 3 and 6 are for the poor, and so, did they not go to the Feasts those two years? What happened in the 7th year? Was tithing suspended for that year? I always thought they traveled to the Pilgrimage Feasts every year, not just 4 out of 7. I came out of the old Worldwide Church of God, and they taught a third tithe every third year, where people saved an additional 10%, thus setting aside 30% of their income during those two years. Seems like that was a total misunderstanding, and I hate to think of so many people who made a financial sacrifice like that when it wasn't necessary.
yes that was correct with the extra 10% in the third and sixth year as you were taught, as all men entered to present themselves in Jerusalem for the pilgrimage feasts every year. 😊🙏❤️

Sir who are you referred to as hashem ?
"Hashem" means "the Name" of the Holy One, blessed be He (in Hebrew) so as to not make common His Holy Name YHVH in repetitive speech. It is the common reference to the Creator by all Jews.
Why Christianity promote idol worshiping??? This is why I cannot be Christian longer.... even I was 55 years upto now - nobody can understand me ...

Following Torah where blessing flow from seems or In my view is the only way to go. I Too look forward to the days of Isaiah prophecy we shall be so blessed from this scriptures.
Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
