Between the "it's okay that they're burnt, I'm not going to eat them" comment and the repeated takes of the pillars toppling over, I love to see the humor and the fun in the process of making all of this.
I'm also cackling over that, it makes all the hard work looks fun as well 🤣
Thanks for liking my husbands' hands
Proof that sometimes art doesn’t need to be taken so seriously. 😊

It almost hurts to watch how much details are in dioramas, details that some people won't see in the final product (like the stairs, for example in this case), but as an artist myself, I understand that too. You seem to really love what you do and put a lot of dedication into it, that's something not everyone has. ❤️
As a person who loves tiny things, dioramas and stop motion I’m the one who’s gonna point out the stairs and make everyone look at it
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW:
This (Rani ka Vav: Present day in patan)is intricately constructed in 11th century is a subterranean water storage system and was built by Queen Udaymati for her husband King Bhimdev I of the Chalukya (Solanki) dynasty.
Designed in the Maru-Gurjara style as an inverted temple highlighting the sanctity of water, it has seven levels of stairs, more than 500 principal sculptures and over a thousand minor ones on its panelled walls!

Did anyone else notice he hid India in this amazing creation? The biggest chunk of "stone" in the bottom left of the diorama is in the shape of the country of India.
Oh shoot yes i just noticed that
I noticed that detail and thought how generous of him to add the country where this "mystical well" was presumably located at

I’m kinda offended that this only got 225k likes, this man took 4 months to make this. The skill and patience he has is indescribable, some people either get bored or frustrated when their work takes weeks. He should be getting paid like $1M a year for this, maybe getting accepted into a museum, he’s destined for incredible things and I hope he get’s whatever and I *mean* whatever.

That method for leaves is genius. I was needing leaves that scale a month ago and had to look everywhere for just the right plastic fern, and I used all I had so I can't do another. Thank you for both entertainment and information!
As an Indian this video was extra special. Thank you so much - I had shivers watching this because it was so beautiful and so sweet. Matsya is an avatar of Vishnu, and you depicted this with so much love and care. Love your work and hope you get all the blessings in life.

As an Indian, I have never felt that foreigners are interested in Indian history and culture.. Thank you for making such an amazing art.. Love from India 🇮🇳
How can anyone not be interested in Indian culture? India has some of the most beautiful ancient architecture and art in the world! Not only that, but the amazing food, festivals, forests, and people!! The history is rich, deep, and fascinating. I studied abroad there in college and can't wait to visit again some day. Love from America!
@@Valhalla43 Thanks A Lot For Your Kind Words. 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
I get what you mean. It's usually because India gets such a bad rap from north american media so others rush to conclusions, but the truth is india is just so rich in art, culture, history and so much more. Cheers from Canada, mate! Hope you find your day was a good one!
@@Sparky16 Indeed. Thanks For Sharing Facts. 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
That's not true. I was ok at history in school as a kid and as I got older I appreciated history even more. Every country has had bad and great history. I like all kinds of history and the story's behind them. I only have problems when certain people start removing people's history because they are uneducated or to much hate in their hearts to learn and except it.
Absolutely loved the details.
> The artistic rendition of Matsya avatar
> That 'Hara' you wrote on those papers while painting them green.
> The Hindustani music in background

You're so special buddy. I would write a letter to PM of India to get this piece in our museum or something.

"What does a beautiful and majestic incarnation of God look like?"
Apparently a little bit like my old friend Auri...
He was a betta fish I kept for a few years... little guy was in terrible condition when I got him... no one thought he'd make it... but he did. He made an amazing recovery and went from this tiny, sad looking little fish, to the most majestic betta I've ever seen.
He died a little more than a year ago... I still miss him a lot, because he gave me a reason to get up in the morning, during a time that I really needed it.
I was just sitting here, shaking my head in disbelief watching how much effort you put into this. Every single step could well have been it's very own project. Hats off to your insane creativity and perseverance.
This is exactly how i felt watching this
When those freshly painted pillars fell over.....I felt that
same but i also cant help but gag at it because he tries SEVERAL times to not knockem over and YET they fall. commedic pain. even before painting em
Gods, monsters, magic water... So much care, love, skills and determination were needed for this beautiful creation, built from layers of lies and make beliefs. From an animal perspective, it makes no sense to waste resources and energy on lies. Art is really the enemy of practicality!
the level of detail is absurdly spectacular, all my support for these works of art
the fact that you did research and based your designs and even your guardian from actual indian culture and not just making things up just made my respect for you go up to a hundred man thank you for this ❤️
Nothing wrong with making it up
I can't even begin to imagine the level of patience required to build something like this...
Bruh when i saw he made those small leaves individually i was like HELL NO ur going to do that
I could have cried at the final reveal, there's something really special about this one. You're the best at what you do.
This diorama hits different. Not only must've it been incredibly tedious making all those miniscule details such as the leaves and the wall patterns, but the finished project looks PHENOMENAL. When the lights came on, my soul practically left my body. This is truly a beautiful work of art, something you should be very proud of. ✌️
This guy : *makes a pattern*
Oh that's pretty nice, very cool looking-
*PULLS OUT 60 MORE*

You really wake up some days and be like “yep, I feel like making the greatest piece of art known to man”
I've been a massive fan and followed a lot of diorama channels for years, I don't know why I'm finding you just know but no other channel has ever taken my breath away as much as you have. I was impressed and then more impressed and then even more and I couldn't close my mouth for over ten minutes just in AWE of what I was witnessing. Thank you for creating these. You're easily the best in all of RUclips.
I love that the guardian looks like a Betta fish. The amount of detail in this is absolutely insane.
"I have not posted in months" good art takes time. I'm just glad that u are ok. I thought you had gotten sick
He really takes the “it’s the little things that matter” to the next level, and I LOVE it! (Every little small detail he adds just goes to show how passionate he is for his work, and honestly it really inspires me to get back to sculpting)
Yeah, watching someone pour their soul into a project like this is so inspiring to watch
I agree
But I cannot take you serious with that profile picture
Exactly. How many other's would have taken the time to create a stamp to create the ornate overhead for the arches that most people wouldn't even notice? Amazing work and it really is a pleasure to watch. I wish my mind worked in this creative way.
Damn! Those details!!! All those nakkashi, the arches, the matsya, the vegetation, the pavements, those little diya lights and even the background Indian music. Man, you deserve some serious respect. I am watching diorama for quite a few days and this is certainly the best ever possible. As an Indian, watching this masterpiece being created has filled me with immense pride and respect. I will for sure be sharing this with some of my friends that love doing painting and model making. Hats off to you four months is amazing for what you did here.
I went from, "How did this take two months?" to, "How did this *only* take two months?!" This is--and I'm not exaggerating--an absolute masterpiece. So much detail, so much work! And that guardian is *so* beautiful.
Well put.
Bravo Monsieur. Respect !
I love that you create everything by hand. It takes so much more time than 3d printing, but looks so much more real and detailed.
Seeing such respect and reverence for the Indian culture is inspiring. I would love to see the same artistic skill applied to the indigenous peoples of central America. There are some truly awe inspiring Aztec ruins that would be perfect for this unique Thalassophobic treatment. The culture is also rich with awe inspiring and terrifying deities.
You are by far the most skilled miniature sculptor I've ever had the privilege of encountering. Thank you for your beautiful works and may this life treat you very well.
oooohhhhhh YEAH i bet various cenotes would look AWESOME in diorama form
It’s been a hike since I’ve read a comment with emotion such as this, thank you.
Sorry to be "that guy", Hraefn, & I'm presuming English is a 2nd or 3rd language for you ? I think you meant, "Thalassophiliac", as 'phobic' relates to phobia, meaning an irrational fear of something, the suffix -philia means, a love of something, -phile refers to the person with that love, and -philiac refers to the actioning of that love....
Otherwise, I agree whole-heartedly, it would be awesome to see an Aztec themed diorama. The care, and attention to detail is jaw-dropping, from the little stamps to make the cornicing/facings of the windows & door-ways, to the leaves on the trees & the Ivy climbing the walls.... just absolutely stunning !!!
Anyways Hraefn, kindest regards & respects from Scotland... Paz
