Holy Sh*T! I never thought I would hear those words ever! And what sad is Lesley Headwhatever has made a Star Wars Show so bad. That those words actually carry some weight. But, compared to May, at least we knew her struggles and frustrations towards Darth vader, so at least i can understand her turn against him.

The only main plot point to give them reason to switch sides is their sibling bond, which isn’t even that healthy of a bond to begin with.
Yeah, Reva looks like a fully fleshed out character compared to these not-twins. I waited through the last episode, but I still don't care about them. Don't hate them, don't like them--I just don't care. I liked Sol okay, and I will say the last jedi was worse, but at least it looked good. The Acolyte looked very cheap in a lot of parts.

Anakin kills a bunch of younglings with his and nothing
His connection to the Light Side was strong, like Kylo. It took him murdering a ton of people for him to first get Sith eyes and even then it was only for a moment. Only after he lost to Obi-Wan and got flamed did his anger for losing + the pain from his injuries allow him to go full Sith. Even after killing Han Kylo couldn't go full Dark Side.

Star Wars has always been full of inconsistencies:
- Darth Vader is supposedly a separate personality, yet as an adult we realize that it was just Anakin hiding from accountability (the Vader comic makes this even more clear).
- Anakin is supposed to be the only one who could bring balance, yet Mace Windu could’ve brought it, but plot stopped him so Anakin could do it.
- Anakin thinks the Jedi are hypocrites, yet he was secretly married and tortured people in the Clone Wars cartoon.
- In Return of the Jedi, we are supposed to have forgiven Anakin because he “returned”. Yet in the Ahsoka show Anakin took zero responsibility for when he was a Sith and stated, “is that what this is about?” when Ahsoka implied she was afraid of going down the same path.
Eventually we remember how George Lucas once said he created this series for kids. And the writing for every show and movie proves that.

He literally fulfilled the prophecy by rebalancing the Force. It was only Jedi hubris that interrupted balance as eliminating the Dark Side.
All that money went to Harvey’s defense.

Disney Acolyte - Before the Force created Anakin, it created Mae.
To be fair Leia in her time of distress did send a message to Ben so clearly she knew of him well enough. I know the whole "helped my father in the clone wars" line but clearly she personally trusted him to help her for some reason.
And to be fair to The Acolyte there was a prophecy so somehow it was known there'd be a chosen one. The Jedi did know of vergences in the force prior to Ani. It's just I guess he was THE vergence not A vergence. The show isn't well written, Kenobi, or the PT but not everything in them is terrible

Torbin was the OG of this whole series. He’s out on a planet for two months and has no idea what he’s doing, gets possessed by a sexualized witch, freaks out, disobeys his masters, steals, a speeder bike and has a light saber battle with a Wookie. He loses an eye and is so strong afterwards he can meditate in mid air and create a force shield bubble that no one can penetrate; loses all his hair and looks like Mr. Burns. He then declares that the series is total shit and commits suicide by poison.

I've been on a brilliant Star Wars journey since 1977, and this abomination of a Star Wars cloned series has confused, angered and disappointed me, in fact I'm offended and flabbergasted that Master Yoda was in the very last scene, fortunately they didn't show his face and nor did he speak.
How Disney has managed to destroy the greatest sci-fi movie franchise in history is beyond me.

The cave is likely on the planet where Plageuis found the Cortosis deposit in the novel.

@@nocturnal03 Watch the last episode. Look at the jedi that are brought back to Brendok. They are all human or human passing jedi. Nothing like what we saw in the prequels as far as exotic alien jedi. The show had 180 million dollars, they easily could have made non-human passing jedi. In fact, the only non-human passing characters in the show are Kelnacca and Plagueis. All the aliens in The Acolyte are easily outdone by cosplayers at anime conventions.
It's supposed to be one per alien species of the main alliance there.... They are more or less representatives of their respective species for the Jedi with Yoda being the exception because he is basically the Grandmaster of the order.
It seemed like the Acolyte was a one-and-a-half-hour movie stretched into 8 half hour shows

They're maneuvering to show that Yoda knew and kept a lot of secrets. They're attempting to show the Jedi in a bad light, but it just falls short.

While watching Episode 8 I had to constantly remind myself that Mae was wearing Osha's clothes and Osha was wearing Mae's clothes. Not only did both characters switch clothing, they also switched personalities.

But she was able to turn a Jedi masters in a few seconds. All because off of a sudden she decided to force choke Sol. Which you have to be trained to do.

- Sabine (not a high enough M count to utilise the Force; later uses the Force without training)
- Osha & Mae (being “the same person” contradicts prior statements made by LH, as well as the story itself)

Yoda could not sense Sidious when he was Chancellor. So how could Yoda be expected to sense a Sith before that?
They'll never know its a vergence in the force so technically the jedi will think Anakin was the only one. Also it doesnt go against him being the chosen one, there could have been 500 born that way but only anakin was going to complete the prophecy, it wasnt there will be only 1 vergence and he will be the chosen one.

Honestly, dude. Why are you so resentful. I hope you'll take your own advice and respectfully engage in a polite conversation. Here are my points:
1) Ki-adi Mundi's age really isn't a huge issue. His age wasn't established in cannon, and let's argue that it was solidified in canon, this is the least important change to get resentful over, and that was basically the first argument that most haters used when discussing the show.
2) Ki-adi Mundi never found out that the Sith are behind anything. No one knew. Most importantly, Ki-adi Mundi has always been the main symbol of the Jedi's arrogance. I love the Jedi order, but we all know that they were always blind. They were arrogant and believed that no one other than them is allowed to use the Force, and that the Dark Side must be eradicated. It's funny how their idea of "balance" is a total domination of the light side. Ki-adi Mundi was the natural choice for this scene, as he shows how extremely arrogant the Jedi are.
3) Sure, I agree that the witches are evil, at least most of them. However, though I understand Sol's point of view, we all know based on everything in canon so far, that witches, with notable figures such as Mother Talzin and Merrin using such powers to teleport. Since there was a fire, and Mother Korril was being beligerent (on the one hand understandably so), Mother Aniseya wanted to teleport herself and Mae, and most likely Osha as well to safety. Sol might have know this, or might have not. Keep in mind that, though I love his character, he basically murdered her and even considered it as such because of the remorse he felt. He ultimately came up with a post-hoc excuse for what he did, and it was very dark. The witches went into exile beyond the republic's reach and Mother Aniseya didn't condone violence, as she has said many times. She, as much as we might disagree with her beliefs, wanted her coven of witches to be free to use the powers they were capable of.
4) No one is saying that Anakin is any less important than he is. You are catastrophizing. Anakin IS THE CHOSEN ONE. No one ever mentioned in this show that the twins are. This isn't the first time a vergence has been mentioned in Star Wars canon, and Anakin's conception isn't the only vergence either, think of Mortis for example. We for now don't know yet what Mother Aniseya's intentions were when manipulating the Force, so calm down please and let them explain. Once they do, possibly in the second season, then say how shitty or not it will turn out to be. Anakin is the Chosen one, chosen by the Force. The girls were created by Mother Aniseya manipulating the Force, and since this is unnatural, maybe that's why it ultimately didn't work as planned and there wasn't one body, one being but had to be split into two? Maybe that's yet another argument as to why this case is vastly different from Anakin's conception? Also, remember that George Lucas initially wanted to have Darth Sideous tell Anakin that he is his Father, because he and Plagueis either created Anakin directly or indirectly by the Force countering whatever the hell they tried to do. Ultimately Lucas scrapped that idea.
5) Speaking of Darth Plagueis, dude, I literally screamed out of excitement when I saw him. This is a historic day. In the heat of the moment, I just thought that Darth Plagueis is simply doing what every Sith Master does, which is keeping an eye on their student and feeling proud while betrayed at the same time. However what you're saying is awesome too. Who says Sith can't be inspired by others? I mean come on, Sidious was inspired by the Mortis Gods at one point during Star Wars Rebels. Sidious was inspired by the concept of the Force Dyad and wanted to create one with Vader. This isn't new.
Thank you for being reasonable. I feel like most people who hate this show, especially Theory, know this exactly but choose to jump on the hate bandwagon because it's apparently the trend now and generates more views. He is not even criticizing; he is just spreading hate, and many people won't give this show a chance because of this. They hated the show even before the first episode came out and just don't want to admit there were amazing moments. In my opinion, the show wasn't perfect, but especially the last episodes made me excited for a second season. The fight scenes were the best in live action since Episode lll. Maybe they should have focused on the Sith lore earlier, but I can clearly see the potential for more.
For those wondering where the money went, pretty sure most of the money goes to the executive producers, some shows and movies have like 15 of them credited. It's been a thing for a while now.
