      I saw her at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. She was in her 80s if she was a day, and so full of life, she could’ve been in her 40s or 50s. She was a wonderful woman with an amazing personality and a great big beautiful voice! I am so fortunate to have been able to see her in person.

      Amazing. I'm a young person but love deeply the 50's music that is a top high pike ! of musical history. That decade is the authentic last time of glorious jazz and the birth place of rock and pop then, the modern music

    Oh goodness she was wonderful... she went to college (Georgetown) in her 60's and got a degree in Theology. She was just incredible on every level!

    someone use Queen latifah for a whole cinematic biopic before its too late. we don't need them cheap ass lifetime movie. we need the real thing

      "hollywood biopics movies" ain't the real thing, clown. Documentaries, produced by serious historians of the subject matter a la Ken Burns, are the real thing. Hollywood entertainment movies are NOT history...they are entertainment where facts and story truth go to get lost.

    猫が小学一年の時の映像。
    日本ではこの当時の映像あるのかな?
    この年は、エルヴィスがサンレコードで「That's All Right」でデビューした記念すべき年だ!
    そして、この曲こそ、世界を変えた一曲となった^^

    AGAINNNNN? No no no, please, post more videos for the color era (sept. 1965 - mar. 1971).

    • @TomElvisSmith
      @TomElvisSmith 4 года назад +9

      They post plenty of color videos. I personally would like to see more black and white videos, but with more of a diversity of artists. There is no reason why there can't be more variety in the uploads here. Of course, if they ever start uploading multiple videos of my favorite singers like Teresa Brewer and the many others I've requested to no avail, then I wouldn't complain either!

    Compare this singing to Cardi B. and WAP. What did you come up with?

    • @soundsaboutesha9144
      @soundsaboutesha9144 3 года назад +7

      you cannot compare, times are different and they arent the same kind of artist. there was raunchy music back in these days as well like tutti fruitti or drill daddy drill
