GENIUS! I’ve been crocheting since me and Jesus were in high school 🤣 and I’ve never seen these! Thank you for sharing Donna! This will definitely be implemented in my projects from now on . 🥰🧶

Hi this is Genius I'm been struggling with my edges and and ive been looking on how to do straight edges finally this works practicing now thank you so much I crochet blankets and donate them to homeless, nursing homes and hospitals for babys thank you again. 😍
Greetings from Mumbai, India. Soooo happy to have come across this video as I am making a baby blanky which I have unraveled a zillion times as I wasnt happy with the edging. Now in this final attempt, I have followed your instructions for double crochet and cannot tell you how great it now looks. Cant thank you enough for this video. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wow what a good idea, I have been trying to rid the bumps . Thank You for all of your videos. My crocheting has been getting better with your instructions. Been watching for the last few years. Thank You again.
i used to struggle with the first method but i altered it to make it easier for me to crochet. instead of wrapping the hook and holding on tight, i twist the yarn before i insert into the stitch. then i just flick the twisted yarn over my hook before the final pull through two. that's what works for me these days anyway, i think it looks nicer than the stacked stitches
You are amazing. I was watching this technique on a different channel. I could not understand until I watched your video. All your tutorials are wonderful. .
I've been experimenting with various techniques to eliminate the gap caused by the turning chain. This is the best tutorial so far. I prefer the first one for double crochet & the second one for single crochet. Thanks for sharing!
Donna, this is AMAZING! I have been struggling with making straight edges, almost to the point of tears! I have so many things I want to make but finding that last stitch was difficult. You are the best teacher ever! I like to use markers but i know the placement is always off. Goodbye tears!
I would like to thank you for all your informative RUclips videos. I have been crocheting since I was a child, your videos have been a game changer for me. I crochet more than I ever did before. Thank You again
I love the stacked singles, but have never tried using it on the very first stitch in the starting chain. I’m going to start doing that now. Thanks! And your nails are gorgeous! 🤩
Desde Buenos Aires comienzo a seguirte hoy 19/2/24 con esta genial forma de dejar parejas las terminaciones. Maravilloso!! Hace 50 años que tejo crochet, me encanta. Cariños
Brillant . This is a game changer. I love these tips. I will definitely be using these on my new projects. Thank you so much for all your great videos. 😊😊😊
Your NAILS!! 🥰😍🥰😍 These tips are great, thank you. I recently learned and used the second method for a baby blanket I was making, and I will certainly be trying the others to see which works best for me 🤗🧶
Thanks so much for the tips. I find the second method much easier than the first. In my past, I failed miserably with the standing stitch. So I'm thankful that you have two methods.😅😅😊
Hey Donna, beautiful nails 💅. A favour please. Could you show how to end your row in DC? I think I always insert my hook in the wrong stitch and end up with a horrible looking edge
Good morning Donna so I have a question I’m doing a lemon peel stitch pillow chained 57. is the solution to straight edges pretty much not chaining one even if the pattern says so? because my pattern is chain 57 (skip to second stitch sc stitch across all 57) then once I get to end chain one turn work and begin (sc)(dc) my edges are not too straight but I believe it’s because of that chain one instead of just turning as I’m watching your examples it makes so much sense as to why I believe the straight edges method would be just to turn and not chain one.
GENIUS! I’ve been crocheting since me and Jesus were in high school 🤣 and I’ve never seen these! Thank you for sharing Donna! This will definitely be implemented in my projects from now on . 🥰🧶
