Luxury car buyers always want to drive the latest and greatest new vehicles because they want to be seen as successful/important and have the latest gadgets to show that off with. If you think about it, it makes sense since NOBODY truly needs a luxury vehicle to get by in life. This is also why 70% of luxury cars you see on the road (mainly German/British) are leased. German brands in particular tank in depreciation faster than the Titanic sank specially the more expensive the model gets. Whenever I see someone in a Range Rover or S Class I see the opposite of success. I just see how financially irresponsible that person really is.

The front grille would have looked better scaled down a bit. I am a huge fan of the interior, extremely modern and high class. The illuminated Lincoln badge up front is cool and the rear looks nice. Really full size SUV's are not insanely popular, but it does look better than the Sequoia and QX80/Armada. Definitely better than Cadillac Escalade as far as interior, although a fan of the simple looks of GM full size SUVs
Take the middle 3 seats out, extend the furthest back seats, give the luxury option of 2 individual seats instead of 3 in the rear, add veneer options, lustrous materials, napa leather, add quality infotainment system, quality t.v options, put in 20 speakers with different settings for different sound experiences and you've got a car that challenges the SVAutobiography LWB, A8, XJ, etc. It's already got posh road efficient tech, just had the posh luxury tech.

I’ve driven Infiniti qx as rentals. They are dogshit. They are fast but interiors are so so. Plus they can barely even charge a cell out of usb. If you have google maps going while connected to charge cable it will actually drain the battery.

I bought my wife a new 2016 Lincoln MKX back at Christmas and it's really nice...she loves it. I don't think that many people are going to spend $100k on this new Navigator though. You don't see many Navigator's period. You don't see many new Escalade's either. They're all WAY too expensive.
1. I can notice the cheap plastic from here and if you're planning to compete with RR, well... you already failed. 2. You just made the car bigger, why? What person wants a harder time parking? 3. The exterior is just ugly, again probably they tried to focus in making it bigger, then again Navigators have always been BIG! but seriously this isn't the the 1800's downsize that beast. It's called using space more efficiently not just cram more stuff in to compete. 4. Those chairs were awesome!
Beautiful exterior and interior. Lincoln has really stepped up their game. Looks much better than the majority (all) of full size SUV's out there including it's main competitor the Cadillac Escalade. It's not easy on the eye. First impression is key and the Lincoln somewhat fails considerably. Sure L.E.D lights make everything cool (Put them on my Fridge, looks like a cryogen freezer now) . damn, i usually hate lincolns because the exterior is so cringy an the interior isnt teh best looking, but new generation of lincolns is amazing, back to what they used to be in the days of the v12 lincolns. they should bring a v12 back sometime, but obviously they are owned by fors and they are just gonna use ford engines. but what aremarkable job theyve done on the continental dn the navigator

I don't care about the performance of the EcoBoost TTV6. If you heard the sound of the Ecoboost in real life, its not exciting at all. It should have a V8 to compete against the Escalade or event the Range.
the seats does not match the interior feel. I still do prefer analog dials than the digital gauges. STILL NOT A MATCH TO A ROVER

I bought my wife a new 2016 Lincoln MKX back at Christmas and it's really nice...she loves it. I don't think that many people are going to spend $100k on this new Navigator though. You don't see many Navigator's period. You don't see many new Escalade's either. They're all WAY too expensive.
1. I can notice the cheap plastic from here and if you're planning to compete with RR, well... you already failed.
2. You just made the car bigger, why? What person wants a harder time parking?
3. The exterior is just ugly, again probably they tried to focus in making it bigger, then again Navigators have always been BIG! but seriously this isn't the the 1800's downsize that beast. It's called using space more efficiently not just cram more stuff in to compete.
4. Those chairs were awesome!
Beautiful exterior and interior. Lincoln has really stepped up their game. Looks much better than the majority (all) of full size SUV's out there including it's main competitor the Cadillac Escalade. Lincoln will be taking the number 1 spot in sales for full size SUV's. Luxurious, full of new technology, and jut plain ole beautiful....Great job Lincoln.

A Lincoln and a Land Rover are in two completely different categories. For starters.......if you buy a Lincoln you have to mix with the peasants that drive Fiestas and F-150s at the Ford/Lincoln dealers. It's just Rover/Jaguar clients for us Land Rover owners.

It's not easy on the eye. First impression is key and the Lincoln somewhat fails considerably. Sure L.E.D lights make everything cool (Put them on my Fridge, looks like a cryogen freezer now) . I think it's far fetched to say it's out to fight Range Rover more like a copy and paste situation going on not quite sure, comparing it to an Escalade makes a bit more sense but the former not so much. My opinion

The interior 10/10 engine 10/10 the face lift 9/10 the back lift is 2/10 this is my opinion this car is amazing but its really has ugly back design!!! I think this car will not make a good profit in external market because the only one reason is >> ugly back design 🙁

My 2006 rusted to the ground. Was a total loss. Aluminum bolted to metal is a recipe for disaster. Could have purchased 2 mercedes for the cost of fixing rust and disintegrated parts until the day ford said it was to far gone to repair. 96k and it's in the junk yard. No Thanks. My mercedes is awesome.

It feels like we are 50 years in the future looking at Lincoln cars from 50 years ago. That is, even though these are new designs, they seem old/vintage. Can the design language be called "future vintage"? At the same time, it's great consumers get more choice with these unique designs.

Looks like they finally turned the Navigator into a nice vehicle. I like the design, although the fact that some elements are copied from Mercedes-Benz just throws me off a bit.
Does this american car still have leaf springs? - cant read anything about its suspension. What were the interior designers thinking to put the handle grip on the A-pillar, infront to the field of vision? - its very distractive, who will grap it in this possition? -- (just tap my forehead at this nuts designers!)
Range Rover's looks like a mail box n wheels the design don't change every year they more and more like a box very square straight lines all over them. At least with the navigator there is an elegance to it this is just oozing with luxury I love this compared to last year model that thing had two buck teeth in the front and looked cross eyed but this yes thank you ford for this.👏👍👍
