I love the moments between John and his grandson. It’s like he has discovered how to talk and react to kids but is still learning how to do so with his own grown up kids.
It's an intentional theme through the show. It's a redemption Arc for John. Remember this was the grandson he demanded be aborted, and Casey earned the brand for disobeying that demand. He's trying to right that wrong.
Hahahahahahaha. "Oh dad, the blush was f****d out of me years ago." "Jesues. Baby I love our man to man talks but we need to set some goddam boundries here. I can’t unhear that honey." Love that.
I will always love this one about drinking coffee. ‘It’ll stunt your growth’. I gave that same line to my Daughter and my Grandson and I got it when I was young
A true patriarch. Same as my grandfather and his father before him. 5th generation here. All i ever wanted was to do my old man proud to carry the legacy. I pray i can be.
Fortunately, we have President Biden - who governs with vast experience and uses it to his best ability and with humility and compassion. But too many are corrupted by power. position, and money.
I swear I love this series! One thing I love about it is their quotes to each other, it hits home a lot! It makes you appreciate your surroundings and what we have!
7:41 Stirred strong to mind the words of the late John Prine song - But dreaming just comes natural Like the first breath from a baby Like sunshine feeding daisies Like the love hidden deep in your heart
I’m watching this because my son wants a ranch and have the same dream my father had, all family in the same ranch. I’m a city boy that I never thought of that. But I’m digging the family leaving on the same street in same ranch lifestyle.
The best moment, in my opinion, is when John and Kayce were both at the summer camp and they brought their woman with them, their interaction in the morning was hilarious...
Quite ironic that the one he loves the most after his late wife is Tate, at the moment his one and only heir after all the Duttons are gone. If Kayce didn't refuse his command to have Tate aborted when Monica got pregnant, he would be left with no biological heir.
Season 4 was a disappointment. It started out strong with that 15-minute opening that pretty much concluded what Season 4 ended on, then it just slowed the breaks and repeated a bunch of things from the previous seasons. It felt like they were stalling to make sure they don't progress the story too much, just to ensure more seasons can happen.
It's sad but telling how all these clips are with everyone but Jamie, except that one where there's nothing fatherly about his response to Jamie reacting to being adopted. Still great acting though
The scene in S3E7 The Beating I just realized was supposed to be a full circle to Elsa and James Dutton from 1883 when she wants to marry Sam, the Lakota Indian especially since Elsa and Beth are both the blonde apple of their fathers' eye and they both 'fight like Comanche'. Subtle writing by Taylor.
Let’s recap John has failed as a father. All he’s ever done is uses children for his own benefit and His children are a product of those failure as a parent. Lee was just his personal bodyguard and Beth would do anything to please him even though he sees her as a disappointment not to mention, she’s a narcissist psychopath, and Jamie, even though he’s adopted, he basically chose his life for him by making him a go to lawyer when his personal lapdog rip breaks a law/murders anybody that gets in his way and his ranch and that leaves casey it’s just a broken soldier trying to do anything to protect the family at any cost
The values and morals in this show are so lacking in this new world and these generations. Pls find the good and true in all u do and say be humble and quite slow to anger and judge, and put God and family above all else.
"Son, if I spent a week thinking of ways to f**k up my day, I could NOT have come up with this." Love it.
“Learn how to be meaner than evil and still love your family and enjoy a sunrise” John Dutton
All men need to learn this.
That's something that Gemma Teller would say.
You think he loves his family lol?
@@Paul-ew5st it’s just a quote….
@@Paul-ew5st You think he doesn't?

I can't wait for season 5 when he ties his grandson down and brands him.
@@Paul-ew5st He's not that guy anymore. Now he's far more about mending bridges and making sure there is a legacy for the family.
Every line John says to Tate could be a life lesson for a person at any age. Great writing
Every parent and grandparent goes thru this
Hahahahahahaha.
"Oh dad, the blush was f****d out of me years ago."
"Jesues. Baby I love our man to man talks but we need to set some goddam boundries here. I can’t unhear that honey."
Love that.
That was my favorite talk between them
No father wants to hear that from their daughter. Metaphor or not
I will always love this one about drinking coffee. ‘It’ll stunt your growth’. I gave that same line to my Daughter and my Grandson and I got it when I was young
❤️
yes i heard that a many a time growing up
I got handed a cup of coffee
same here. always wondered if that was an old wives tale or not. im a grown man n still don't actually know if that's true or not
Yep, got the same talk about smoking. Took me 40+ years to quit and I haven't grown an inch back from 5' 9".
A true patriarch. Same as my grandfather and his father before him. 5th generation here. All i ever wanted was to do my old man proud to carry the legacy. I pray i can be.
Reminds me of my dad teaching morals and values of life and respect
For me, John and his time with‘Grandson’, are still my favorite parts of the show. They are both fantastic actors!
could watch this man work all day long. great actor!
Really is one of films amazing actors!
"Cowards now rule the world today" -John Dutton
The most true statement to ever be said out loud. Ugh.
They always have...
All tyrants and corrupt leaders are all weak and cowards. That’s why they are tyrannical and corrupt.
They have to be cowards to get elected for another term.
Cause you got so much more backbone calling people out on the internet, right? What a joke.
Fortunately, we have President Biden - who governs with vast experience and uses it to his best ability and with humility and compassion. But too many are corrupted by power. position, and money.
He's s great grandpa and he's a great father ❤❤
John is the best Grandpa ever! 🥰
John's talks with Tate are the best moments of this.
7:17 is the best...I love his reaction to Beth's response.😂😂😂
Lol “I can’t unhear that……..” his sarcastic / funny responses are all this funny
Just love Kevin Costner
A real cowboy 🤠 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯
A real man.
John Dutton the "VERY BEST" grandpa ever.. Luv watching John with Tate 🤗
the best granddad you can ever get like mine, I am in tears while I write this.
I swear I love this series! One thing I love about it is their quotes to each other, it hits home a lot! It makes you appreciate your surroundings and what we have!
Kevin Costner belongs to the best cowboy actors up with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood
Except Costner and Eastwood weren't racists.
He's hardly a cowboy in this.
John is the only man Beth is scared shitless of.
"Baby, I love our man-to-man talks, but we need to set some G-Damn boundaries here... I can't unhear that, honey." 😂
My uncle and I had a similar relationship to John and Beth. I miss our man to man talks too
I keep watching clips on RUclips never saw the show….I love country living ✌🏾🤙
7:41 Stirred strong to mind the words of the late John Prine song -
But dreaming just comes natural
Like the first breath from a baby
Like sunshine feeding daisies
Like the love hidden deep in your heart
Dutton love his grandson more than anything….he will wreck havoc for him❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best Father and Grandfather ever in TV history, he is the Patriarch.
Want to know more about John’s relationship with his wife. Why she wanted to adopt Jamie & why didn’t he ever remarry?
That could be a plot explained in future episodes
Best show in the world!
I’m watching this because my son wants a ranch and have the same dream my father had, all family in the same ranch. I’m a city boy that I never thought of that. But I’m digging the family leaving on the same street in same ranch lifestyle.

My favorite actor No way out , Message in a Bottle 🇱🇰
John Dutton Is The Best.
1:08 Every rebellious child is confident and righteous until their father gives them the look.
He treated everyone like he loved them except Jaime who was the only one who did what he wanted.
What about casey he branded him into his gang
" i know exactly the man you are and never be sorry for it ".
Real dad talk to his son.
ya Beth needed to hear that
❤😢Kevin is a great actor who excited the world with his gram film with the wolf 🙏🙏❤️
"I tell you what Tate, sure am glad I got a grandson out of Kacey and that Indian princess and not that homely aunt of yours..."
Quite ironic that the one he loves the most after his late wife is Tate, at the moment his one and only heir after all the Duttons are gone. If Kayce didn't refuse his command to have Tate aborted when Monica got pregnant, he would be left with no biological heir.
Spot on, great observation.
When you're my age, dreams mean I should wake up and go to the bathroom...😎
"I know it now. And now is all that matters". 😢
Can't wait for season 5
It's why you should respect your elders.
“Something kills us all”- John dutton
I hated how he treated Jamie, I personally think Jamie would’ve been better off if he was adopted by a different family.
John has always treated Jaime like an employee. The governor even has a line in season 2 when she says that parents talk to their kids like employees
I hope Season 5 is going to be better than Season 4
Season 4 was a disappointment. It started out strong with that 15-minute opening that pretty much concluded what Season 4 ended on, then it just slowed the breaks and repeated a bunch of things from the previous seasons. fantastic tv serie

That's the last lesson for every man, especially in today's world.
Want to be a badass be a John dutton
When do we get season 5? I want it now!
Due out November - in two parts - 7 episodes each if I recall correctly.
November 13! I’m so ready!!!
I hope we get to see John meeting his other grandson
"Best dad moments?" You mean when he's not having someone murdered?
Best is a relative term.
Become a monster and then learn how to control it

Here's the only real question.
Who's the Boss of all Bosses?
Thomas Shelby
Tony Sorprano
Marty Bird
Kareem Sieed
?
Pick your Boss.
Obviously, John Dutton is in it, too.
Bagus dan baik sekali👍👍
Saya INI PAK GITO menonton film anda,
So he’s saying that if i hadn’t begun drinkin’ coffee at 6 i’d be over 6 foot?
I'm 6'6", thank heavens I drank coffee at a young age...😯
Such a shame Kevin Costner wants out of this role
Lil man Tate is so damn cute.

He looks just like that saul Goodman guy.
Gemma Teller or Beth Dutton?
The values and morals in this show are so lacking in this new world and these generations. Pls find the good and true in all u do and say be humble and quite slow to anger and

Most of his great fatherly moments dont include Jaime lol
Meaner than evil...
I can’t stand Beth. I wish John put her in her place more often
J aim sa relation.avec son petit fils❤il sait.comment'parler avec lui❤zohra zohra
ZACH BETH
But no call to blood the boy
John really was a horrible father mistreated his kids wonder why he’s gonna lose the ranch
10:04
Hes decided to stat he got more money
Not the kind of father I would want,
He’s a horrible father
Taylor Sheridan is the WORST screenwriter! Stilted conversation that would NEVER take place in the real world. It's painful to listen to.
Well looks like he's been shut down. Likely the State of Montana is suing him
The bit about Tate not feeding his horse rings pretty true.
Toxic masculinity at It best .
Shut up
Amen. I want some more of it.
It’s not at and if you think that then you have absolutely no idea what it really is
@@kaylaireland3494 I was being sarcastic
This should be like 3 seconds long he’s a horrible dad
I thought I was the only one who felt this way!
He’s really not. I wish he was my dad. And millions of others who truly has horrible dads would agree
Wish a lot more men had fathers like John Dutton and my father, this world wouldn’t be so screwed up if they were.
I get second hand embarrassment from this show, it's so cringe. The acting is complete garbage.
Too bad you don’t see a lot of tougher patriarchies nowadays
