      Just got a Simucube 2 pro to replace my CSL DD 8nm two weeks ago and loving it. Its super smooth and fast to react and drifting on it is just a joy. The thing is that steerings and button boxes for it are expensive compared to Fanatec. Currently using Turn R305 + Ascher B16L, Cube Controls GT Pro and an Nardi Twin 305mm, all on nrg QR

      @SimCoaches ahh not worried, alot of youtubers were way off base on what was going on. Thomas letter proves that. They also had a meeting on the 6th. Regardless they aren't going anywhere wether Thomas comes in and gets his investors offers accepted which bte he came up with 48mil euro in investors within 2 weeks time lol. Or if they end up having different owners. Regardless fanatec is staying. They won't be going anywhere. I mean shit they finally are almost fully caught up on shipments also.
      US is on track and averaging 3 days for shipping. Even if it says 4 to6. We put up a survey and or a list for people to fill out with there times and dates of orders. Also they would then update the list when they got it. The list has about 2k peoppe on it. The average for US was 3 days and the average for the EU was 14 days.

    I got a DD2 at launch. It really sucked those first few months. It just didn’t perform well. Especially compared to my CSW V2. It also had a defect that I eventually had to send it back for repair. Over a year and half later the performance did improve but the damn QR became worse over time. I couldn’t deal with it any longer. I switched to a SC2 Pro and the experience has been fantastic. All the way around. Zero complaints.

    • @OhItsThat
      @OhItsThat Год назад

      @@PandaGamerzNL The cooling fan would run at 100% rpm when I turned on the base. It would do this about 50% of the time after powering on. In the beginning it would do it for a few minutes then finally shut off. After months of working with Fanatic on new firmware the problem kept getting worse and Fanatic still wouldn’t agree to an RMA. Finally it got to the point where every time I’d turn on the base the fan would crank to 100% rpm and never turn off until I turned off the base. It sounded like a jet engine and was unusable. This all started less then a month after receiving the DD2.

    I feel like Fanatec has changed their sales approach. I believe they have began to focus on console sim racing since they are honestly the high end brand in that ecosystem of gaming. I think they have also realized that they haven't kept up with the likes of Simucube, Simagic, GSI, Cube Controls etc. etc. etc. Fanatec is a great product for what it is, but when it comes to PC it is upper entry/lower mid-range gear.
