I have listened to so many videos and followed their instructions but the color change was still imperfect. Yours is so simple and the finished piece was absolutely perfect just like you quoted and demonstrated in the video. You have made my day!
Best explanation I have found for making this happen!!! AND THEN you proceed to show us how to do the join if we are working with vertical stripes instead of horizontal like that of a bee!! Girl/Woman, You Rock!!! You are the Bomb, the Bomdiggity, a Queen to be sure!!! Thank You SO much!!! It seems to me like whether or not one is changing colors they should be beginning each round this way so that the rounds actually start and stop on the same level instead of having that jog which to me when I'm crocheting makes the round more of a wonky spiral, which bugs me to no end!!! So not only have you shown me how to make invisible color changes, you have shown me how to join rounds and continue, invisible and more evenly instead of that wonky leaning I can see after each round...unless I'm doing something wrong and it shouldn't be doing that without a color change but I have a feeling that it's not my technique just the way it goes without intervention like this?? Much Love!!!
Omg, I'm working on a project involving small flowers and so far they've all turned out lopsided because of the spiral, but that jobless join is a GAME CHANGER 😮 thank you so much
I really enjoyed your video as it showed exactly how to seamlessly change colour. It's the first time I have understood by following the way you explained and showed. Thank you from England
Thank you very, very much!! I'll be looking for a really invisible joint for years and this is the best technique I've found. Very useful, as many videos of this technique do not show the color change! This is the color change with best cost benefit at all! Ü No more ss +chain!! 😊
Genia. Es el primero que puedo decir que el cambio de color se ve perfecto. Yo trabajo esa técnica para inicio de vuelta perfecto, pero nunca lo use para cambio de color perfecto. Muchísimas gracias. 😊
the best of the best ! I saw a million of videos on youtube et no way ...always imperfections..now your tuto is just amazing ! thanks a lot. Invisible join is the nightmare of the beginner ...
This is great! Have some striped projects coming up, this will be perfect! I don't like the slip stitch/chain 1, this seems much easier to follow. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I've never seen this method, and I loved it! It was amazing to learn about vertical stripes!!! My best to you.
Video molto bello! Non conoscevo questo metodo! Mi hai dato un grande aiuto! Grazie!! Mi sono iscritta al.tuo canale! Aspetto i tuoi prossimi video! Ciao!!! 🤗
I have tried a few ways to have the best invisible join, but yours looks much better if prefect join. I will subscribe and thumbs up. thank you for sharing .
I’ve searched so much, I really hope this is the lucky one. I’m making a bee for a sweet teacher and really want the lines perfect, the school mascot is a bee. Thank you for sharing. It looks easy so far, but Ihave to do it. Thanks again great tutorial.
So just for clarification....that FIRST stitch, the one where you come in from the back and grab the previous stitch....that does NOT count as the first stitch, correct?
@@corgiscrochet5578 OK now I’m confused. On your video, you always say when you come in through the back and grab the loop you go into that same exact stitch to start the round. Your response to the question is saying otherwise. Can you please clarify this as I really want to stop the jogging seam from happening. Thanks!
Your stitching is tighter (too tight) due to your yarn unders. Change to yarnnovers, and you will see a tremendous difference in your stitching tension. You may never go back to the yarn unders... 😉
I appreciate the feedback, but that is intentional on my part! I use the regular yarn over for things I want to keep loose like blankets or clothing. However, I’ve found that the yarn under helps keep the stitches tight and neat in amigurumi so that stuffing won’t escape and the stitches have that neat x-shape!
Hi, why do you do the front - back at the end/beginning of every row even when you don’t change colors? Can it be done only when you change the yarn color? Thanks
You definitely can! When I only have one color change, I usually switch to this join method one or two rows before the change so the line evens out, then change back to working in rounds after that.
@@jessicahamric7590either way is correct, it's up to preference! Some people prefer X stitch (yarn under) for amigurumis and V stitch (Yarn over) for sweaters but like I said, up to you what you want to do
Most crochet designers and teachers give examples of why there is such a huge difference. It may be preferance but there's also a huge difference in amount of yarn used hook size needed and such if changing from a pattern designed using a yo and opposed to a yu
How about everybody does it the way they like it the way they want it all comes out the same in the end right?! My grandmother did it different than my mother and my aunts as well as I do things different than all of them. But all looks good at the end of the day.
Thank you 😊 after 4 yrs crocheting this is the easiest explanation I've ever come across 🙏

Omg I love that you have an example for everything 😆 ❤
Thankyou so much for sharing this. I have spent hours looking for a way to join without that awful step up with the colour's
Thank you so much! I found a video using this technique but it was in French!! So very happy to have found your English version!!
Great tutorial thanks :D wondering when the corgis will appear? haha
Thank you for this video. It makes the joyless join easy 😊
Thank you for sharing! Amazing and so simple 🧶❤️🧶
Thank you for sharing! Very helpful
This is amazing but I’m confused as to why you have to change from the jogless join to normal amigurumi I don’t like the jump it creates
I have tried a few ways to have the best invisible join, but yours looks much better if prefect join. I will subscribe and thumbs up. thank you for sharing .
Thank you! Of all the videos I've watched, I like this one the best for a jogless color change.
Thank you! This was very helpful!!!
Absolutly perfect. Thanks for this Video 👍👍🌸🌸
omg thank you!!! 😭❤🎉

I’m going to give this a try! Thank you!!!😊
Congratulations! A great video!

If I understand what you are asking, that would be correct!

Perfeito. Parabéns

Гениально !!!!
Wow, thank you very much! ❤❤
Thank you very helpful.

Not "jobless" - the term of art is "jogless".
Merci 👍🙂
Thank you it's a big help ❤
Thanks a lot!!
Can someone explain why you transition out of the jobless join?
Tnq that's really neat.
I wish it was bigger so we could see it better. What your crocheting is sooo small I can’t see what your doing
Thank you ❤
Does it matter if you yarn over or yarn under?
In my experience, no! You can also use this technique when working with other stitches in the round, like double crochet
💖💖👍👍🙏🙏👍👍💖💖
Ótimo ... Brasil
Doesn't make sense.. at some point you just speed through and stop explaining.. 😢
You are doing a yarn under
That's why I was confused too a yarn under uses less yarn and gives a completely different look to the stitch. So what is correct?
@@jessicahamric7590either way is correct, it's up to preference! Some people prefer X stitch (yarn under) for amigurumis and V stitch (Yarn over) for sweaters but like I said, up to you what you want to do
