What is diameter of run ring ? Cant find any info.
Would larger 60 / 70 pound swivel still pull through with 100lb mono uptrace ?
Or is it designed for smaller 40 pound swivels to pull through run ring ?
May be an even larger run ring for larger swivels an 100 pound mono .
Hi Ian, we do two sizes of Run Ring, Des is using the XL version here, which is large enough for a 150lb swivel to go through easily.
Ok deadbaiting .
No good livebaits as the livebait pulls the uptrace back an forth on the run ring . The uptrace does pig tail an weaken.
Much better with livebaits to use 100lb mono as uptrace.
Its worth noteing that livebaits hooked tail first as per a deadbat always swim away from lead.
Were by if hooked head first they swim back up towards uptrace.
This i no to be correct as iv tested it in the margins .
