  • In this Torah portion from Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8 Moses instructs the people of Israel: When you enter the land that God is giving to you as your eternal heritage, and you settle it and cultivate it, bring the first-ripened fruits (bikkurim) of your orchard to the Holy Temple, and declare your gratitude for all that God has done for you.
Our Parshah also includes the laws of the tithes given to the Levites and to the poor, and detailed instructions on how to proclaim the blessings and the curses on Mount Gerizim and Mount Eival-as discussed in the beginning of the Parshah of Re’eh. Moses reminds the people that they are God’s chosen people, and that they, in turn, have chosen God.
The latter part of Ki Tavo consists of the Tochachah (“Rebuke”). After listing the blessings with which God will reward the people when they follow the laws of the Torah, Moses gives a long, harsh account of the bad things-illness, famine, poverty and exile-that shall befall them if they abandon God’s commandments. We find a common theme amongst the sins that bring a loss of blessing (curses) in our lives in that they are things that we think no one knows about… in other words they are a list of secret sins.
Moses concludes by telling the people that only today, forty years after their birth as a people, have they attained “a heart to know, eyes to see and ears to hear.”

@@dawvidben-huir8101 first of all, yes brother let’s make the Torah honourable again ❤️
I’m gonna try to explain. But I am not good in it so forgive me if I can’t make u clear what I mean.
U show an human made image of the earth. But you and I and most other people haven’t seen the form of the earth. So we listen to people that don’t walk in the footsteps of our Lord and savior. The human pride made us that image, and by that it’s rebelling against God. For that we have to read Job 38. Our eyes can see but not understand the wonders that Yah made.
Than we have to remember the commandments.
“You are not to make for yourselves a carved image or any kind of representation of anything in heaven above on earth earth beneath or in the water below”.
The image we did made , do we worship it, I can’t say really.
But does the world worship it? yes! That image is everywhere and become a symbol that sepose to be Gods creation.
Which no humble human can proclaim it to be.
That image shows the world we are Human and we know how God made creation! Even if Yah told Job only He Knows.
So in my opinion it’s one more way to show our creator human can be like God.
First recognize how it is and than recreated it how they want it.
Does it make sense what I am saying ?

Thankfully the weekly Shabbat has always been observed the same way in an unbroken cycle of every seven days by God's people since Creation and is not based on the moon as the counting of our monthly days and annual feasts are. Hallelujah, Amen!
dear brother in Ha Mashiach, I would like to ask you. According to historical records, Yeshua Ha Mashiach was baptized in February 27 AD. Right after the baptism, he was in the desert for 40 days. On the 42nd day after the immersion, which was also the first day of the month AVIV, Yeshua Ha Mashiach was proclaimed by Yochanen as the Lamb of God. The parallel is that the sacrificial lamb was always a young male up to the age of 14 months, then it was no longer a lamb, but a ram. Therefore, I believe that Yeshua had to fulfill the length of his ministry of 14 months max. After his baptism, he had before the first Passover, which he celebrated with his disciples, and on the second he was already the sacrificial lamb. According to historical records, His crucifixion took place on April 28, 28 AD. Which was the 14th day
months of AVIV. Why am I writing this? Yeshua, immediately after the "temptation in the desert" event, returned to his homeland, went to the synagogue on Shabbat to testify that the Jubilee year had just begun (Luke 4.16-21) When he read the prophecy of Isaiah 61. So his year of service was 50. Jubilee year. I count from 27 AD 40 Jubilee years as you mentioned here in today's parasha and that corresponds to the year 2027/2028. I don't want to give any dates for Yeshua's return, but I think it is very, very soon.
Do you think my idea is worth considering? And thank you very much for your teaching. I am from the Czech Republic and I came out with several other members from the Sunday Baptist Church and we meet at the spiritual Zion and start Shabbat with you every Friday evening. We are so thankful that the loving Father YAH brought us out...Amen

We believe that Yeshua would have been baptized in the fall around Yom Kippur at the end of the days of 40 days of repentance (Elul 1 - Tishrei 10) that John was proclaiming "repent and be baptized" then his 40 days in the wilderness beginning his 3 1/2 year timeframe before his death ("the annointed one was cut off in the midst of the final week of years - Daniel 9:26). It was common that during Yom Kippur every year every Jewish person purified himself in the mikvah and when he presented himself to Yochanan (John) who was the next in line High Priest of the Zadok line, John prophetically recognized the Atonement for all man’s sins through Him saying, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (another way of saying that he makes Atonement for Israel).

Those biblical truths that are salvational in nature are the essentials. These are the hills on which we must plant the flag of truth and be willing to defend at all costs! What are these immutable essentials?
YHVH Elohim (in Hebrew a plural word) is the Sovereign of the universe and the God of the Bible. He is one (Heb. echad, i.e. a compound unity), yet the Bible reveals the Godhead is comprised of three spiritual entities: the Father, the Spirit and the Son.
The Bible is the Word of Elohim from Genesis to Revelation.
The Torah is for all believers for all time.
Yeshua the Messiah, the Word of Elohim, is Elohim and is the Son of Elohim who was manifested incarnate on this earth being born of the virgin Mary.
Yeshua lived a sinless life, died on the cross as an atonement for the sins of man, was buried and resurrected on the third day where he is now at the right hand of Elohim, and at the same time is on the throne of Elohim as Elohim.
Salvation is by the grace of Elohim through faith in Yeshua the Son of Elohim. As a result of one’s salvation, one will love Yeshua by keeping his commandments or word (the Torah), which will produce in his life the fruits of righteousness as defined by the Torah.
