    I actually felt my heart beating at that end, just...knowing that Diorama is out there somewhere and you can physically look at it just...legitimately blows my mind. I feel like in the future, as long as it survives, things like this will end up in museums being admired.

      So I saw this at a launch party for the game, it was pretty cool. I can't say it was the centre piece of the party but people would wonder over to it and stare at it for a little bit maybe take a picture and go chat with friends.
      If I had to give feedback to the creator I'd say to try and make the flights flicker or do a very slight fad cause it's a very static piece as is.
      I think its either sat somewhere with the game publisher or it got sent to the game developer (more likely), but I've not seen it since that party. So as far as I know it was on display for around 3 days during the event.

    "How to express the depth and breadth of the ocean in this limited space?"
    While being worried about being able to do the thing you're kind of known for is very relatable, I honestly couldn't help but laugh a little. Your ability to express the vastness of a scene through only a small portion of it is honestly what keeps bringing me back to your channel.

    I'm a political news and information "junkie", and I'm always stressed out. A few months back, RUclips randomly recommended your video of "The well that never runs dry". I had never watched anything like that before. I was so impressed, I binge watched all of your other videos that same night. RUclips began recommending other artists who made dioramas with resin. But none of them were as good as yours; not just your excellent work and amazing attention to detail, but the video production as well. You are an incredible artist! I was so happy to see this notification today, and I'm so glad I spent the time to watch it. Your videos bring me peace and leave me speechless in wonderment. You are so talented! The intricate designs and creative use of materials and unique techniques, combined with your patience and perfect placement of each little handmade piece, results in absolutely beautiful works of art. Thank you for this!

    I am once again blown away by the amount of detail you give to your projects. It looks absolutely amazing!!! small things like adding in the fish in an incredibly clever way, really helps give the diorama scale! • @anotherperson5397
      @anotherperson5397 2 года назад +6

      It looked pretty cool when I got to see it in person but I think the diorama was more of a marketing piece to drag around to conventions when showing the game. I imagine that it's sat with the game developer atm.
      As for concept art, that doesn't usually take the form of a diorama (unless you have money and time to burn) because you have to iterate over the art quite quickly to find out what you want for the final game. You might have hundreds of possible drawings of a main character before their look is finalised... would be really cool to see someone try though

    You're like a true artisan in the past, like even though it's modern time, any masterpieces always takes months to complete since they're doing everything by hands. They took pride in their quality and won't rush things but also not trying to slow down either. Every steps always filled with precise details that we just know, this masterpiece is meticulously crafted by skilful hands. You must be proud of this one, as you should be.

      @Aurumai 2 года назад +9

    • @raydunakin
      @raydunakin 2 года назад +35

      @@Aurumai I don't know. I suppose it's possible that it could spontaneously combust but it would probably take a massive amount of resin to do that.
      BTW, plaster also produces heat as it sets, and can get pretty hot. My brother once got the bright idea to make a plaster cast of his hand. He filled a plastic bucket with plaster and stuck his hand in past the wrist. It didn't occur to him that the wrist is narrower than the hand. By the time the heat was starting to build up, the plaster was already hard enough that he couldn't get his hand out. Soon he was frantically running around shrieking and bashing the bucket against the concrete driveway, etc. Fortunately he managed to shatter the plaster before suffering serious burns.

      Please stop diminishing the artistic talent and hard work that goes into creating digital 3d models. It's not the compliment you think it is and it's incredibly disrespectful to both traditional and digital artists, it's not 'easy'. Art in any and all forms is hard work and calling one form the 'easy way' just shows everyone how little you know on the subject and how rude you are. You can compliment someone without bringing everyone else down you know.

    Whatching these videos is like watching pro lego builders, you have no idea why they are using some of the things they are using, but it looks super cool at the end. The submarine looks incredible btw. Hope to see more great stuff.

    15:50 "whoever designed this ship is probably a genius"
    and whoever can build this ship from scratch is probably a master at their craft

    This Ship is awesome. A piece of fine Model Art in my opinion. This would fit wonderfully in a Boy's Room along with other Models. Something to be very proud of. Thanks for the upload.

    Genius invented the game, but one more genius reinvented this diorama. Great work, speachless we enjoyed every second of this video making. Greetings from Bosnia!!!

    ゲームをプレイしなくても、とても細かく作っているのが分かります。船を作るのに三ヶ月もかかって、作るのが遅いとおっしゃっていましたが、三ヶ月だけで作れるなんて、作業がとても効率的なんだと思います、、、。私だったら1年以上かかりそうです(そもそもこんなにすごい作品は作れません。私には不可能。。。)

    I had never heard of this game before, but it was fascinating regardless. So many small and intricate parts to form one of the coolest ships I've seen.

    Absolute master craftsman. How do you keep the resin from thermal cracking being so deep? I’ve never poured over 6 inches without cracking.

    Your attention to detail is amazing! I'm very happy, grateful, and amazed of the time you take to make sure it is completely accurate and holds up well when it comes to putting things together. Keep taking the time you need to do these projects, no matter how long. Cause I'm sure whoever receives these beautiful dioramas will appreciate the time, dedication it took to making these look almost life like.
