It's a literal war machine that didn't even need an explaination about what is happening and just went to fulfill the only objective - kick ginger's ass
I really like how accurate this is to the speedrun route of the time, even little details like shooting an arrow to lure the bokoblin make an accurate bullet time bounce on the bokoblin can be found. Also the route is really different these days with windblight skip, wind bombs and bomb lift smuggle slides (search them on youtube if you don't know, i think i remembered their names correctly)

The "subspace emissary" post credit scene shows us that the speed demon managed to clone himself throught the parallel dimension, so him possessing link is possible

I think it's because his animation style lends itself to the unhinged nature of an actual botw speedrun, and he acknowledges every silly little detail about the run to make it all feel more accurate. I love after he's done slapping the king around and he just stops and lines up the spacing for the btb.
I’m half convinced the real reason Ganon sent an army of Guardians after Link and Zelda while he just kept flying around the castle roaring is because he was too terrified of Link to go himself. And rightfully so.

One thing I like to think when watching a Breath of the Wild speedrun is that Link didn't actually forget anything during his 100 year nap and is just really pissed at Calamity Ganon. All there is in Link's mind is rage that's been festering for a century. It hasn't even registered to him that almost all his friends are dead because all he is thinking about is pummeling Ganon until there's nothing but a stain on the ground with whatever he finds along the way.
He had been trapped there… Down there, for a century… With nothing but his own thoughts… His regrets on how he failed to save his friends… Zelda… Mipha… Daruk… Urbosa… Revali… Everything he cared about… Gone… Gone because of him… *Ganon…* As he stewed in his own thoughts, he focused constantly on his failures… Regret turned to Sorrow… Sorrow turned to Anger… Anger turned to Hatred… The years passed on, blending with each other, days and years, minutes and eternity began to feel one and the same… Still his anger, his HATRED grew… Trapped within his mind, he screamed… He snarled… He ROARED with undying rage… Hatred overwhelmed his mind… It consumed his every moment… Soon everything else besides his hatred for the Calamity became but a distant memory… His duty… His Kingdom… His friends… *His humanity…* *His name…* When his century long torment ended… What crawled out wasn’t Link. Something I love about breath of the wild speed runs are that there’s an implication that after witnessing all his friends and loved ones die Link is left with a burning rage that allows him to keep his memories (a bit like how Maul was able to keep himself alive through his anger in the clone wars). And this rage causes him to form a vendetta against calamity Ganon and he goes mental.

Something I love about breath of the wild speed runs are that there’s an implication that after witnessing all his friends and loved ones die Link is left with a burning rage that allows him to keep his memories (a bit like how Maul was able to keep himself alive through his anger in the clone wars). And this rage causes him to form a vendetta against calamity Ganon and he goes mental.

I've watched this so many times. It's one of the best things I've ever seen on this platform. I catch new things every time I watch it. This time, it was a Minish Cap (or two) sighting. Hahaha, thanks TerminalMontage for your masterpieces and gracing us with your talent!
