Actually I'm pretty sure it's the other way around! He was an unbeatable King of Suave that could dance-cancel perfect-dodge everything Link threw at him, and then Link turned his music off and he _downgraded_ to a generic smoke dragon thing with ~eyes on the inside~.
I love how this indicates that Calamity Ganon wasnt prepared for Link after 100 years, but Suavemente Ganondorf was prepared to meet Link again after 3 minutes

Was anticipating seeing you likely make Raru rip links arm back off since after you beat the dragon you lose the magic hand but even without that this was brilliant. Maaannn guess I need to watch the wr speed run then to see it. I haven't seen a speed run since around the game's release.
That entire fight is very good at conveying how fucked you are (while not actually being all that hard). Between his off-the-screen health bar, counter-bullet-timeing, and straight up breaking your heart containers it's pretty clear that rules basically don't apply to him.

My only complaints about the totk plot is that nobody aside from the really important characters remembers Link saved the world just a few years before the second apocalypse, also that he and Zelda came back without any side effects from the transformation OR the arm surgery Rauru did on Link to restore his gloomed arm, I wasn't expecting anything too grimdark, just that Zelda could have kept some dragon characteristics or becoming partially Zonai, and that Link kept Rauru's cool dragon arm
After Gannon was defeated, the corruption in links arm vanished, leaving it with no purpose and allowing rauru to finally rest
@@aaronanderson3621 It sounded like Link had lost almost all of his arm when Rauru said he had to “salvage what he could”, even if he didn’t keep Rauru’s arm I think he should have still permanently lost his original one, like Finn from Adventure Time

Link going from years of normal behavior to suddenly clipping through a wall should have been Zelda’s first clue that she was now at the prologue of the sequel and she’d better watch out
I have a feeling link's behavior was never normal in this universe. at least not after he woke up in BOTW. You can see zelda facepalming at the beginning when he starts clipping, like "here we go again with this" and once she catches up with him, you can see her angry, about to tell him off like "how many times have I told you to stop clipping through the walls to get places?" before they get distracted by Ganondorf. It's one of the things I really love about Terminal's animations, he can convey a lot with fairly simple facial expressions, and he does, because there's very little dialogue in these. It's very impressive!

Ganondorf exploding into the Demon Dragon when his music is paused as a cinematic parallel to Ultra Necrozma breaking free of Dialga's time freeze. Simply too suave/powerful to stay in one place. Beautiful.

Phasing through matter and break gravity is part of his regular Moveset (ascend) though. :p

@@luiginumbers6268I think the longest range would honestly be too much for a spear. Probably more like...Zweihander, lance, rapier, shortsword, shank, and finally they break it with their hand and make a knuckleduster for a final all-out attack.

In game it wasn't funny imo, more like a threat and a challenge (but then again, threats and challenge in this game are a joke) imo, but he did manage to make me surprised about something i expected, and that's a feat few can boast about

Ive had this video in my watch later for a WHILE. just now, I finally beat the game. So ive now watched the video, and I liked it lots, thank you.
I got the game when it released and have 190 hours, and I was scared to conplete it, but now im done, and Im extremely satisfied.
Ganon pulling a perfect evade on me when I fought him was scarier than finding gloom hands for the first time. Fantastic video as always.
For a single player game, having a boss DODGE attacks instead of straight blocking has the same terror as, "Dark spirit GOD has arrived to END YOUR FLAWLESS RUN"
Truly, I was yelling through that whole fight 😂
Just as scary as how he can two-shot the Hylian Shield and permanently steal your hearts again like he had at the beginning

I love how you actually managed to still make the Ganondorf fight feel threatening like in-game! Also, Zelda just being used to (and frustrated by) Link casually pulling speedrun tricks all the time is great XD

5:40 I thought the master sword was going to be broken here since Link never actually set it back to Zelda.
Fun fact: that’s what happens in the game, you just get *given* the master sword for free.
Yeah but the implication is that dragon Zelda has the sword because you sent it to her back in the past.

This has everything I’m looking for in a Zelda game: excessive violence, lots of running, crashing through walls, link yelling like a madman and especially Suave Ganondorf. This was a speedrun masterpiece and I wish to see more.
With a return of Suavemente, it's a genuine risk the video will be taken down.
Let us hope history does not repeat itself.
