Thanks for the video - one part that's left out: once you get the 2nd set of bolts out, take two of them and put them in the other two holes and tighten slowly until you feel the clamp release.
Thanks man 👍🏻🍻
Nice vid Greg!

Thanks Brandon!
Well done
Thanks Dad!
UPDATE: I did remove the clamp by using two of the M6 bolts (previously unscrewed) in the two of the threaded holes, once it bottoms half an extra turn clockwise will unlock it.
After I managed to unscrew the 4 bolts (which requires an unbelievable strength) I have tried everything to slide off the cone clamp but nothing worked. I mean it is not a simcore fault but at the least they can state in the product description that this is a very difficult operation to perform... Probably I am gonna sell my extention
It might be 2 years ago, but the you used the m6 bolts and not the m5 bolts which holds the cone clamp? Can't get mine off either..
@@JCUProduction I can't remember if it was m5 or m6 the bolt, however, tightening up a long bolt in one of the other threaded holes would do the job. When the bolt screw all the way in is basically touching the the bottom of the clamp, just keep turning clockwise another quarter or half circle and it will come off
@@LeonardoMarchese Hell yea, I figured out what you meant. I was just so scared if I would mess something up. They for sure could be more precise about how to get it off!
Thanks for this tip. I doubt I could have gotten the clamp loose without your instructions. Wish I could buy you a beer :)
Finally realized what you meant, thanks! For anyone else here who might not be sure - Take one of the four screws that you just took out, and screw it into one of the two extra holes that previously didn't have a screw.
Screw it in and once it starts to get very tight, an extra half turn will do the trick. Be ready for a loud pop, mine made a loud noise and it scared the crap out of me.
Hey mate. Where did u get those button plates and the screen (with the screen support) They are very nice . Good video. 👍🏼👍🏼
Apex sim racing
FYI the manual says the torque for those 4 bolts is 5-10Nm
Hey I did the same but have serious play and clonking when hitting big curbs or high compression zones. Plz help
is that hub 5,5cm or 5,5+ 4cm from the og one
Hello guys, when i have VRS base with standart VRs HUB i must take off VRS hub and then i can put this simcore spacer? Ant its compatible with xero play qr? Thank you
I ordered the UH1-75 and a 50mil Gold Pro XT. If i don’t end up using the XT you wanna review it? I’m in the states.
Nice stuff.
Any review on their dashboard display?
Hey there, ya... here's the link. It's about midway through: ruclips.net/video/xJjPVo_gSgs/видео.html
sim lab or simcore Extensions which one is a better extensions.
can You tell what is inner diameter of this extension?
Hey Greg i just received my extension and I can't get the base side quick release off I've tried M4,M3.5 allen keys and they are to big and the M3 is too small. I noticed in your video you said they were M5s.
There's another way to remove it, you will need a m6 bolt I believe. Once you get the we off, you can see a few holes. Put a m6 screw in and gently rotate until it pushes the shaft off.
@@GTGREG Ok thanks, But I can't get the first 3 screws off as I mentioned the M3.5 hex is too big and the M3 fits but all 3 bolts seem to be stripped I've tried 4 different 3mm Hex head keys and they all slip. In your video you said you believed they where M5s. mines are definitely not M5s.
@@04GEEDOGG gotcha, my sc2 is just about 2 years old (version 1) so they may have changed the bolts in the later versions. Hit them up on Facebook if the 5mm hex is not working. If you stripped it, you are gonna have to use an extractor.
I keep hearing that the motor wasn't designed for this. Have you had any issues with this at all like performance or technical problems
No issues, they recommend stabilization if going over 100mm.
@@GTGREG how would you do that. I need the 105 extention
@@jj4996 lots of people are using 100 without it but I just recall Mika mentioning anything over 105 would can be an issue if not managed properly (using the wheel to get out of the cockpit, etc). I would consult with simucube or post in the Facebook simucube group for the proper guidance as I've never done it.
@@GTGREG So I just bought Simcore's 105. Should I be worried, downsize, or just treat it responsibly and be fine?
@@GTGREG so it's that no any issues even using the 105mm as now?
So anyone have a torque spec for the bolts yet ?
Simucube online manual says 5-10 nm
No way just wiggling this thing works
Great video. But they didn’t put any bolts in with my extension.
It dose not need or come with bolts. It uses the factory bolts from your current qr system.
