Born and raised on a ranch , my parents wanted a degree from me (i did, im a electrical engineer), but i cant be away from the ranch. Every Saturday and Sunday i have to go, i cant be away from my horse or the ranch, i love being there, my 8 year old is ready Friday after school to go the the ranch. Theres no better feeling in this world than work the land and the animals of that land.
I need to buy the series all I see are the bits and pieces here on youtube but haven't ever enjoyed a series more than this! I am 67 was brought up on horses and mules have a horse and a mule now and work on a longhorn ranch. These animals can hurt you but mostly they are just kicking it and sometimes we get in the way lol. My grandfather plowed with mules and a wagon to haul his equipment until he was way into his 70's until a little red jackass which he swore he was just playing attacked him broke his hip which put him on clutches but that man was tough through and through. This series warms my heart and Kevin Costner one of my most favorite but now I can say I will have to add more to the list! Beth of my goodness that woman is a beautiful fireball and the only one worthy of her would have to be Rip! I could go on and on but my 2 typing fingers are missing a lot! Lmao! Thank you all for this very exciting and entertaining series from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
I love this freaking show. I’m in my 40s and it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Walking dead and GOT in the running. Still may be the best. Soooo sad to see Kevin leave. Won’t be the same. Rip still My fav tho.

I’ve noticed that nobody has to clean, take the trash out, do laundry, do dishes, etc yet the inside and outside of their homes and ranch is just perfectly clean. In the bunkhouse they just sit around and play cards or drink or sleep. Tv and movies really glamorize a lifestyle when in reality the biggest, baddest dude that ever lived still has to clean and do laundry and dishes
cause Yellowstone doesn't show all the hard, painful, tiring work of being a true cowboy. Hardly ever is the weather nice and the ground dry. Especially in Montana you are always competing with the weather. Everyone wants to be a cowboy till you have to walk out in the middle of a snow storm to help a cow calf while clomping through a mixture of cow shit and dirt that each step is trying to rip the boots off your feet.
i love this show alot!!!! .. for me personally it's a little too much dramq and death, i enjoy the scenes with the normal cowboying stuff the most - jake, ethan, ryan, mo, teeter and colby the most - not too much drama, funny scenes and and just nice characters to watch :) ❤❤❤❤❤
Never done it, been around horses, when I was a child, but I love this show! Being half French Canadian and half Mexican, with Portuguese sprinkled lol. I love, how, they sprinkle cultures. Cowboy camp made a difference in the actors performance on and around the horses, however, John Dutton/Kevin mounts up and sits a horse very well.
