wich cam would you choose ? d16 turbo with gt3076 turbo goal 300whp with low boost :) only track use .
Oh nice project!!! On ur end? I’d look at “this” cam and the compcam59300
that should get yours to be “snappy” and “responsive” your tires may not like it 🤣
Car is running nice , since 5 track days but with stock cam now I want to upgrade. Ok 👌👌 thx. I ordere the Crower cam and test it.

i put some ebay hbeam rods into my d16y7, rods did not have any oiling holes ....been noticing slight metallic in oil, is that normal on first break in? did look at rod bearings and replaced with undersized .001rods bearings...did not look at main bearings yet really...
What pistons? Usually aftermarket forged pistons don’t need oil jet/hole
Depending on the amount of metallics on oil it could be the new rings seating in?
Good day sir! I was wondering where to go with my stock d15b p08 head and ECU. I plan to take it to the track, but dont know where to start to maximize the motor, I'd love to stay NA, but if you could advice po, would it be better to do some mods for the head or transmission first? Im not looking for crazy power, so i'd leave the block untouched po, will a more snappy transmission be advisable over head mods like aggressive cams and intake mods? Thank you for your time!
Take it to the track first, maximize the stock motor with the current skills…
a lot won’t admit sa pinas have alot of good engines but the skills on track is inadequate
To this day we stick with stock transmission too so right then and there the advises are lop sided

the stock engine lasts quite a long while on reasonable rpm
No sohc will benefit anything above 8k rpm stock anyways
