You rock Melissa. This is by far the best jogless crochet method I have seen...and I've seen a lot! Thank you so much for sharing this video with excellent instructions.
Thank you so much for this video! I was using a different technique but was still getting a visible colour change. Much happier with how my project looks after watching this video! 😊
Thanks for the tutorial. This is one of the least obvious changes I have used of the bajillion methods out there. I’m distracted my your nails. 👀what are you hiding under those forms?
At 2:06 you start talking about crocheting into a slip stitch, and later mention it being loose, but you never say to *make* a slip stitch! This looks great and I want to learn to do it, but I think maybe you left out a step?
Hi! No, there is no actual slip stitch. When I finished the last black stitch, I pulled the yarn up out of the stitch (I called it a slip stitch because I have no other term for it). Added the new yarn with a chain 1, sc 1, and then single crocheted into every stitch around. So, just sc in every stitch, no slip stitches.
@@auntmelissacrafts I just decided to forego all these"methods" that don't work and join each round with a slip stitch and ch 1 with the new color in a normal color change technique then continue on. My stripes are now completely jogless and look clean and professional. I think maybe this is the only way. None of these other techniques are completely un-noticeable 🤷♀️
@@nadahashem4853 dont give up. It took me years to learn and at a time when all that was available were how to books. RUclips is a wealth of knowledge. Start with simple stuff. Master the foundation chain and single crochet and make a scarf. Keep to flat and simple. You can do it!
wait this was actually so easy to follow along! Thank you so much!!❤
You’re welcome!

Way to confusing lol
Why does ami color change have to be so damn complicated 😡😡
I know! There’s no one perfect way of doing it, unfortunately!
