- Ki Tetzei (כִּי־תֵצֵא)- Hebrew for “when you go,” the first words in the parashah) is the 49th weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה, parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the sixth in the Book of Deuteronomy. It covers Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19.
This Torah Portion focuses on all the laws that deal with HONORING ALL LIFE where ever “you go”. Seventy-four of the Torah’s 613 commandments (mitzvot) are in this parashah dealing with honoring others and all life forms. These include the laws of the beautiful captive, the inheritance rights of the firstborn, the wayward and rebellious son, burial and dignity of the dead, returning a lost object, sending away the mother bird before taking her young, the duty to erect a safety fence around the roof of one’s home, and the various forms of kilayim (forbidden plant and animal hybrids).
Also recounted are the judicial procedures and penalties for adultery, for the rape or seduction of an unmarried girl, and for a husband who falsely accuses his wife of infidelity. The following cannot marry a person of Jewish lineage: a mamzer (someone born from an adulterous or incestuous relationship); a male of Moabite or Ammonite descent; a first- or second-generation Edomite or Egyptian.
Our Parshah also includes laws governing the purity of the military camp; the prohibition against turning in an escaped slave; the duty to pay a worker on time, and to allow anyone working for you-man or animal-to “eat on the job”; the proper treatment of a debtor, and the prohibition against charging interest on a loan; the laws of divorce (from which are also derived many of the laws of marriage); the penalty of thirty-nine lashes for transgression of a Torah prohibition; and the procedures for yibbum (“levirate marriage”) of the wife of a deceased childless brother, or chalitzah (“removing of the shoe”) in the case that the brother-in-law does not wish to marry her.
Ki Teitzei concludes with the obligation to remember “what Amalek did to you on the road, on your way out of Egypt.”

Please please pray for me. I am an addict in my life is going downhill and nowhere fast. I do things that I can't help myself I don't like who I am. It wasn't time in my life where I was very judgmental of addicts and those who use drugs. But the turn of events as life does I became one of the ones that I hated and now I hate myself. Yes I am born again if those words can be acceptable born again. And yes I did become an addict at this. So please pray for me because I need to know why this happened so that I can use it as a testimony one day please pray for my healing and deliverance wholly and completely. I myself have my addictions that once was set free .
I did got baptized and truly believe that my baptism wasn’t made under the right terms .
Best advice I can offer you it’s to deny urself ( fight ur temptations ) Yah always offers a escape from it , sometimes difficult to fight yes but we must deny evil and run from sin .
The spirit it’s willing but the flesh its weak .
Fast pray and surround urself with people that are able to help you distract you from your struggles .
Be strong and courageous.
Ur heart it’s inclined to God yet ur flesh fights against it .
I understand ur pain .
But u must endure and pressure ur spirit to be conformed into Christ likeness.

Praying for you, sister. This works for me. ...After I repented out loud , for each sin,, and renounced them,, ( turned my heart ) , My personal victory in the war against sinful flesh happened when I put all three of my weak areas under a solemn vow.
By diligently keeping myself under the vow,, Satan never is allowed in to tempt me. I repent quickly if I fail, I don't wait, giving time for the sin to grow roots
I never used to understand the importance of this kind of zero tolerance for sin . I don't even allow myself to entertain any thoughts of my temptation. I diligently guard my gates , my heart, eyes, ears , my tongue. And I use my spiritual authority to command my body to obey me, and the devil to stand down , ( not allowed to fight ME
I believe this must be an acceptable kind of vow, because it simply reinforces the covenant that I already have with Yah, that is like a marriage.
I know there are verses that tell us not to
2 Corinthians 12:9
“And he said vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weaknes. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest vpon me.” pray without ceasing everyday and forgive yourself and forgive everyone around you that has ever hurt you. The Lord will heal you of your addiction but you have to have faith and believe. That is your part. The Lord Jesus Christ is your strength. Lean on him and have trust and faith in him but he will heal you of your addiction. Stay away from people who are using drugs. Be strong in the Lord. Stay around people who are strong in the Lord and study the scripture to fill your mind with the word of God everyday. This is going to take effort on your part too,, but give it to God. He will help you , and he wants to help you, and he loves you.

Would like to ask you if it’s correct to judge others ?
My understanding it’s that we must judge for ourselves what’s right and wrong so doesn’t affect our walk with Yah and we must correct our neighbours when applicable so they don’t commit or continue on sin .
I have reason this topic with few individuals and appears to me that I stand alone on this understanding.
Please give me your input on this .

How does Joseph's wife Asenath daughter of an Egyptian priest of On fit into the marital laws/restrictions?
Was this because the marriage was arranged by Pharaoh or was she grafted in ?

I have a study on this revealing that she was the daughter of Dinah (his siter) and not a "daughter of Egypt"

Yes for thousands of years the term Jew has referred to the whole House of Israel who keep Torah and not just the tribe of "Judah". In the book of Esther Mordechai and Esther were called "Jews" even though they were from the tribe of Benjamin and there are many other examples.

Are these mitzvahs only for Jewish or they for all of Israel because you keep saying Jewish?
They are for all Israel... (sometimes we Jews refer to the whole House of Israel as Jews because of the Jewish faith that all received at Sinai)
I thank the Lord God Almighty for the unceasing revelation of the Holy Spirit that is flowing Through you. I believe with all of my heart that you're the appointed fresh voice of heaven for this hour. You know the church is nothing without the Jewish people coming back to its original position and place they have in the Lord. For the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes, first to the Jews, and also to the Greeks(Gentiles). The first privilege is given to the Jews people, and then to the gentiles. The church isn't complete without the Jews, and vice versa. Therefore, I believe the Lord is using to unveil the original, and early church foundation pillars to help come back the Jews, and the church unto our Rock of foundation, The Lord Jesus Christ. The only thing that saddens me is that you always talk about the Jews when all the laws are for ALL God's children...All of the 12 tribes not just the Jews. Us who see ourselves as the 10 "lost" tribes coming back to Torah dont want to continue seeing Israel as the Jews as our pastors made us to believe. Other than this, I love these teachings .
Over the last 4000 years all the tribes and the whole house of Israel has been referred to as the Jews (by the Jewish people) so we say it fondly and all encompasing and pray for the return of all those still outside of Torah and the land daily. 🙏❤️
