Heath Ledger is my favorite live action Joker and Mark Hamill is my favorite cartoon voice for the Joker.
health ledger obviously
16:57 WOKE MOJO ALERT!!!
Joaquin Phoenix.
I gotta to be honest, The Joker is my favorite supervillain of all time! Jared Leto has to be the lowest ranking clown in the circus, Joaquin Phoenix is a more compelling clown with a great voice and a good laugh to go with it, Heath Ledger is a powerful joker in a powerful movie but Jack Nicholson was born for the role and he’s got the smile to prove it, and The Joker’s real name in Jack Napier! Before Arthur Fleck, Jack Napier started out in the comics, so I gotta give my vote to Jack Nicholson! 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🤡🤡🤡
Heath Ledger is still the most villainous Joker by far while Joaquin Phoenix’s is perhaps the most realistic Joker yet and they both won Oscars for their roles!
They both Share #1 in my mind. Ledger is the embodiment of Chaos and Phoenix is a man who is beaten down by society and turned into a monster
Nicholson was more closer to the Joker
Ledger’s joker was the most spot on joker, joker is a fucking clown psychopath, lether’s joker was by far the best idk how ppl can even argue
Must burn Leto's ass (after all his 'method acting') that both the person that played the Joker before him and the person that played the Joker after him won Oscars.
@@kushsmoke273 exactly joker just loves chaos and destruction he doesnt care about anything because he knows in the end nothing really matters if he dies he'll live again if he kills batman he'll live again or another will take his place thats skilled/dedicated enough like bruce to fill jokers need if he gets arrested he knows he'll be free again he knows hes a character on a page so he knows nothing in his life his world his universe means anything therefore his actions dont matter nothing means anything in his universe the closest he ever got to that (aside from animation/games) for me was heath ledger
Nicholson: Mob boss with bleaches skin and has a crush on a reporter chick.
Ledger: Insane terrorist with twisted philosophical ideals.
Leto: Gangster with bleached skin, makes cat purring noises and Jim Carrey impressions.
Phoenix: Disturbed man who has been abused and ostracized all his life and he finally breaks.
That's why I don't like Nicholson's character.

Joker is one among very few fictional characters where every actor who potrays him can be vastly different but yet source material accurate. That's why Joker is such a memorable character.
Heath and Joaquin are neck and neck. They both put everything they had into the Joker, both won an Oscar for the role, and we have two unforgettable movies as a result.
True Joaquin had done his homework watching The Man Who Laugh (1928), watch, and study people with real life laughing condition, and even spent the whole summer stopped eating, and drinking ate an apple for a day, and starved himself lost 50, 52lb.

To suggest people only liked Heath as The Joker because he died is just plain idiotic and so narrow-minded.
No one saw that performance coming and you sound like one of the naysayers who was slating him when you found out he was cast, only to be proven wrong.
He was the best Joker because no one thought he could do the role justice, or that he could make The Joker completely his own as he did.

Jack Nicholson was too campy
Jared Leto... Well, he tried.
he was ok, but the writing made him more of a copy than an actual joker. Pheonix laughter is the best it's crazy how many different ones he had
Have you ever seen nicholson's laugh it's legendary
Phoenix is better 👍
Ik heath might be chosen for every category but like, I honestly think his laugh is the best of him. I mean it's deep at first then gets high pinched. Deep and high r both a different jokers laugh, ones dark and ones goofy. Then it adds that silly tone in making it seem as if he's a pyscho. The others r good but I find heath's more disturbing and much better
Joaquin Phoenix's joker laugh was absolutely awesome no question about it. The best? Absolutely not. I think Jack Nicholson's is a very close first because his is just the sound of crazy. Heath ledger's laugh literally scales with the movie and the tension of the movie and attention of the audience and as an added bonus he does everything to make everyone else feel unnerved the entire movie. His laughs at the tone for who the character was in my honest opinion. It starts off with this really sarcastic and cocky and just I don't give a crap kind of laugh is how I see it. Then when he starts to actually pick up his laugh and the tone changes with it that's when the crazy spills out but then he reels it back in and it's not until about a third of the way through the movie that he really shows you to laugh and let's not forget Heath ledger's final laugh when he's hanging upside down. That is iconic. Nothing else needs to be said. That final laugh is so bone-chilling but so captivating that there's no way you can think there's a better laugh. And if you do you clearly don't understand the nuances of the different laughs.

The final act in 2019 Joker probably has the best Joker scene ever. The laugh, the way he dances and swaggers around. It was all perfect. The only problem was, we didn't get to see more of him like that. He only becomes Joker at the end.
By far, Jack Nicholson's interpretation of the iconic character has to be the best, it is both spot on in terms of the transference from the original comic book stories and the 60s cartoon combination, of both being a psychopathic villain but who is also actually funny in a completely twisted way, slightly unstable and explosive. The joker should encapsulate all that in the role, as being a so called madman with a cause, but who does it with a little bit of comedy along the way.
Joaquin Phoenix is my favorite of the Jokers, but Heath Ledger comes really close. Despite all the naysayers, I actually like Jared Leto’s Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. At least he was given better direction in that movie compared to Suicide Squad.

Heath Ledger is a well deserved win.
Phoenix is my favorite sense it focuses the most on the joker as a character rather than him just being twisted and messed up without context. His backstory was only always established in the comics and even then it only ever happened so often. The jokers past is twisted, unsettling pased, and grim until he finds freedom in doing what society titles as wrong even though it’s just payback, and Phoenix did a GRAND job at that. The Joker is the only comic book character that has won the most Oscars.
Heath Ledger was up to date, the best Joker in cinema history. Not because he's gone but because seriously that performance from a comics villain was Oscar worthy.
Of course maybe someone in the future might surpass Heath Ledger's performance...but as of now he's the best Joker.
Let's just agree that we know Jared Leto from Zack Snyder's Justice League instead of Suicide Squad
All these actors have won Oscars. Playing the Joker means something to anyone who portrays the role. Mark Hamill in the animated had one of the best laughs.
As much as I want to say Heath Ledger . I have to go with Jack Nicholson . Then Ledger ,Phoenix and Leto .
"With new and improved Joker products, I get a grin. Again and again"😁
Still think the perfect Joker would look like Heath Ledger, but have Mark Hamill's voice.
YES Ledger was perfect Joker and Hamill Joker has the perfect laugh..... combination of performance of Heath and laugh of Hamill would be MASTERPIECE !!!
Romero: the funniest
Nicholson: the scariest
Ledger: the best on screen
Letto: the worst on screen (but could have been better)
Phoenix: the most sympathetic
Keogian: mix of ledger & letto I assume
Mark Hamill is probably watching this thinking "That's not funny..... That's no..gasp.."
Mark Hamill is the joker that all other jokers should be compared to.
I loved Heath as the Joker, but man Phoenix took it even further!
It blows my mind that Joker has that low of a critic score.
Critics always counter-score the audience. Audience generally knows best imo. Critics are fuckin morons, really.
It was still more positive than negative. So more critics lean more towards your opinion.
ill say Jack and Heath tied at first with Phoenix in 2nd. Heath and Jack were legendary man cant deny that. RIP Heath Ledger
I think what adds to the creepiness factor of Phoenix’s Joker Makeup is the specific design they chose. You might’ve already noticed that it bears a striking resemblance to John Wayne Gacy’s or Pogo the clown’s Makeup design. And there is a reference to him in the movie as the comedy club that Arthur performs at being called “Pogo’s Comedy Club.” I think this adds to the creep factor, because it is based on a famous killer, especially considering the fact that it takes place during the 1980’s, (though the exact year is unknown.) which was before Gacy was caught.
Seen 'em all. Still think Jack Nicholson was the best. Don't let the playful suit colors or the "Partyman" dancing fool you. He was savage: burned a man alive, shot his best friend over a balloon theft, put acid on women's faces as makeup, released chemtrails, stabbed folks with pens, etc. ... all with the most INSANE and erratic laugher ever. I'm sorry, but none of the other ones can do that laugh. JN is crazy, and he fit that role perfectly.
Rest In Peace Heath Ledger 🙏🏽 In my opinion, he’s the greatest Joker 🃏 but if we were talking just Joker period, I think Mark Hamil is above the rest after Ledger
I agree🇦🇮
Marks joker laugh was based off of jack Nicholsons the patterns match which is cool
@@annoyingPoe15 that is pretty dope
I rank these jokers obviously
1. Heath Ledger
2. Jack Nicholson
3. Joaquin Phoenix
4. Jared Leto
letos laugh reminded me of my squeaky door of all things
Jack nicholson is my favorite, he was perfect for the role of comic book joker. Yeah heath ledger was great in all, but he's massively overrated, the bias in him is insane.
Jack nicholson is perfectly captures both psychotic yet great sense of humor. He's basically the most vanilla joker we can get and he did a flawless work on acting it. Heath on the other hand, he was terrifying yet he didn't joking part. He was more of a creepy guy rather than a clown. That's just my opinion but it really just comes down to personal preferences, i guess most loves the dark knight more than the classics.
Even though I love a lot health ledger's Joker, i prefer Jack Nicholson
Boomer spotted
Same i like ledgers joker but my favorite will always be Nicholson joker.
Funniest Joker indeed
Yeah me too! Jack Nicholson is a lot more funnier and I found him a lot better
It annoys me how nowadays majority sleep on him, Joaquin and cameron (especially him) and praise heath only. While he is great let's all remember that there are also other legendary performances of the character.
Every Joker performance compared
Cesar Romero: I'm I a joke to you
