  • Check out this great color changing method that gives a clean and easy transition. Use it for any stitch height, for rows and rounds, and any location on your piece! This would even be a great way to add a new ball of yarn when you run out of color.

Wow, this feels really good. I especially like that the weave-ins don’t start from exactly the same point. It wasn’t just the bump from the same point that bothered me. The overall stretch and flexibility was not the same as the whole rest of the fabric. Having the weave-ins start from two points eliminates that reduced stretch. Thank you so much for sharing this.

No, I haven't seen this before. But, I'm going to try it. It looks BETTER. I'm crocheting an afghan right now, so I have to join new skeins a lot. I notice the 2 ends being loose, make a messy stitch. Especially with soft yarn. So doing this way gives more structure to the stitch you're making during yarn change. I'm excited to try this. I've been "binging" your videos all morning!!! Great channel. TFS! I will report back after I try it. Austin TX USA

I have learnt a easier and tail free change of colour or same colour join. The only thing is that you have to work out how much yarn you would need to get to the colour change or same colour join.
