    This is an amazing video in so many ways. I've spent the past 3 days looking for a solution to my problem and finally I found it! Not only is your footage of crocheting extremely clear, you're a natural performer. The intro is concise and shows your joy for teaching crocheting. Please continue to make videos like this, so, SO helpful!

    I've watched several videos on this and this is the *only* video I found that was so well-explained! You're such a patient and incredible teacher! I wish I stumbled on this before my recent project, but at least my uneven line is going to be hidden for this project. But my next? I'm using this technique! And your demeanour really brightened my morning! :D I needed that bright spot to my day!

    Really enjoyed your video. I've been crocheting for 16 years and have never liked the continuous spiral patterns people create for amigurumi besides for heads. The Circle Join does work with both full loop and back loop. Try both and see how you like it. Just remember that, even when doing back loop, the circle join is still done in the full stitch. I'm so glad you found this video informative.

    Your technique borders on Genius. My only regret is, I wish I'd seen your video years ago. Colour changes have always been a rather big obstacle to overcome, and I've ALWAYS tripped over where the colour changes are in my finished project. I LOVE THIS BRILLIANT AND HOBBY CHANGING SOLUTION! I now cruise through the changes with your technique and ABSOLUTELY love the final result! A BIG THANK YOU to you! BTW I love your voice. It's perfect and very pleasant. Easy to understand too. Also, no "fluff" added---goes right to the subject!👍👍👍👍👍

    I cannot thank you enough for this video! I was making Christmas Gnomes for my Daughter-in-law for Christmas. The legs are circular striped red and green, the pattern calls for continuous rounds. Thank you for making this video. Sometimes you just have to go that extra mile in order to get the look that you want instead of "oh well". Many years ago a kind crocheter quickly taught me how to join the rows on a hat that I was doing. I had never thought about what she taught me in minutes (on the bus). I never forgot that lesson because I had made dozens of hats without doing the invisible join. I also saw how to decrease without leaving a gaping hole in the work. I laughed and laughed at how I decreased, but, it did work, it's just that it didn't look perfect and you could see what was done real easy. I'm a visual learner and these videos are just what the doctor ordered. You helped to bring back my joy of crocheting. Thank you again for sharing with us.

    Actually, yarning under instead of over is also one way to control the slant of the stitch on joining, so your surgery is serendipitous for showing the better way to stitch for no-show seams!! Thank you for the really clear explanation!

      @CrochetFiberArt  5 лет назад

      Yes it is. And, going back through my VERY OLD (hehe) notes also reminded me that to yarn under is called a Square Single Crochet, so it's a real stitch, lol. Thank YOU for pointing it out {{{hugs}}}

    I love this technique and used it on my very first Mochila bag. I have seen many tutorials now and wonder why, why, why I have not seen the invisible join on any of them. I just did a simple one-stitch increase on the bottom and until I reached 100 stitches with 8 sections so a 10-stitch repeat. And then did a two-color design like flying geese in quilting. Except for changing colors over the join, which I had redo a couple of times, it was so easy and it is practically invisible. And as my first project ever, it looks great !!! I wish I could send a picture to you.

  • @mhoffman11
    @mhoffman11 3 года назад +1

    Thank you for the instructions. I had to watch the video a couple of times. I don't think I'll bother with the circle join unless I were changing colors. I use stitch markers to mark the ends of the rows. I will try this method. It almost looks as if a stitch is skipped at the end of each row, but I now see that is where the circle join occurs.

    • @CrochetFiberArt
      @CrochetFiberArt  3 года назад +2

      You are exactly correct. The stitch that looks like it's skipped is where the join happens. And there isn't any reason to do the join, unless you are changing colors, you're right again :-)
