Great show. I grew up on a ranch, just as Casey, went to war, came home also. My father, Uncle, Grandfather all died, and politician's and lawyers took the ranch for subdivisions. This show is what happens to ALL farms and ranches. Watching this on t.v. hurts hard and breaks my soul, but its real and all y'all need to see it and believe it. Go help a farmer or rancher, they need it.
💯💯💯!!! But, people won't see it til it's too late. It's happening where I live as well. The house, and land, I live in with my husband has been in his family over 100 years. Although, it's not a ranch, and hasn't had live stock for years. It's sad to see all these subdivisions popping up around us....There was a fancy BMW sitting in front of "lots" that had been sold, he stopped next to them, rolled down his window and said, "You know, there's a lot of old timers out here. Just because you all are moving out here, doesn't mean we're going to change our ways around here." The BMW sped off after that. Thankfully, the houses haven't been built yet on those lots. There's also a rumor going around here that a fancy landscaper, who owns his own business is buying up land so he and his friends can build their multimillion dollar homes on 10 acre lots. It's so sad...But, the rich do not care. They think just because they have unlimited money, they can do whatever they want! It infuriates me! I grew up a city gal, and until I met my husband, I never knew how peaceful the country life was. I fell in love with the small community, and the charm. I just wish there was a way to protect rural communities, and their way of life. Anyway, I could go on and on...As the other commenter stated, I feel your pain as well. God Bless! 🇺🇸
I agree with you, even though I didn’t grow up on a ranch. I see it happening here too towns in my area used to be one or two streets, now it feels like farm and ranch land are being cleared for construction faster then we can blink.
I don't know who the 32 thumbs down are but they have serious issues to deal with. Yellowstone is the best I have every seen and Mary Gauthier is an outstanding talent. I guess those 32 need a little mercy now.
I don't know if you're interested in this or not, but on the off chance, here goes...A lot of the music on the show is from great western classic movies! The theme from Clint Eastwood's masterpiece "unforgiven" is among them. "Claudia's theme, unforgiven" look here on RUclips. Look it up and listen, and then remember the Yellowstone episode. I play guitar so I noticed it. What's really significant about this choice is that in "Unforgiven" William Muny was a very bad,and dangerous man, who reforms under the love of a good woman, he became a family man. Its played as troubled Kayce Dutton (a man with a similar story to William Muny) rides out at dawn in the show opening scene. love 💕🎵
Kat, season 1, episode 6, the remembering..has "Claudia's theme, unforgiven Ost" written by Clint Eastwood for the 1992 great western classic, "Unforgiven"! Love to you and yours, stay safe and well 🎵💕
I grew up on a council housing estate but I was riding horses sense I was about 8 year's old and when I was about 12/13 years old every travellers clan in my country was looking for me because they was not a horse 🐴 I could not break in and me and my brother and to cousins who are brothers as well would climb out of our house at night and go and get some horses and have fun all night, the new papers and politicians give us the name the midnight cowboys oboy the were the best days of our lives growing up, and I always knew it I should have been born on a big ranch like Yellowstone with loads of horse's and cow's , , James from Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪💚
No matter how old ah girl is, she's always gonna need her daddy; sadly the 14th of this month (Aug) will be 2 years since i said my last goodbye to mine.
Great video and thank you for putting it up, beautiful song and it definitely fits the yellowstone series well. The whole series has great songs from lots of real artists. I've heard Whiskey Myers, Stapleton, Sturgil Simpson, Ryan Bingham, and I could go on and on. Those artists ain't known near as well as they should be, never heard on the mainstream stations and its a crying shame. All mainstream "country" stations play s*** that should be on the pop stations, they're not real country to me. I hate where Nashville has gone with country music. But you can still find some great artists at the honky tonks in the music city if you get out and look for them, but it does feel like they're a dying breed unfortunately 😔
great song. I binge watched season 1 this weekend, and as soon as I heard that song I looked it up to see who the performer and writer was. I'm happy that you included the whole song, but wish the video would have been complete, all the way to the end of the music
Absolutely agree🌷 Thank you, bcuz all we have are the videos until season 2😔 What a phenomenal series, and compilation of (IMO) way underrated music artists...like Ryan Bingham for starters😊
Did i mention i cried the moment i heard the first lyrics of this song. There some similar great songs with mexican country music. But this one take the prize
Only a few persons in this world are fortunate to grow up in a place like this or in any ranch in the U.S. I was sure not one of them. I grew up in the city of Compton CA. I sure hope to be fortunate enough for a life this this in another life time. For now im contempt just daydreaming about it. :'/
The video ends too abruptly and cuts off the song. Only so-so. You need to make a better one. The show only used the first verse of the song. That would be the only one to use.

So true ..

Best series on TV ever in my opinion!

True life stories in Yellowstone,,,Could watch it 100X
My God...I love this song. Stirs the soul while leaving peace...)
Thank you.
I lost my mother late last night. Felt so empty and dry until I asked my smart speaker to play this. The dam burst.
I’m so sorry😔
Kevin Costner is wonderful in Yellowstone as the patriarch of the Dutton family.
I dedicate this song to my father and brothers, and being a sole survivor...... could use a little mercy now
Never Forget!
I feel for you my brother sorry for your loss
This show has the best choice of music for its scenes.

My Dad would have LOVED this show. He would have made me watch it for an update every week. Cause he was 90% blind but still loved T.V
As December 2023, we own a small piece of land and get so much problems keeping it. The big rich farmers neighbor just want to eat us alive.
Brazil Love you , yellotone
Best thing I ever watched. Guys I'm gonna die today. I dont want to. Glad we got share something.
I hope you didnt die. Hope youre still there.
great song. I binge watched season 1 this weekend, and as soon as I heard that song I looked it up to see who the performer and writer was. I'm happy that you included the whole song, but wish the video would have been complete, all the way to the end of the music
I don't believe the song could be more true than to this show.
Thank you for taking the time to make this tribute to John Dutton.
Absolutely agree🌷
Thank you, bcuz all we have are the videos until season 2😔

Well not real Blake Shelton. The fake one.

Amen
I'm sorry I'm a little naive but who is this female singer singing in this video? The title says, "John Dutton." I'm confused.
Sung by Mary Gauthier who wrote it.
Don't know either what John Dutton got to do with it.
It played out an episode of Yellowstone
Chevel brought me here!
who sings this beautiful song AWESOME!!! IS IT BRYAN BINGHAM?????
Mary Gauthier.
@@Eveholics THANK YOU
Do you know who sings this version?
Analia Ar Mary Gauthier
Thank´s!!
The song is REAL. John Dutton is fictional. There's a difference.
No. There isnt.
Switching photos to fast for a slow song. Id try it slower with a fade
(sung by Mary Gauthier)
Kevin Costner is the only actor that makes YS WORK
American godfather
Is this a beautiful song performed by a mutant?
Deeply gratified I did not forward it.
Why don't you keep your rude comments to yourself?
What exactly is your problem with this song
