Does making this technique affects the durability of the amigurumis?

Hi! You're welcome! =)
The only difference that I find is that working in the back loops only creates a thinner fabric than working in both loops. But working in the front loop using a smaller hook and catching the yarn that crosses behind the stripe creates a fabric that feels the same as if worked in both loops. Either way it shouldn't affect the durability of the amigurumi. =)
