We always get the same sort of question 'how to make a wire trace for pike fishing?'
In this video we are giving you a quick and easy tutorial on just how to do that, we will also give you some bonus content around rigging stingers, weedless hooks and adding rattles and magnets to take your Pike fishing to the next level.
Some people use fluorocarbon leaders for Pike put we prefer to use wire trace as your guaranteed that a Pike will not bite through it.

I don’t wanna be that guy.. but when using crimps you should put the wire through once more, so 3 times in total, and you make the second ”loop” real tiny, almost snug to the crimp. Doing this makes it a lot less likely for the wire to slip out of the crimp when you hook a big fish. It doesn’t matter if you’ve crimped 100% correctly, it can still slip out easier than you might think under load. This also means that you should choose crimp size accordingly, so you can put it through 3 times. Otherwise great video! Keep em coming! BIG PIKE!! / Chris from Sweden

Hi, I'm not really a predator fisherman. I bought a baitcasting rod for my local river. However I havent really used it much. I really like perch. Can I use a baitcasting rod for perch?
Of course. Just keep in mind everything needs to be scaled down in size (ideally). So maybe lighter braid and instead of a wire trace use fluro carbon leader 👊🏼
