    It's interesting, but not in the "I want it" way of interesting, it's rather "tie your cat's rear legs together and glue a sticky note on its head to watch it trying to walk funny" interesting.
    The prices are a bucket of ice cold water dropped on your head - not poured out, just dropped so it hits you bottom first.
    Design is questionable, but subjective. The biggest flaw in this is definitely going to be software, as just saying "g hub" is enough to give some people ptsd and logitech are seriously doing themselves a disservice if they're going to rely on it long term without completely overhauling it.
    Time will tell how it will work out when it hits the masses.

    • @yubos98
      @yubos98 2 года назад +4

      Hell right, G HUB is the bane of my existence as a Logitech G920 user prior to me getting a Moza R9. While SimPit is not the best thing in the world, it's miles ahead of G HUB in terms of stability. The bloody thing just works! I turn on the base - it gets detected, I go off to the races. With G HUB I had to relaunch the damned software all the time to make it recognize the wheel so that I could switch presets! Also, having the ability to use my smartphone to manipulate the wheel's settings without alt-tabbing is a great feature!

    It would be great if Logitech decide to sell this in Brazil/SA region where you can't really but any DD wheel from Fanatec/Moza etc, they could take an market that have no easy option. If they bring this to Brazil it would probably cost around 2k USD with taxes, but you can't really buy any other DD for less that 3/4k USD from a independent import, so would make this became an easy option for almost everyone who wants an DD wheel that is officially sold inside the country.

      Logitech, Console first PC second. If someone wants a DD on console the cheapest wheel base Fanatec has available is the DD Pro 8nm at $600, CSL Load cell $300. That's $900 before adding a wheel. $140 for the cheapest wheel. 1040. It's a $220 undercut. But Logitech has features not on Fanatec DD. Trueforce, 3nm advantage and a display on the wheelbase. It's not a direct comparison, if anything the stronger base adds to the cost the most. Just buy the Fanatec if none of that matters. No brainer.
