I remember climbing to a talus or something. It was my first encounter with one, and I had no idea how to fight it, so I ran up and tried to hit it, and freaked out when it did no damage. Then I just ran and somehow managed to get to the bazaar.

For the lost woods I thought that it would be fun to follow the cute particles in the air, because they would turn directions sometimes. I spoke with the particles while I followed them and boom, Deku tree.
I agree with newbie Link when it came to bombing the Hinox on Eventide Isle. I ticked that Hinox off by accident and made a mad dash to the shore until I had enough room to just keep chucking and alternating bombs at it until it died. It didn't help that there was an Octorock spitting rocks at me just off the shore while I was bombing the Hinox though.
I stood on the cliff and let the bombs roll. I was too far away/high up for it to hit me. It took ages, and the bombs always had to reach a specific place (close to the leg, or the hand as it reached down). I used the same tactic early game when there were lots of monsters, instead of learning how to flurry rush and stuff.
TH3 J0K3R There’s a canyon you can pass through to get to Gerudo Valley. That’s where everything is, it just takes a while to walk if you don’t bring a horse

This very much reminds me of me watching my mom play BotW for the first time after I had already beaten it. It was a good mix of me messing with her and laughing at her struggling with the hard/annoying bits and her coming up with clever hacks I never even dreamed of and getting some of the stuff I struggled with on the first try. Actually, the best method to navigate through the lost woods is to have a torch lit when you enter. Simply follow the embers the torch emits, and you’ll be fine.
So the horse part kinda brought back memories. I used to have pretty good horses in BoTW, before my Switch was stolen and I lost my progress. I'd usually give them a cool name or something.. but for a while I had a series of horses that all had almost the same name. R.I.P All my Horses and their stupid names.

So we all know Link lost his memory when he woke up from the shrine. As someone who never played video games before BOTW, I truly felt like Link was as dumb to everything as I was. The stone talus in the field? The moment i saw it move I booked it. I petted the horse forever when I first got one. The Blood Moon scared the crap outta me I was running all over. Impa bored me so much. The korok seeds were accidental finds and i tried to be nice. The Yiga freaked me out, I had no idea why they wanted to kill me. Etc.
9:19 i just went to the top of the closest hill, used revali’s gale to get a bit more altitude then just glided down and landed near the top of the tower
16:57 I think I used to collect silent princesses and hunt down octoroks for their balloons to send the princesses over to Zelda in the castle. I didn’t realize the balloons popped before getting to the castle 😅
7:02 I did the same thing because i was too afraid of going near the Hinox so i kept bombing it at a safe distance so i could kill it. It work. . . But I spend a good 10 or maybe more minutes killing it with only bombs.
11:01 the most efficient way instead of that is to run into the lynel with your master cycle zero, jump onto it and attack while on it's back, then when it bucks you off, slow down time and shoot some elemental arrows. Repeat step 2, 3, and 4 and your good to go 😁
I use stasis+ and then beat them while they’re frozen, after they break out of it whatever action they were doing is canceled and they kinda fall and you can hit them a few times after that before running. Stasis+ is an abused rune for me

ok so a few days ago, I was at my friend’s house and she just bought the game. So, I did the thing at 1:07 with her.... her reaction was pure gold XDD
7:02 I did the same thing because i was too afraid of going near the Hinox so i kept bombing it at a safe distance so i could kill it. It work. . . But I spend a good 10 or maybe more minutes killing it with only bombs.
Funny enough. This is exactly how my friend acted during my playthrough
11:01 the most efficient way instead of that is to run into the lynel with your master cycle zero, jump onto it and attack while on it's back, then when it bucks you off, slow down time and shoot some elemental arrows. Repeat step 2, 3, and 4 and your good to go 😁
Rlly? For the shatterback lynel I used urbosas fury, mounted and hit it with the weapon outside the zora castle shrine
Why use elemental arrows, they don't do anything to lynels besides the arrow itself
I use stasis+ and then beat them while they’re frozen, after they break out of it whatever action they were doing is canceled and they kinda fall and you can hit them a few times after that before running. Stasis+ is an abused rune for me

with an ice arrow and fast fingers you can do it with base stamina
