Had an early morning session a few weeks ago after small perch and caught a 50cm pike first ever with the glasses on

Ha ha 🤣 doesn't matter how experienced you are, when you see them come racing in your heart skips several beats. Even more so when you're stood in the water with waders on. Something very eerie about them just appearing out of nowhere in a flash.

Guys if you get the chance please can you try a few casts on the canal in Cookley. Not far from you but particularly under the Cookley tunnel. It's long and dark and I swear there's a monster pike in there.

Great video lads, been using grandfathers old lures to try catch pike no luck yet only just started fishing and love it. Yous should come to Scotland and try some of the lochs some amazing fish mostly mackerel we have been catching and great views along the way.

Alright lads. Bangin vids. Be really into seeing a breakdown, like a predator fishing for beginners. Where you target, how you choose your baits, what the casting weight on rods means IRL, what line you use, all that, pretend I'm new to this. Behind the scenes tips and that, like what 'tactics' you use - how long do you stay in one spot and do you 'work the clock'? If you've already done one then do another don't be lazy. Good effort and well done on the channel and if you're ever in Oxford hit me up ayeee

Ive binged watched quite a lot of your vids after getting myself back into the fishing game (long time carp angler turned pike spinner) and I have to say some of the graffiti/wall-art you guys have around your area is so much better than what we get around here 🤣🤣 I think i even saw a boris johnson one in one of your vids.
Down here its just a random name scribbled in white or red paint. Sometimes the artists are more adventurous, put on their big boy pants and scwiggle a bigger name on the wall which they then have to fill in with a different colour, but you guys actually have some proper abstract art.

On that stretch of 'that' canal, some years ago, I saw a young Pike sink it's chops into a Grebe's butt. I don't which of them was more surprised. And there used to be some nice Rudd there as well...... Pike food!!

You need to get up north to hoddlesden resi darwen last yr 39 lb pike and other resi jumbles about 5 miles away 40lb pike
People coming from allover country for pike and good coarse.resis 1st 3 mins from my house
So it looks like not only good course lake its turning into a good lake for beasties the other lake jumbles is far bigger that where the 40 pounder came out

I've always liked "Fire tiger" lures for canals but as the real pike have never seen such a fish would they be frightened of it and thus not take it? So do you think lures in real colours are better....?? Thanks...

Inspired me to invest in a pike lure setup myself, iv been ultralight perch fishing for the past couple of winters but want to get a few more pike focused trips in this coming winter.
